Marina Park is a gem, pure and simple. While they have paid parking (except for Sundays and holidays!), the way the marina bumps right up to enterprising restaurants and food stands while also providing a great sunset view of easter Seattle is nothing short of magical. A full five stars would be given if ANY measure of physical distancing was enforced.

Nice downtown Marina with a small Park and Waterfront. They also have a pavilion where sometimes they have arts and crafts displays, summer concerts and the like. Parking is also very cheap here, its only $1 per hour with a 4 Hour maximum. There are also several shops and restaurants right there by the marina. My favorite is Coffee and Cone, great ice cream!

We had our November wedding ceremony in the pavilion. Had a gorgeous day and loved the venue. Other people were around and watching, but respected our privacy and use of the space. Renting the venue through the city website was super easy and a great value. Were able to set up speakers and music through the power onsite, but did have to buy an extension chord. Overall loved it and would do it again. Posting a picture of the wedding setup since I wasnt able to find one when we were considering the space!!

Quaint little shore with harbor/pier facilities in Kirkland. Many donated park benches. We sat and watched a wedding for couple of hours. The wedding was happening in the covered gazebo with live choirs! Lots of people with kids and doggos. We also watched parasailors practicing and guys of jet skies. Lots of water activities. Good family recreational area.

As soon as I sat down, I saw a seagull which had something on its foot. It was a piece of rope, wrapped tightly, cutting off circulation. The affected foot was sickly amd deformed, like it was about to fall off. Nearby law enforcement declined to assist in finding the correct agency to contact, or euthanise the suffering bird.

Lots of healing energy in this place. It was a wonderful reprieve from daily life. Wondeful walkable area by the water. Also a great place to come with a picnic blanket. Grass is always green and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and a Ben & Jerrys close by. During the summer little kids are wasing and swimming in the shallows, families are strolling around and teenagers are jumping off the docks down the road.

A really nice area Kirkland has made for themselves along the waterfront. They put alot into the land based area. However, Im also a boater. The docks surface needs a good replacing. The boards are aged and warped and is not friendly to smaller boats. Not at all in fact if I wanted to pull up. I left 1 star for them to get the docks right. After dinner, its a decent stroll along the park though which is a solid 4 stars. MAKE IT A POINT TO VISIT WHEN IN THE AREA EATING OR OTHERWISE.

Really lovely place on the water with beautiful views. Park benches where you can sit and enjoy the views. Nice, kiddie pool, some green space. Not much of a walking/running/biking path. But good for eating lunch or dinner, relaxing, meeting friends, etc.Very walkable area with lots of good restaurants and coffee, ice cream, etc. There is also a larger Gazebo which you can sit in and get out of the rain or too much sun. Clean, large public restrooms such are well kept. Free parking lot and street parking surrounding.
