I have no idea why the harbour might be a point of touristic interest, but the view from the Aloha Tower on it is nice.

It has so much to offer you. Theres Aloha Tower, Restaurant Row and many places to eat and shop. Also, theres Chinatown and the main business district for the State of Hawaii (Downtown) along with many historical sights like Iolani Palace. Honolulu Harbor is the front door to the island of Oahu from days of our past history to the modern day as we know it. This is why the island of Oahu is named The Gathering Isle the earliest english version known by British ships called it Fair Haven. But Honolulu means Sheltered Harbor which everything as been built around making it the single most important partial of land known in the days of old Hawaii to present day which we now know as the State of Hawaii.Honolulu Harbor is rich in history with days of old hidden within its landscape mixed with modern day architecture moving forward but not forgetting our past.Trivia question for you and please respond with your answer in the comments section...... I mean... Its an industrial harbor. For, like, work boats so its not exactly a tourist paradise.

Its great to see these old buildings being repurposed and work with the contractors that are doing the work.

It is a very industrial area, a lot of shipping yards and fish markets. The smell isnt amazing. There is also very high security for meritime laws to be enforced.
