A classy place to set the ambiance for our daughters formal wedding two weeks ago. The gorgeous, giant chandelier in the ballroom, rich wood floors, walls, posts and all the decor made this the most memorable day of her life. The bridal suite and grooms quarters are perfect for getting ready. Having the mezzanine for cocktails took care of them until dinner.The staff was super to work with. Thank you Scottish Rite Cathedral!

Some of the stained glass in this building is breathtaking. The staff is friendly and polite. They also serve lunch here every day. Certainly a unique place to visit.

Scottish Rite is one of the most beautiful, historical landmarks in the city. It is a magnificent backdrop for any event, weddings in particular. Weve photographed countless weddings there, and all have looked quite different. The three different ballrooms offer completely different feelings from grand to intimate. You couldnt go wrong selecting this space for your special day.

This is a beautiful building. The architecture is outstanding. I was there for a concert, but the place gave me the creeps. It felt like I was always being watched.

I highly suggest the tour if available when you visit!

Very beautiful location. We saw a show here and the entire place was well kept and looked nice. It obviously gets cramped and slow when large numbers of people are coming and going, but thats to be expected. The biggest downside is that each floor only seems to have bathrooms for male or female.

Best place for the Masonic Family!

The Scottish rite cathedral is a very beautiful building with a very amazing history. My sister played in an orchestra with in one of the event rooms. Even with the loud orchestra music, the sound and acoustics made for great listening experience. They were performing many of the more popular Star wars themed songs.

IU event in the largest Masonic Temple in the US. Ornate wood and historic stain glass everywhere. There are tours available during day hours.

Nice quiet place to have lunch at. The food was good and the service was great.

The building on the outside was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately I stop by on the weekend so I was unable to go inside. I am definitely planning to stop back next time Im in town.

SRC has been my choice parking lot for over 10 years. Its safe, well-lit, and not far from the building I work at near the circle. When you enter the Cathedral, youre greeted by the guard in the security office to the left. In front of you there is a staircase that gives you a sense of excitement when you start ascending and hear the click-clack of your shoes... you enter the main level which is a very wide, open space. There are rooms every which way, and sometimes a guided tour to your right along the velvet rope. In this area of the Cathedral you begin to experience its history immediately. From the notches in the wood, to the illuminated photos of the structure framed elegantly and displayed with care. The SRC is a dream wedding spot for anyone willing to hand over a down payment on a house (not kidding), but with the right photographer and catering company, it is well worth the investment! (Just make sure your fiance is too!)
