Fairly good dog park. Lots of room to run and play. Has an agility area with equipment, though that seems to be the only attraction. My girls loved running through the trees and on the bark though. Liked the entrance/exit double gate. Theres also a small dog area where they can play away from the bigger dogs.

Fun, quiet and convenient. I enjoy the open space plus the wooded area. My only complaint would be that its a little muddy at times due to it being bark and dirt VS grass. Great place though!! If you arent looking specifically for grass then theres no reason you shouldnt love this place.

A few reasons I don’t like this place:1) it’s not a very big space and it’s all on a hill2) the dogs surround new dogs entering. You come in at the bottom of the slanted hill and all the dogs run up to the entrance and swarm the new dogs. I’ve been at various times/days and this always happens.3) this is more of a personal problem but I feel it should be added. The fences aren’t very high and my dog can easily jump them.4) because of the slant it’s hard to play fetch and at the top of the hill they have areas surrounding the trees marked off by 1 foot tall fences. I don’t know about your dog but mine doesn’t understand that so she walks over the fences to sniff things so I have to remove her each time.5) there’s only 2 parking spots6) there’s a river that appears unclean

Would not recommend going on a rainy day. It gets very muddy and hard to walk around. Otherwise, I always take my dog, he enjoys meeting new pups and socializing. Other owners are very kind, and sweet. I love this location, because they always have big poop bags and places for you to give your dog water. They also have a cool agility course for your pup. Next to the giant park, they have a smaller area for smaller dogs. I love this place, it is awesome!

I hesitate to write a review for this place for fear of it being discovered - but, as Google keeps asking me, I must oblige.Jaspers Dog Park is a nice clean environment to get your dog some socialization and exercise. The visitors generally clean up after their dogs and are personable, and there is plenty of shade. The terrain is entirely dirt and wood chips, with the occasional root peeking up through the tarp layer. In four weeks of daily springtime visits, I havent spotted a single tick or flea on my dog!The park features a handful of benches, an out-of-the-way little agility course, and a short little hike up to the top of a wooded hill, as well as a separate small-dog enclosure (though I have seen a few very energetic big dogs leap the fence between the enclosures, so keep an eye on your puppers).Altogether this is a lovely, tucked-away spot to get some sun and some shade for you and your furry family members. If you visit, consider donating to the park! There is a contributor board showing all the people whose generosity keeps the park going! They maintain this lovely space, so why not help out and give back to the community?(I am not affiliated with the township or with the owners of Jaspers Dog Park.)

They have a fenced off area for small dogs as well. I wouldnt bring your small kids with you. The big dogs can get kinda crazy and knock you/them down. First visit to a dog park. Im doggie-sitting my daughters Aussie named Derby and since this is his first time to this particular dog park (as well as mine), we were both timid. He was good for the most part. There was about a total of 7 med-large dogs in the fenced-in park, all unleashed. I kept mine on the leash as he and I walked around to become familiar with the area. I unleashed him a bit later, but he was still a bit nervous and a bit overwhelmed because of the dogs wanting to run and play with him (too cute!), so he stayed close to me. It would have been a perfect play area for him, but I have a feeling that because the park is a bit small for that amount of dogs, Derby was a bit tense. I wouldnt mind going back there with Derby and I think hed stand a chance to let go of his energy when the park is not at its busiest time.

This is a great off leash dog park. We have been bringing our two small dogs here since we moved. Their is a very large space for bigger dogs on the right and a smaller space on the left for the smaller dogs. The entrance to the smaller dogs is also another entrance to the bigger dog park. The first time we went their were 2 other smaller dogs but the second time we went there were no other smaller dogs. The large dog area seems to always have 5+ dogs in it which is great. Hopefully we see some more in the smaller area.Parking is not great here and you will have to park on the road and walk down as their is a business right beside which do not allow parking to the dog park.

Jaspers is a very well-maintained and diverse park situated on a hillside. The turf is soft bark and the upper hill has numerous trails between trees and brush. There is a large open area on the downhill side. Unfortunately, the trash bins are located at the beginning of the path entrance to the park, 100 yards from the park itself, requiring you to hold your dog waste until you exit, or leave your dog unattended while you dispose of it.

March 2, 2013. I was there for a seminar on dog safety. Given by Robin Foster, PhD for KDOGs Hope it is given, again. The Human Society was on hand to assist dog owners (and I do mean assist) in the park. Park details; about 1 yr old; suppose to be 2 acres (?), is on a grade (very acceptable grade, though.) Half is a grove of trees. 2 entrances corridors. Very beneficial. My dogs are sporting breeds. Design accommodated their energy. I was very pleasantly surprised by this park. Best design, best kept Ive experienced.

Ma
Review №79

The facility itself is a decent size and reasonably well kept up and secure in a shaded quiet corner of the neighborhood, but a dog park is really only as nice as the people and dogs that visit it.Sadly, Jaspers seems to attract a few owners who dont pay full attention to their dogs behavior, preferring to sit in a distant corner with their cellphones rather than keep check on their pets and stepping in when things get out of hand.If youre able to keep 100% focus on looking out for your own dog, its OK here, but a trip to the off-leash area at Warren G. Magnuson across the bridge will likely be less stressful all round.

This is a patch of land on a hill covered with large bark (Not the woof kind), that makes it difficult for some dogs to run. Maybe because its so small, kind of hard to run in. This is one of the worse off-leash parks in the region. The people who upkeep it, not their fault the city of Kirkland gave them such a bad spot to put an off-leash park but this isnt a very nice park in my opinion. Others might like it, I just dont. If Marymoor off-leash dog park is a 5, this place is a 2

Nice big park, but people need to pay attention to their dogs if they are aggressive or just dont bring them. Ive had to pull another dog off of mine who ran over when we entered the park. The golden retriever was snarling the second we got there and immediately jumped on my dog, biting his face and pinning him. I was pulling him back trying to stop him and yelling for the owner to please come get their dog, who just walked over slowly and didnt even apologize for not handling their dog.
