Very beautiful place! We visited it both in the morning and at night. Every part of the monument has some beautiful details - would recommend visitors to take some time and enjoy the details of it. This area could be a bit confusing for pedestrians while cars and horses all get into the roads - it might be much better to set it a pedestrian only area.

It is a disgrace to see the circle taken over by bums and beggars. They are sleeping in front of the Circle theater entrance 4 and 5 at a time, hanging out on every corner, littering and trashing out wherever they lay and sit. Theyll be 2 feet from a trashcan and yet they will throw their trash on the ground. They constantly annoy, disgust, and scare people passing by. The Circle is the center piece of our city, a must see place for visitors who come from all over the country, yet what do they see? Practically a hobo jungle, full of drunks, drug addicts, criminals, and people with mental problems. Whatever happened to loitering laws? Littering laws? Public nuisance laws? There are nearby parks where they could go and hang out. They should not be allowed to trash out the heart of our city.

A 360°view of the whole city! A must see in downtown Indianapolis. There is a gift shop with lots of memorabilia and theyre reasonably priced. There is an obelisk stairs that go to the top and it takes 330 steps to get you to the topor you can pay $2 to take the elevator. If youve ever been in a lighthouse stairs, its pretty much the same.Beautiful scenery at night with horse and carriage rides around the city and lots of shopping outside as well as an indoor mall and restaurants. Nice walk and architectural designed buildings are amazing.

What an awesome monument. A must see for anyone visiting Indianapolis. The craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful and the view from the top is pretty nice. Good workout traveling the narrow staircase though. I’d recommend taking the elevator if you have a hard time going up stairs or are weary of narrow spaces.

The monument is enormous and beautiful to look at. We climbed to the top and really enjoyed the challenge. The views were good, but not absolutely breathtaking for me. I can’t help but compare these kinds of views to the Columbia center skyview observatory in Seattle and that’s hard to beat. Still really glad we did it, though! The staircase gets pretty tight at the top, so it can be a bit crowded, but the elevator wasn’t running which meant everyone was walking up and down, making a bit more congested than it might have been otherwise. The last several flights have space for one person side to side, while the flights below have room for about 2.

Beautiful monuments in the heart of Indianapolis. The brick streets surrounding it make it feel even more historic. There is plenty of pedestrian only area to walk around and truly enjoy the monuments. Parking was a little hard to find, but I drove straight into the circle, and I had never been there before. With some planning, Im sure its not too different. They have beautiful horses and carriages lined up waiting to take you for a scenic ride. I didnt have much time, but I cannot wait to go back.
