Great little park just off the beaten path. ( Lake Washington Blvd ) Here you can lie out and watch the sun set over the Olympics and Seattle. Feel free to jump in the lake, or fish off the dock. Lots off grass where you can set up an area and relax. Read a book, people watch, launch a kayak, or just enjoy the birds and listen to the waves. Fabulous little intimate park!

Amazing sunsets views from this park. Very near to Kirkland downtown. Grab something to eat and sit here and enjoy the sunset. Lovely overall.

Lovely!!! The ducks were friendly. Very few people.I saw a pink buoy that appeared to have a duck entangled in the chain. I took my shoes and socks off and hurried into the water to save the duck; calling Cmon baby duck! Ive got French fries from Ivars right across the street.I wasted several French fries before I realized it was a diver.....not a duck.One of my best FAILS ever.Great beach.

This park has some great little benches to sit on and. A lovely peer to look out over the water. The views are always enjoyable here, wether at night with the neon lights from the city in the background or during the day when the sun glimmers off the waves. Its quite peaceful when there arent too many people and. A great place to just hang out, read a book, eat some food, or just relax for a while. Lovely!

Quiet and less crowded park, lots of people doing water sports like kiteboarding and windsurfing. I Iove watching them, thus I like spending time here with my husband.

Nice little park, with an absolutely gorgeous view of the water. Typically pretty quiet, this is a nice relaxation spot.

Limited parking, but very lovely view along with a small dock. The grassy area slopes down and is nice for blanket picnicking.

Beautiful spot to enjoy the Sunset in any season. The sun goes down right over Seattle across the lake. Small park, mostly for sitting and enjoying ducks and lake views. Plenty of park benches to capitalise on both of these.

Beautiful small park to hang out. There isnt much seating but the grass lawn is very comfortable. During summer months you can just sit and watch the sunset and relax and this spot has been a source of many fantastic sunset photographs for me. There is a small picnic area on the right side of the park which sometimes is occupied but thankfully never noisy.

I mean live right next to it and im in it so yeah i like it here. And i didnt get a great pic of it cause im ln a boat

One of the nice roadside parks along Lake Washington just south of downtown Kirkland. The parking lot at the park itself is small, but there is plenty of parking along the road itself. Perfect place to sit and listen to the lake waves crashing on the shore.

Need small shade there dude! Too much openness on burning sun! No big tree for shade even!

Food and services are great, and they deserve 5 stars. However, there were too many wasps flying around outside tables. It was not restaurants fault (they placed a bunch of wasp traps around tables on the outside deck); however, these insects made our lunch not very comfortable.Best regards and good luck.

About 7 parking stalls in the lot plus bathrooms. Trees offer lots of shade for picnics! Great views of the Olympics and Seattle. Nice dock for swimming. Theres also a tiny bit of beach front. A little quieter than the neighbouring parks with playgrounds.

Love the Kirkland waterfront and all the parks along the lake.

It’s one of the landmark of the city of Kirkland. This park is open to public and sits on the Lake Washington. There are play areas for children and areas for small picnic. The boat ramps are long and great to walk or relax on. There is also a mini swimming beach for kids. Perfect place for taking a walk or walk the dog at any time of the day. Parking is free but not enough parking spaces. But that is how it is in the entire city. The idea is not to have a park to be too crowded since there are so many. It works out well when you have figured that out. So, if you find this one to be busy, keep driving up north along the lake. You will find one.

Quaint little park in kirkland; most of the crowd seems to be at the Houghton beach park nearby, so you can get quiet space here. There are also some strategically placed trees and lampposts, that contribute to great pictures at sunset!

I went during sunset hours. There were clouds in the sky with the sun in between, which made it a perfect backdrop for photos. It looked gorgeous. The park was relatively small with some picnic tables in it and a dock, but no playground. It was right by Lake Washington.

Fun place to swim in the lake or just lay/sot down under the trees to read a book or enjoy the hot summer. This place is not full of kids like the Mariner so its more adult feel. However their restrooms suck, very old and no mirror even in the Ladies.

Bit of grass by the lake. Small gravel beach and a dock. Has a bench or two. Small parking lot, but street parking isnt bad usually.

Beautiful with great lake access. Its not a soft sandy entrance to the water or once you get in for that matter, I would recommend water shoes.

Petty view, ducks wander by often, nice little walk. Theres a Ben and Jerrys nearby. Lots of benches. The parking is a little challenging sometimes, but not crazy and it doesnt cost anything.

Great place to go swim in hot July - August days; there is a dock for jumping into the water. Lots of kayakers and pedal boards; boats dont get too close to this park. Also, there is tables available for a picnic. Public restrooms are present.
