Nice older condos, reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and different craft activities done daily. Across the street is Coligny Plaza & Skillets restaurant and 1 1/2 blocks from the ocean. Access to 2 pools and hot tub onsite and 1 large pool with large deck and bar oceanfront.Overall wonderful place to stay and well worth the money.

Enjoyed a wonderful couple of days with good friends

Over all a good stay. Late night noise at pool though. Quiet hours should start at 10:00 pm and be enforced. We are early to bed,early to rise and our condo is poolside. Sunrise on the beach is wonderful! Our favorite staff member is Annie Mae! What a wonderful lady! We have known her for years and are proud to call her our friend. We recently stayed here... 5 adults, 1 bedroom room. The room itself was very nice (we definitely could have used another bathroom), the staff was very friendly, the location is amazing. The one complaint we all have is that the mattresses and pillows were terrible and there weren’t enough extra pillows for everyone. The kitchen supplies could be updated a bit but we made that work. We would stay again... if the mattresses were updated.

It was great from beds. Sound proof. Love my bathroom for both women could get ready same time. Close to beach. Wonderful office staff.

Room had major problems, ie., oven Didnt work, leak in bathroom ceiling, balcony door does not lock, mold or mildew in apartment. But, new furniture, mattresses.

Beautiful place, but the unruly children in the hot tub and pool were a big disappointment to me. It says you have security but they were never in the area. These children were cannonballing into the hot tub. Someone yelled from the pool at them but they only got more loud and more people jumped.

2 great pools, very clean and the loft was great because I didnt hear Michael snoring . The weather turned for the worse so we went shopping. No shortage of stores across the street.

Great place to come for a vacation. Bonnie in the front office is excellent. Cleaning staff sooo nice. My only complaint is I’d like to see the condo floors washed.

Very convenient to the beach, shopping and dining. The building is a bit dated and patched, but overall its a good place to stay. The 2 bedroom condos are very spacious.

Our unit was not very clean, no cleaning amenities (dish soap(. There were plenty of clean towels and the furniture newer but mattress terrible, twin.

We spent an amazing week at SeaCrest. The new upgrades to the rooms were beautiful!! The pools were beautiful and the customer service was amazing. Thank you Bonnie for engaging the entire family with fun crafts. I am counting the days until next vacation!!!!!

A very comfortable space. Pretty good size bedrooms. Kitchen is functional if small. Living room good for 4 people. Eating area are good for 6. Roomy bathrooms. Washer & dryer. Several closets. Great location. Right on the beach. Shops & restaurants in walking distance (literally across the street) . Unit was perhaps a bit dated and ready for a renovation. But otherwise it was perfect.

Wow, Im not sure where to start but for any of you that are looking to stay at this resort I would suggest that you find another spot the only nice thing about this place was it was right across the street from Coligny but know that wherever you stay on the south end of the island will be within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants.We checked in on June 8, my family invited my husband and I to stay with them this week, I feel so bad for them because they were so embarrassed about the conditions of the unit they own, and on top of that the staff who checked us in were rude and acted like we was bothering them, loud and uncaring. Especially the lady who I believe was named Bonnie or Connie the other girl appeared to be lost and unsure what she was suppose to be doing.We asked to speak with the Manager but I guess, she was to busy to come out in speak with us, so we was left with the girls out front who were worthless. I am personally in the hospitality industry, I am a manager and those 2 ladies would have been terminated immediately, if that meant, I would have to cover the check-in shift myself.On top of that the office was dirty, very unclean and that office represents what we could expect the unit to look like. If management doesnt care about keeping the front office clean, then they arent going to care what the units look like either.After what we went through at check-in, I was hoping it would get better but it only got worse. When we walked into the unit, it smelled of mold, and if it smells like mold, I knew we would find mold, and we did.We found mold on the ceiling in the hallway entrance, the bathrooms, mold inside the dresser drawers in the master bedroom and every vent in the unit was black. it was filthy, and when I say filthy I mean it, the floors were black, the fridge, dishwasher, and stove was rusty, dirty dishes were in the cabinets, food under the stove top and the inside of the oven smelled and had crumbs and BBQ sauce smeared all over the inside.Not to mention, after I started to unload our luggage there was hair all over the bed and food wrappers and soda cans under the beds.Needless to say, my husband and I could not stay there due to the mold was so bad, lucky for us, we were able to get a room at the Holiday Inn and we are loving it.Although, my Sister who owns the unit at Sea Crest Surf and Racquet Club was admitted into the hospital in less than 24 hours of checking into this nasty unit, due to respiratory issues caused by the mold. The hospital Doctor who is treating my Sister has warned us to not take her back into that unit upon her release, and gave us everything we need to move forward by taking legal action.Vacations are suppose to be fun and this vacation is the worse weve ever been on and it started in the office and less than 24 hours my loved one has been hospitalized. This resort is a complete nightmare, and If you value your family, do not step foot on this property.We noticed mice and/or rat traps in the units under the bunk-beds that are in the hallway and dead roaches in the frame of the glass sliding door. What else is lurking in these units?This place needs to be torn down and something nice and beautiful built in its place and definitely needs a new manager who cares about the guest and knows the true meaning of what hospitality is, and needs a new staff who knows their job and wants to welcome the guests and go out of their way to make sure the guests are happy.Like I said before those ladies in the front office do not appreciate their job, management should see that, and terminate them and replace them with people who want to work and has the understanding of what the true meaning of hospitality consist of.

Great beach access when using sister location. Near a lot for easy walkability. Resort is older; but updated and well maintained.

Completely repulsed after my stay. COCKROACHES!! EGGS, BABIES, EVERYWHERE!! Definitely disappointed.

Check In sign is hidden for main office! Staff nice! Rooms are dated. Mattress need updating! Pool closed during whole stay?!?! Conveniently located from beach and stores.

A block from the beach. Nice updated apartment heated out door pool year round. Small full kitchen with most of what you need. Full size stove, mic and fridge.

My family has been coming here for years so it always feels like home away from home. Its a short walk to the beach. Seacrest has two pools and a nice hot tub (that usually works lol) and also gives you access to the pools at the seacrest on the beach. I love it here!

No help in a hit and run in the parking lot with my motorcycle. Called the office and were told there were no cameras when actually theres one pointed at the exact spot my bike was parked.

Ive been coming here since I was a child. Yes, the condos are dated, but every year we get new upgrades. Perfect location for groceries, shopping, and dining. Very relaxing, not a lot of commercial entertainment, which I enjoy not dealing with. Several fantastic memories made here. I am a dedicated patron of all the small businesses in Coligny and look forward to returning each year!!!

Location is amazing! Weve gone many times and youre within walking distance to Coligny Plaza and Coligny Beach. Some general remodeling and more thorough maid service and itll get a 5, but considering we spend more time enjoying the island, this doesnt dampen our stay.

This place has BED BUGS! This was our first family trip after being owners here. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I took time stamped photos of bugs, bedding, and bites we obtained from being there the week. I called the office over 10 times and emailed more than 4 times to notify them and ask what would be done. After finally calling and reaching someone I was told we cant confirm this was bed bugs we had our maintenance people check. No pest control would be called or anything! We had to leave things behind and wash EVERYTHING in fear of taking these bugs back home with us! Still we have not heard anything back from Sea Crest. Vacation from hell.

Older facility but convenient & clean.

I would give this place ZERO stars!! We own a condo here and upon arrival on 9/22/18 we immediately noticed that the upstairs loft was completely infested with bed bugs! We were then moved to 4 other rooms and all had bed bugs as well! I have videos and pics to prove this, but can not attach them to this post! I would be happy to share with anyone who doesn’t believe me considering all of the “good” reviews. We will NEVER go back here, and are selling our loft! Visitors beware!!

Owned a timeshare here for last 15-20 years. Place is nice- maintenance staff is AMAZING (Derick is phenomenal- even went by to see him when I lived on island). Its a bit older and recently (last few years have had spotty to no connection- not ok when needing to keep up with business). There are nicer places you can find to rent on island but as far as for proximity to beach and grocery shopping (literally right across the street) and shopping at Coligny Plaza- you wont find a better place...

Great Location and maintenance was Johnny on the spot. 3 very nice pools. I had the 1 bedroom loft. It is an older building that has had a lot of renovations. It would only take a few things to make this a 4-5 star resort for me. 1. Mattress and box springs. 2. Washer & Dryer. 3. Dish soap. 4. Dishwasher in working order. 5. No charge for towel exchange. 6. Non stick pots and pans. 7. Electronic card reader for entrance to the room.

Sea Crest has the best location on the island, and a variety of four pools to choose from, including the two beach pools (kiddie and regular). A three minute walk to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, and shops is such a plus!! Yes, it is outdated, but always very clean in my experience. The grounds are well maintained and we appreciate the grill and picnic area outside for a night or two to eat in. We have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next trip!

Great location, walking distance to just about everything you need.

My mother inlaw has been coming here for a few years now and she said that they have been going down hill the last few years. We had nothing but problems this year. Her normal room wasnt ready, they gave no notice to her. The rooms werent clean, towels were stained and gross, rooms smelled musty, theres broken glass under the bed, and the pools were ice cold. The shower head is not for anyone over 5 ft 5in. There stains on the bed as well. The deck by the ocean is old and worn. You cant see the ocean from this location, but the one across the street (same name) has a veiw of the ocean. Best part is the beach bar, it has awesome wraps and other food. If it wasnt for my mother-in-law letting us use her time share I would have checked in somewhere else.

The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. Had a small maintenance issue with the stove but got it fixed right away. Ask the staff about the best places to eat.

Here is my summary of the pros and cons of Sea Crest Surf & Racquet Club.Pros:- fantastic location, less than 3 minute walk to the beach and directly across the beach from Coligny (shopping, restaurants, grocery store, ice cream, etc.)- access to a 3rd pool across the street at Sea Crest. This pool is great with a pool bar. Pool Bar Jim is now at this pool bar. Great drinks. Another benefit is if youre at the beach with little ones and need a bathroom, you can access the restrooms with your access code at this Sea Crest pool.- Roomy 2 bedroom with 2 1/2 bathroomsCons:- Older resort, building is older- Rooms are dimly lit, makes for a dark/tunnel like feel when you walk in- Noisey hallways can be distracting at times

Peaceful! This place is walking distance to the beach, and Coligny Plaza.

Not worth the money... All equipment is outdated (keys, tv, etc), the bed is falling apart, light switch doesnt work. Charges for everything, $5 for towels, $4.50 for laundry, etc. I get waken up early due to loud construction noise outside my window, and loud partying sounds from a nearby frat house late at night. Pros: Heated pool is really nice on cold days, hot tub is nice. Rooms are big, kitchen is nice with a full size fridge. Patio is nice. Nice location with a short walk to the beach and several shops. Most of the staff were nice. Overall not horrible but I would not stay here again.

I stayed there the week of July 7th to the 14th, I cant even put into words how pleasant it was to stay here.... Close to the beach, Piggly Wiggly across the street... I didnt venture out anywhere past that little area... I will be going back again. The condos were clean...loved the kitchen. I was sad to leave!

I would give 1/2 star if I could and only 1/2 star because the roof didnt leak!

Location is great, right across from Coligny plaza and the beach, has great pool access and is kid friendly. The rooms could be a little nicer and more modern. But we are regulars here at this guest resort.

The staff was friendly although we will not be staying out our week. We are just not comfortable. Did have a few maintenance issues that were immediately taken care of. We didnt expect to see this place so outdated. We stood in 3 inches of water while showering. Can not see in the bedroom because the lighting is so dim. If you dont mind decor out of the 60s then this place is for you. Our elevator shook and scraped and banged all over. Our rooms wifi did not work. Over all the unit was clean but just so drab. Not my idea of a 4 star rating.

Poor housekeeping and maintenance in the rooms. Diane/Diana in the office, totally unpleasant and rude. Shes been that way for the 6 yrs Weve stayed here. Other guests agree on all of the above, that Weve talked to.

My friends parents have a time-share at Sea Crest. Weve been here for four days so far, and Ive enjoyed our stay here. During the day, we enjoy walking to the beach, which is just a short 5 minute walk from our room. We are able to grab groceries and any cocktail needs from across the street, plus there are a couple restaurants (sit down and quick) included in the Caligny Plaza as well.We rented bikes from just around the corner and the bike racks in front of the resort have made them an incredible convenience for traveling around and exploring Hilton Head.In the evenings, we enjoy playing videogames. The TV is HDMI compatible, so we were able to bring our consoles and play them freely. (Big plus from us!)And of course, the staff in the office has been wonderfully friendly. We asked about restaurants for one of our birthday dinners, and one of their recommendations was wonderful. We had a maintenance issue that was fixed within a couple hours of our call.I have been quite satisfied with my stay. They even include Dishwasher tablets and a scrub sponge amongst other items to help clean for the week.

My family and I have been spending our summer vacation at the Sea Crest Surf & Racquet Club for the past 10 years and my wifes family for 30. The grounds are always kept clean and the staff is very friendly. The location cant be beat.

I love this place. Because its really fun to spend more time with your family and friends.

Pros: Nice management, great location, heated pool, big units...Cons: Many things outdated, lacking some nicer things (TVs are small, and no garden tub), no washer and dryer in unit, walls are like paper, $5 to get fresh towels, $4.50 per load of laundry...Other thoughts: if I had a choice, I would not stay here again, however, it serves its purpose...
