Nice walk to get here, but dont expect to spend a lot of time exploring or looking around. If you want to swim, theres a place set aside for you, and a nice dock walk. Youll need to view this as a stop and smell the roses kind of place. Other than that, 10 minutes and youve seen everything.

Park is scenic, nice walking dock and shaded area w/ kids playground ...but the parking is atrocious. Hard to find, on a steep hill w/ 1-car clearance; alternative parking on middle level has white shaded areas that say no parking... but guess what? People park there, too... so then Im locked in & cant maneuver out. Also these covid-related playground closures are ridiculous! Its been 6 months. Open the freaking kids area!! Kids need to play.

Very romantic and cozy place. The sunset was beautiful . I have to mention that there was a lot of people at this place, and some of them were not using masks. But most of the people respected social distancing. This is the perfect place to visit specially on summer. You can swim, do paddleboarding or just sit down and watch a very nice sunset with a good company. I will definitely return to this place. I recommend it 100%.

Was there in the early morning and there was only one other person there...the solitude was nice. The dock is large and gets you way off the beach. The beach entry into the water is large pea gravel, which isnt as easy to walk on as sand, but isnt too hard on the feet. Restrooms were clean and close to the beach area.

A hidden gem of Kirkland. Fairly small park, but includes a rocky beach, a pier, pavilion, playground and plenty of benches. Beautiful views of the Seattle skyline and Lake Washington.

Da
Review №15

One of my favorite Eastside beaches. Grass to lay out on, great Lake Washington water for floating and swimming, and a meandering pier to sit/walk on and jump off. The place feels small but has plenty of room for people to have an area and spread out. BBQs, picnic tables, a playground (closed during these covid times). A perfect place to be on a sunny warm Kirkland day.

Clean and beautiful! I was impressed by this hidden gem. The parking is a little limited (dont invite 50 relatives to a get together here)...though there are two parking areas. If its a busy day or you have a large vehicle, park in the first lot to the left, rather than go all the way to the bottom (I got trapped in and had to do a 50-point reversal because someone parked next to me, didnt pull all the way forward and I could barely get out because a rock wall was directly behind us and he blocked my turning path). I saw kids swimming in swim area and people fishing from pier. Theres lots of benches...it felt really relaxed. I didnt go in the bathroom but even that looked impressive from the outside (building-wise). I will definitely go back.

This is one of the best parks on Lake Washington. It is small and clean with great facilities. There are several gorgeous picnic tables and a covered area with charcoal grills. The swimming area is protected by a dock. The only downside is the water is filled with weeds that touch your legs when you swim.

Da
Review №39

Typical Rocky Washington beach with enough seaweed that makes most kids not want to swim. Lifeguards are nice I guess, but the rules are a bit stifling. The park itself is beautiful and well designed. Its a quieter beach park than others most days which makes for a nice relaxing evening. Playground equipment is good enough to entertain the kids for a while. Parking is tight but it might be a factor that reduces the parks popularity so I dont mind.

Took the dog there on a hot day last week. She liked the water then we rested in the shade with a nice, cooling breeze. I took off two stars because there was lots of goose poop on the lawn, and even in the afternoon the grass sod was wet to sit on (probably why the grass was appetising to the geese).

Nice little park.Lifeguard on duty, play set for kids, some grass, a little beach and some shade trees.Cons;. Small, swim test for kiddos, choppy water, steps to access swim area into a gravel beach (the Sandy area is outside swim zone), and parking (limited). We wouldnt have found it but Juanita was closed, so we hit up this place. We would probably start frequenting this nice little park if it werent for the lack of sandy beach.

Great place for hiking to/from the beach. Great scenic, forest area. The recreation area is small (1 bbq pit) so if your trying to do a picnic or bbq, you better try to find about reservation possibilities or just arriving early to hold the area. Beach is small also but great for sitting and reflecting, observing the surrounding area.

One of the beaches in Kirkland where you can catch a lot of fishes as well as enjoy the beautiful sunset and seattle skylines. This park is for the family who loves to swim in waves of the lake washington. There is publoc restroom here and playground for kids as well. Do visit of you are a water person this summer! Enjoy the sunset with beautiful view of the city. It can be difficult to park in the park as there is very few parking spots in the park, so i suggest you drop your gears then go street park and walk down to the beach.

This is a lovely and relatively undiscovered public park set along the banks of lake Washington in Kirkland. Theres a fishing boardwalk, a lively grass area and covered facilities for parties and such. Not much parking near the water, but theres a second parking lot halfway down to the water on the left as you drive down. Quite a find!
