Big Finn hill park is a wonderful park. Its filled with various sport fields and wonderful nature paths. Its also on a major road, so whether you want to go to the movies or a nice shopping Center before or after attending the park is simple and easy. Perfect for a day out with the family or a group of friends.
We really enjoy the the park; the soccer field is great; its great for mountain biking; walking the playground; I spying bunnies all over the grassy Knolls...etc...its another Hidden Gem here!
Such a great spot with plenty of different activities to do. Hiking, biking and ball fields. Close in, but feels like you are out in the mountains. You can connect trails within Big Finn Hill, Little Finn Hill and St Edwards parks to make a long or short walk/hike/bike.
Its pretty small but there is a play area for kids. Good for families with kids and short dog walks.
Finally found a MTN biking place close to me here. Im a wheels on the ground rider these days, so this park works good for me. Plus my wife is new to mtn biking, so its a safe place for her to enjoy some pedaling as well. Lots of trails left to ride with future visits, look forward to them all.
Rain or shine, these are great trails in kirklands own backyard.
Amazing space to actually get away from people and roll a fat blunt
Just an amazing place to play soccer/lacrosse or go for a hike in the trails
Nothing special. Maybe I missed exploring it a little bit more?
Best place to MTB in the area hands down.
I just spent 3hrs here MTBing after working all day, what a treat to have these clean trails close to home.. Mahalo to the Peps keeping it clean and ripable
Nice playgrounds for younger and older kids, trails nearby, and bathrooms.
Nice fields here. Could use a littler more parking but otherwise very nice park.
Nice, free neighborhood park. Usually very clean. Ample parking at the baseball fields, and enough spots at the soccer fields/playground. My toddler loves the playground/mulch pits. Lots of great blackberry picking to be had.
A few years ago this park on Finn Hill was a swamp! Thanks to the community and some savvy Lacrosse enthusiasts an investment was made into the park. The one large turf field has lights and is used by adult and youth soccer teams as well as lacrosse. Theres a playground and I think a smaller ball field. Parking is somewhat limited. Bring your mosquito spray in spring and summer.
Shredded the gnar here.
The park is well kept, and the nearby forest trails are quite pleasant. Its also nice how big it is.
Great walking area. Its pretty easy to get lost in here... But there are a fair ammount of entrances and exits. I came across some ducks, saw some other interesting birds, and saw signs of deer. There seems to be a lot of wild life in this area and I really enjoyed exploring on my tiny trek. I will definitely be back for another hike.
Loved this place
Its the bees knees. I think we should propose sainthood for all those who made the lacrosse field possible.
Big. Green. Clean
Fun local mtb park
Such a great job building mountain bike trails! Great place to ride after work!
It was a cool park. The people are nice and the trails are well maintained. We had a good time. The parking lot is spacious and had nice facilities.
Awesome trails. Great sports fields. Sometimes LARPers take advantage of the setting. Please keep your dogs leashed. Everything you need in a neighborhood park including a swamp full of critters.

There are some trails in here. Its a nice park. Smaller than i thought going in. There is a section of trail closed as they work on it. There was plenty of parking. I suppose is the was a game or could have filled up. Nice wooded area to walk in.

This is a good place to play Pokemon Go or to do short pretty hikes or practice sports on nice, well kept fields.
This place is amazing but you can get lost since the trails are not marked
Its nice and clean and nice park for kids
Great Park and walk area great area for the kids play baseball
Be careful at this park! I have gone twice now with my dogs. The second time we went, my dogs ball rolled into a toxin that the vet narrowed down to slug bait/speed/meth. He was admitted to the Emergency Vet and had to stay for 12hrs to be monitored. If this went untreated it would have been fatal. Please be careful. My dog was only retrieving the ball the entire time but he still got seriously ill. We were in the field by the jungle gyms, please be careful! If you see your dog trembling uncontrollably take them to the vet immediately!! It started out as just a shiver but quickly progressed into full body tremors. Stay safe!!
Areas of the park are currently under construction/maintenance. Trails for walking dogs and hiking. The playground equipment is newer and well maintained.
Very cool interior
Big Finn Hill park is really three sections: the athletic fields (soccer and baseball, as well as frequent lacrosse use), two play structures (one for 4 and under and one for older kids), and the trails. The trails are very very quiet on weekdays, and you might spend an hour there without seeing anyone. The trails are frequented by mountain bikers, hikers, and dogs, so whoever you are, when you go, make sure to do whatever you need to do to accommodate other users of the space. Its a wonderful resource to have in the area. If you are there with your dogs, there are free waste cleanup bags by the picnic shelter.
One of those hidden treasures places. Lots of good trails to bike or run your dog.
Excellent place to set and relax. Has play ground for little children and grown-up children. Has soccer field. Has beautiful trails to walk through its magnificent area.
Beautiful setting with great big toys for the kids.
Nice park. Lots of ball fields and areas for kids to play. So light hiking trails.
A good place for a walk. Can get a not noisy on sunny weekends.
Great for soccer and lacrosse, turf field, wall for practice, lacrosse storage, lots of lacrosse nets. Play structures, baseball fields. Good hiking and mountain biking trails.
Great place in the middle of the city to get lost in. Dont worry, its not big enough to actually get lost in.
Very great area. Theres 3-4 baseball fields, a lacrosse/soccer field, a play ground for younger ones, and tons of trails through the woods to enjoy.
Good intermediate, non jump mtb trails
Great play area, good fields, good lawn, picnic tables.
Lots of crisscross trails, but they are narrow and shared with hikers, runners, and mountain bikers.
Nice place for mountain bike skill building
Nice park and play fields. Lots of walkable trails and trees for hot days.
Lots of room to roam. Upper fields can be soggy. Kids park, soccer field and baseball players dream fields. Very pet friendly.
A hiking biking park with miles of easy to challenging trails adjacent to Bastyr and Saint Edwards Park with miles of additional trails all in deep woods making you feel like youre out in some National Forest miles away from the city.
The trails can be a bit rugged in some parts, but theyre long and immersive. Theres a trail junction by the waterfront with a restroom.
Great walking trails that are nicely maintained
I work for an outdoor preschool in this park, it is a beautiful place with old growth forest, wetlands, fields and easily accessible trails. Park staff are friendly and helpful.
Big Finn is a fun XC mountain biking, trail running and walking area. It has a little bit of everything and a great place for novice riders and runners to progress. Advanced users can link these trails easily with Saint Eds and get some great rolling miles. Theyre fairly smooth so hardtails and CX bikes are well suited. Theres also water fountains at the lacrosse center and Saint Edwards. Plenty of free parking at the lacrosse center but you need a Discover pass to park at Saint Edwards. Some free pull out parking in the neighborhoods. The trails are maintained by the county and Evergreen MTB Alliance.
Great place for mountain biking. So many trails to explore and several locations with jumps. Never too crowded and I always have an enjoyable time here.
So small and close to roads, great for small kids and a walk with the pup tho
We took the kid on a trail walk then he had tons of fun on the nice big toy
I grew up here .its beautiful.its all woods and trails.no wheel chairs or bathroom
Excellent turf I wish the lights were not so low. Lights gets on your eyes on balls playing on air
Great trails. Always well kept and maintained. Not typically very crowded in the off season.
This park has a state of the art playing field, lots of trails and a picnic area. Small playground that could use an upgrade.
