Its nice and spacious...the castle could use a brighter paint as it looks a bit washed out with grey colour...a light colour shade would brighten the while place up..
Fun park for kids! You can park next to fire station.
Great playground for all ages under 10. Right spaces for parents playing tag and there are two structures with one for younger kiddos. Someone unfortunately graffitied many of the walls. Hopefully that will be cleaned up soon. The rest of th park has lots of grass to play catch or soccer. There is even a bathroom.
It is so fun it is very spacious it has many fun things to do here you can let imagination run free I recommend this place to everyone I loved it coming again later.
Big maze-like play structure for kids of multiple ages.
Nice little neighborhood park with bridges and wetlands.
Really great playground for the younger children. The whole thing is accessible for 2+ but feels much grander than I was expecting. Only negatives are no bathroom in a big park and no good parking (street or lot) near the playground
My daughter and I love this little Gem. They recently fixed up the climber, making it seem almost new again. My favorite part is that you get a short little nature hike on your way in and out of the park.
Nice park. Playground equipment and short trails. Nice gazebo and places for picnics. Parking and access from main road is a challenge. We parked on back side and walked in on a little trail, but it looked like a parking lot on the south side. Noticed that after we walked in.
A lovely park with so many options! A wooded boardwalk though the wetlands, a picnic shelter in a clearing, and the large castle-shaped playground! Theres even open fields near the playground for spreading out a blanket or running around. This park is beautiful and even has a smaller, toddler-sized playground on the eastern side.
This is an awesome playground for climbing around, exploring, and hide and seek. There is a toddler area for the smaller kids, wooden castle-looking structures with a couple different slides for the bigger kids, swings, and a small field to run around in. Plus, the whole park is fenced and theres only 1 real entry/exit point to the play area! When youre hot and tired out, there are some short, shaded walks around here over some wetland boardwalks. The only downside is the restroom situation: one portable. At least it has a sense of privacy off to the side under some trees and surrounded in three sides by a fence.
Saw this park on Seattles Child last year and decided to find the Castle in the woods. We were disappointed that it was taped off and we couldnt play, so we will storm the castle a other day now that we found it.
My son loves this park!!!
My son loves this park. Its great on a cold day or a hot day.
Fun, but theres no parking lot nearby.
The park is only for children! No dogs, so clean and comfortable!
Great wetlands path to walk through which makes you feel like your going into the jungle. Next it opens up to the big wooden castle playset complete with rocket ship and a dragon for good measure. My girls had a blast and we happened to show up during a community picnic with facepaintung and bouncy house. Great park
Very well kept park, my kids love it because of the castle design and layout. The tire swing is a huge hit as well.
Great playground gated completely. Would give it a 5, but there is no formal parking.
Beautiful park! Well kept and maintained. Lots of grassy space for picnics. There is only minimal street parking and the playground is accessible through trails or the busy sidewalk. Luckily the trails are paved in most places. No formal bathrooms only portables.
Parking can be tricky but its is at the fire station parking lot.(you can see there are signs say its for Park & fire station parking. )I liked it especially its fenced playground :)Couldnt find the restroom near though!
No water fountain, or am I blind??! We ended up driving a few blocks down on Slater and scootering across the freeway overpass to the next park for a water fountain.Other than that, and the lack of a real restroom (porta-potty), this is one of my daughters favorite play spots. Also lucky enough to say I helped build it many years ago :p
Locally known as “the castle park”. Playground is enclosed. (From all of us parents to whoever made the decision to do that- THANK YOU!) Has several slides and a bouldering wall. Also has swings which are becoming a rarity on playgrounds. Enclosed within the enclosed playground is a toddler area. The playground is just the right size. Big enough to have variety for the kids, but small enough you don’t lose your kiddos. The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is parking. You can’t park on 124th so you’re stuck finding a spot on one of the sides streets and have a 5-10 minute walk to get there. This also often involves crossing a busy street; not so much with little kids. However once on the playground, it’s great!
Too close to the road for my taste. But maybe also convenient.
Great playground and wooden area to wander around with the kids.
Its a great playground for different ages.
Parking a little mysterious but the play structure was amazing for my grandsons.
Nice place
Its a very nice park, but no restroom!
Great park for kids and dog walks.
Great for kids of all ages, has toddler area
I like this park but I only gave it the stars because it doesnt have convenient parking and no bathrooms. It does have a nice boardwalk to get from street parking to the park which is a nice bonus.
This park is fun to walk through and has a great Castle themed play area. The only draw back is there is only street parking.
Lovely neighborhood playground/park to have your kids play, take some fresh breath and sit in the sun.
Its a nice park but the big chess peices are gone
Adorable park. Great for kids from 18 mo to 12 yrs old.
No bathrooms, no parking. Clearly city money funding a park for the wealthy neighborhood thats masquerading as a service to the public.
Clean nice park but always slot of people
Cool little playground in a style of ancient times and dragons
Nice park for a walk through the woods and a great play ground area for kids. Good seating for parents to watch the action and a porta potty. I took off a star for the bugs on the walk!
Its a nice and well maintained park. Enough shade from the trees and picnic area. Theres a playground with a cool wooden castle and another smaller one. It even has a restroom, but just a honey-bucket kind of stall.
Very clean. Two playgrounds for variety -- one with equipment for a variety of ages, the other aimed more at toddlers. Both fully enclosed for additional safety. And nice trails though the woods for additional beauty.
North Rose Hill Woodland Park AKA Castle Park or Rocket Ship Park to my kids is awesome! Parking is located at the fire station or street parking. It has wetland/marsh with little bridges, lots of grass and tables, and a huge playground. There are no public restrooms, only a portapotty.
Great place to walk our dog and for children to play at.
Super great wood castle, few swings, with grass. Only problem is the parking. No water area to play.
The castle playground is awesome. And the path that goes through the wetlands is really nice.
Great place for the kids to play. Theres a play structure, open field, trail, and gazebo. Park on along 95th or 100th.
Love this park. Hard to take kids to in the winter time because they dont have a restroom. Only a honeybucket in the summer.
It was nice and clean
Great place to take the kids. Safe. Fun. No weird smells!
Great park for kids. Parking is not close, but worth the hassle.
Love this park ️
Great play for kiddos
Great park close to water
Great park with a nice playground, marsh boardwalk and picnic shelter.
Great park, but I just wish they had bathrooms and a drinking fountain. There is a port-a-potty but it usually doesnt have hand sanitizer - so bring your own!
Beautiful wooded paths. Very serene.
Great place to hang out cold or warm for kiddos of all ages!! Very unique place to place
Kids love the play structures and its a nice quiet walk on the boardwalk through the woods
Super cool playscape
Kids love this playground!
Great park, except there isnt a restroom. Parking is available, though capacity is limited and remote from the playground.
Great playground no parking
Good park, street parking a decent walk away.
Super fun for kids. No other pearl like it on the Eastside
Excellent play structure, shady hills, and a great trail with interpretive signage.
Peaceful park, good for a walk.
Nice park to enjoy nature and play
Good walking paths, children love play area
Nice place, nearby park for walking and relaxing
Very best place to relax
