Oh my goodness. We just LOVE this spot! The coffee and muffins in the morning are the perfect start to the day. The private water access with kayaks to loan, beach chairs, and towels. Its the perfect location for us, 10-20 minutes to all the best spots to eat. We have stayed in one of the smaller rooms, perfectly accommodating. Ive been spoiled and we stayed in room 6 which is a one bedroom beach bungalow. It is spectacular! RIGHT on the water, views of the sunset from the picture window in the living room! We wont ever stay at another hotel. Big thanks to Guy for being a great host!

What a great place to stay to enjoy the FL Keys the way it use to be. Quaint little rooms that are very clean and well kept. The property is loaded with plants, squirrels and birds. There is also a wonderful swimming area including tiki huts and clean beach. There are plenty of chairs along the beach and kayaks to enjoy in the bay.We are so looking forward to coming back to the property. Scott and Guy who run the resort were fantastic even though we had a minor incident with the guests next door to us. Scott will work with us to make sure our next visit is even more special.

This place is great, great water pressure in shower. A plus, clean and a WAY better feel than a hotel. Definitely will be back.

It was a beautiful place. Perfect if you have small kids. Staff isnt very friendly at all though. House keeping made sure we had fresh towels everyday without asking. Dont stay here if you have family in the area as there are no guests allowed to visit you.

What a Hidden Gem! Just wanted to stay in Key Largo one more night and found this to be inexpensive and close by. I absolutely love it, cute little cottage type rooms, private beach, literally everything you would want in a stay in the Keys, and you cant beat the price! We stayed at a super expensive Resort the previous two nights and had a better time here! not to mention the staff is super friendly!

Cute, quaint, functional. Has everything you need for a multi-night stay. Warm, complimentary breakfast. Kayaks. Nice little swim area. I would stay here again.

This place gets a big fat 0.. not sure how it is even open with the bug infested rooms the have.. yes the outside is nice and family friendly, however to sleep you must put cotton balls in your eyes so the bugs dont crawl in .. disgusting be aware this place should be shut down

The place is super quiet and i like that and the people are super nice ....but they wont let you enter even a visitor

We stayed in cottage #5 with our kids and my brother in law stayed in #7. We had the most amazing trip. Our kids were in awe of all the animals on the property, the rooms were simple, cozy, and very clean, the staff was friendly, and the views from the beach were incredible. It was a magical experience for our family and a great place to bond. There were little touches of charm everywhere I looked. We would come back in a heart beat for a romantic getaway without the kids, or do it all over again for a family vacation. Dont expect luxury or fancy linens, but do bring peanuts for the squirrels, take advantage of the boat dock for sunset viewing, and dont be afraid to take a day and just stay on the property to relax by the water.

This was our 2nd time here and it was as great as the 1st time, kayaks and paddleboard are included, private beach, grilling area, plenty seating areas great place to see manatees when you go out kayaking and overall a very chill place. Staff is helpful and informative and funny. Definitely a great place to stay!

Very quiet and idyllic place, cosy and relaxing, simply beautiful.Our Room had all we needed, we were welcomed and showed around, all was explained.We loved the free use of the kayaks.Fantastic sea views and clear water, great to snorkel and swim around.

This place is as amazing now as it was years ago, this is the only place I will ever stay while visiting Key Largo.

What can I say.... The hotel itself is nice. Its in a quiet area and has a jungle vibe. The lizards are fun to watch. The beach is small and could use some cleaning of grass but still pleasant. Loved the free kayaking but paddle boards are 20.00 an hr. And 3 hammocks yay.Bad part was the staff. Unfriendly and quick to yell at people. The cleaning staff didnt clean actually left sand in room everywhere. Beds are uncomfortable but TV is nice size. I wont personally go back here. Maybe try Marathon key.

What a gem! So glad we found this peaceful relaxing place to stay. Great for couples or families. Have a nice breakfast in the morning with tasty muffins and frittatas. The folks that run it are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The small private beach area is great for launching the on-site kayaks (free for use) and watching the sunset. You will enjoy your stay here - we sure did.

We loved this little Eden right off the main path! The staff was wonderful and the small beach area were more than welcoming. This was also a great budget friendly option for a beautiful sunset viewing from the dock.

I brought my husband here for his birthday and we both loved it!! If your looking for a fancy resort, this may not be your cup of tea. But if your looking for Privacy, Cleanliness, an accommodating staff, lush landscaping, and simply to decompress, this is your place. In this age of Covid and social distancing, we actually felt super safe here. Every precaution is taken by the staff. The cottages are distant enough from each other that you need not run into anyone if you dont want to . The small beach area is perfect for sunbathing and still cooling yourself off at the same time. The complementary breakfast was tasty, simple and hit the spot. Loved the mini frittatas and blueberry muffins that were freshly made! I literally asked one of my neighbors for a wine opener and not even 5 minutes later, Linda from the front desk actually found me by the beach to give me the wine opener. My cottage was pretty, simple, quaint and immaculate and super quiet (thank you scott for getting that for me). The grounds are clean, relaxing and full of nature to watch (take nuts for the squirrels), lots of woodpeckers, cardinals, and gorgeous iguanas. There lots of BBQs available to use on the grounds. Finally, what the keys are known for.... a magnificent sunset. Thanks to the Seafarer staff!! Well be back!

The place was very clean and tranquil and the staff was very nice except for an old gentleman by the name of Guy who is so rude and bipolar.

Clean quiet rooms, with good service. The beach is not very clean but good to relax next to and watch sun sets. Upgrade to the cottage if available.

In love with this place. First time in Key Largo and I was nervous about where to book. This place had the most affordable rate with free kayak rentals so I picked it. We had a garden suite around the corner from the leasing office, near the soda machine and across from the laundry room. Super laid back atmosphere with amazing views at the patio area. The only part of the free breakfast that I had were the chocolate muffins which were amazing. Not sure what options they had since my bf brought back the food. It was within a 5-10 minute drive to the bars/restaurants we went to. The room wasnt too claustrophobic. Had a flat screen, mini fridge and microwave. I liked that the lamps had usb slots. The bathroom seemed huge with a nicely tiled shower that couldve fit 5 people at once. The man at the front desk, Scott, was very nice and you can tell that he takes pride in this place.

The most friendly staff ever in the USNot the most fancy hotel, but a good deal for the money. Room are clean, beach is nice and clean. Road is close, but finally less noisy than the average air conditioner (those in my room was pretty silent).

The back patio is beautiful! Bring your snorkel and walk right in.Clean room needs room darkening blinds. Fairly bright even at night. If youre a light sleeper remember your earplugs. Everything in the Keys is close to the highway which gets busy with semi trucks at night.Very reasonable accommodations for the price. This is my second stay.

A peaceful relaxing place to let go of your worries and enjoy sunset. Run by very nice folks, clean and comfortable rooms. They have a nice little breakfast with fresh frittata and muffins along with the usual coffee and juice. Recommend you stop here

This place has become one of our favourite places to relax. It is quiet, you can do bbq right next to the beach. It is nothing luxury, but it is very comfortable and relaxing. Amazing for people that lives in cities.

The location was perfect for my wife and I. The rooms were also awesome as well. We stayed in the Redfish room the first night and then moved to one of the villas. The Villa was awesome but the neighbors were horrible..but it is not a reflection of the resort. The staff was exceptional.

Really cool place to stay with their own beach perfect for sunsets and swimming. Rooms are large (#4) and clean. Plenty of parking. Breakfast is included but small. Good price / value when compared to others.

We were received by Craig as old friends! The place is beautiful with a platform on the water to lay back and enjoy the most beautiful sunset. Impeccable and clean rooms. We used the kayaks and also saw a manatee! Highly recommended!

Sadly the reviews here dont reflect my experience. I paid for a room for my fathers birthday. Once I arrived after 8 hours of driving in bad weather, they informed my that the room I paid for had been rented to someone else. The attitude from the hotel manager was pretty much tough and they tried to downgrade us to a smaller room. Even after I explained that I had paid for a different room and showed my reservation that they charged for 3 months prior, his answer was theyre not much different even though the room was facing the parking lot and the other room I requested was beachfront and larger.I ended up asking for a refund and the manager / office assistant seemed so angry about it that he was shaking. In the end, they did refund my money and after not being in the keys since 2014 it was a sad day for a trip that we had been looking forward to for a very long time. We ended up staying at Rock Reef a couple of motels down. It doesnt have a private beach, but it has water access/BBQ and the price was reasonable for a room with a full kitchen and separate bedroom.I didnt write this review to spread negative energy, in fact, I never write reviews. However, this was a rare occasion that never happens with my family and the way I was treated at the front desk, I felt it was necessary to share my experience. Maybe I just had bad luck with Seafarer. Happy Travels!

I loved this place! The room was pretty small, but it was very cute and clean. The best part was their beach area. You can sit in the water in their chairs, chill on their many hammocks, or go kayaking for free. Also free breakfast and very friendly host! The host carries peanuts around to feed the friendly squirrels, which he gave some to us to join in the fun.

Antiquated, rustic and cute. Very Key West. Could use a couple shelves in the bathroom for items to place. LOVED the delicious muffins and egg frittatas. Didnt like the unexpected wake up to the tearing up of the roof to repair, but overall cute place for a nice weekend getaway.

Very nice relaxing small beach area. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Make sure you book the room with the view to the water, only one! This picture is from inside looking out. Also have private grills, hammocks, and lounge chairs with two on a floating dock you wade too.

Really cool place! We are not the resort type of people and loved it. Our room was a decent size with kitchenette so we could grill out right outside and also cook in the room. Very laid back with tiki torches and hammocks. Guy was very nice and helped us a find more of a non-touristy snorkel trip. Would def stay again.

Had a great experience here. The rooms are clean, and affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small private beach with chairs and hammocks set up. Kayaks are available for no cost to use during the day. A light breakfast is set up outside. We drank our coffee on the beach and enjoyed every moment of the peaceful atmosphere. We also had a great view of the sunset here.

Love this place. Friendly quiet awesome sunsets and new residences that are around the dock, a baby sand shark and manatee daily. I stay here at least once or twice a year to go diving

Ive stayed at 4-5 other hotels in the Keys but this is by far my favorite. Its pretty much perfect. The beach may look small in the pictures but its never over crowded even @ sunset. Go early in the morning and youll probably have the beach to yourself. We saw manatees while kayaking our first trip & this last trip my daughter saw dolphins not too far off the dock. Lizards, iguanas & friendly squirrels are always around. And the gardens / etc really make it feel tropical. 5 stars. Only minor complaint was the noise from the road but we were only 2 apts away from the road this time and a very light sleeper. Other rooms closer to the beach are quiet.

This is a wonderful little resort. Everyone has been friendly. Our room was wonderful. Bedroom living room bathroom and kitchen. Outside is a great sitting area with each unit having its own grill. We only stayed one night. The room was very clean. We stayed because of reviews saying it was a 70s kickback. It is but rooms remodeled and comfortable. But kept the 70s charm. Better then those big franchise hotels. Highly recommend this place.

From start to finish it was an amazing experience. The staff were extremely friendly and nice, especially Guy. He was a hoot and helped familarize us with the area and where the best places to eat and see were. The view was beautiful! They served fresh cookies every day, snorkeling and kayaking, supplied beach towels, room service every single day with a fresh supply of towels. Overall a wonderful experience. The only reason I didnt put 5 stars is because they dont serve coffee until 7:30am and we are pretty earlier risers. It would be nice to have had a coffee pot in the room or serve coffee earlier.

I have been here only once, so 4 stars to start; BUT I was pleasantly surprised by the place. Guy took great care of me on the phone before arrival, and he continued that during our stay! Couldnt have been nicer, and all there were kind, whether employees or guests. Just old style Florida Keys motel in the right place. We had a kitchen and a whole extra room (sister in law stopped by...). Also, enough nibbles for breakfast outside with coffee and fruit. The beach was small, but with chairs, and hammocks, and a tiki hut with a table. Nice dock to watch the sunset!Yep, for fear of getting busier with a good review, we WILL be back, again. Nice little gem in Key Largo.I will report only one negative: this being a small place, when someone/anyone smokes on the property, it goes everywhere; and smoking at the beach should NOT be allowed! Way disruptive of a relaxing environment while enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of the water and sunset, to be attacked by the stench of a cigarette. It hopefully wont keep me away, but it should be addressed. No fun that.

Best little cottages in the keys!! I’ve been there at least 10 times now and I have to say every time I go, I love it more and more. They have a little complimentary breakfast area, with muffins, frittatas, orange juice and coffee. It it a much more homey stay compared to the big hotels. Very quiet! Nice beach area with free kayaks and you can rent paddle boards for a cheap price! Will be back again and will continue to recommend!

Absolutely beautiful!! I am writing this from my sun bed whilst actually here. Our room is small but has a fridge and microwave, shops are just down the road. Even though it is straight off the main road it is very quiet and relaxed. They will lend you a kettle if you need one, they have bbqs you can use when you please. They also have kayaks you can use for free and you can hire a paddle board too. I would definitely stay here again x!**edit**Showers dont have much power. But there are lots of squirrels and lizards about the resort.

Seafarer is quaint, clean motel, a true island paradise.Took advantage of the free kayaks and cruised the bay to the mangroves. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset sitting at the dock.Juan is a polite and pleasant host.Will definitely come back again.

We stayed at the seafarer resort and beach because our usual place was remodeling and I am so glad we did. The seafarer resort was so clean, the rooms where large and the breakfast was an amazing added plus.The staff at the seafarer resort and beach go above and beyond to make you feel like home. They offer a continual breakfast with fresh baked muffins, homemade frittatas, fruit, coffee and juice! Kayaking is free and paddle boards are available as well.I wouldn’t hesate to stay here again, very clean and cute resort with amazing views!!

Its like a small paradise. Unfortunately the road gets loud at times. We were sad we had to leave after a single day. We could have easily spend 3 days there. Awesome place!

It was the most beautiful place I have ever been. The staff was great, the free breakfast was great, and it was quiet. I will most certainly be back every year. Not a single bad thing to say!

We love The Seafarer Resort. My family and I go there at the least, twice a year. The staff are fabulous and go above and beyond to make sure that you feel that you DONT want to leave and CANT wait to go back. The grounds are beautiful year round. The housekeeping staff keep the rooms nice and clean and you have everything you need, if youve forgotten anything they go out of their way to help. I cant say enough GREAT things about the RESORT and the STAFF. We are already planning on going back as soon as possible. If you stay once, youll definitely want to go back.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The room was pretty basic, but very clean/comfortable, and who wants to be inside anyway, when youre in such a beautiful place! The facility offers free kayaking, and the staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful.The only thing I was upset about is that I only stayed there one night, would definitely come back for more!

This is a wonderful resort! We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute there! The staff is amazing and friendly, the rooms are cute and clean! The beach is beautiful and we had fun taking the free kayaks out for an hour! There is free breakfast with muffins, quiche, orange juice, coffee, yougurt, and fruit. It is right across the street from Ballyhoos restaurant which has amazing food! It is a laid back resort and a much better option than the high rise hotels! We will be going back again!

Seafarer offers economy, ie clean rooms, basic breakfast, good parking and a friendly staff that are interested in providing you with a pleasant stay. Beach access, tables with umbrellas, beach chairs in a self service environment. Bring your own snacks, drinks and a light tackle fishing rod to cast off the small dock if inclined. Unique place.

Charming four unit resort, swimming pool, bikes to use on the island. Staff super friendly close to the beach and other amenities that the island has to offer.

Grounds are clean, outside colors nice, breakfast decent (warm muffins). However, the bed is so uncomfortable! Not even a headboard! Barely a trickle from the shower. We came to Scuba dive. All we needed was a nice shower and a comfortable bed...
