This is a great place 2 stay! Kid friendly. Walking access to anything. Only complaint was the bed wasnt very comfortable

My husband, 2 girls (age 11 and 14) and I had a wonderful stay here! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was updated with beautiful fixtures and was immaculate. We had everything we needed (pots, paper towels, utensils, pool towels). The resort was near everything and we had a 10 minute walk to the beach. The snack bar by the pool was great! In the era of covid they were very careful with masks in the lobby etc. I would definitely stay here again. Wonderful relaxing vacation!

Good location, good rooms, nice amenities. The resort is located just under a half a mile from the beach when walked, so walking isnt bad, even with 3 kids in tow under the age of 6. The room we stayed in wasnt directly attached to the main resort, so we had to drive to the larger pool and to the lobby, which wasnt as ideal.There was a pool near our unit, but the only way to get to them was through our unit on the back side by going down a very steep spiral staircase. Though I didnt mind it, its not ideal either since you have to walk through carpet with your wet bathing suit and feet to get back to the bathroom to change. When you have three kids in tow, this makes for a very soggy and not extremely enjoyable experience.The size of the unit is good, though it appears to be former condos that have been added to the resort. the rooms havent been updated in a while so they are a little bit dated and they arent as nice from a quality standpoint but having a full kitchen and multiple bedrooms is very nice when it comes to having a larger family.With younger kids the steps up to the unit and the spiral staircase leading to the pool are both not very ideal especially with wet feet. But aside from those things since the location is within walking distance to the more popular area of Hilton Head and the main pool we have to drive to is very large and nice for the kids, we would probably stay here again.

Great rooms, but unprofessional bartender and kitchen staff, information help was worthless.

We enjoyed our stay, we just hoped for a cleaner room for the price we paid. Carpets desperately need to be cleaned, there was food dried on our utensils and cookware, lent was full in the dryer, floors needed to be moped. The property is beautiful and the walk to the beach was nice. We loved the free trolley service! Pools were excellent!

Unit was clean, easy walk to the beach and shopping, The pool was clean and pretty. The private patio was much larger than the pictures. Just wish the tiki hut hours were better! Not sure if it was Covid related, but no food after 3:30 and completely closed by 6:00! And this was over a weekend! Quiet, relaxing, awesome weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent! We absolutely loved our time here! Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was an ample amount of pool and bath towels provided. Our room was a short walk to the beach and a grocery store near by. The pools were very clean and super enjoyable! Nothing but great things to say. Loved our time here and will definitely be back!

Great place. Clean, wonderful pool and lazy river. Great food at the bar. Brought little kids (5&3) and had a blast! Planning on coming back next year!

Beautifully decorated condos. Wonderfully landscaped with so much to do. Great pool and kiddie pool, grills and picnic tables and on site fishing (catch and release).So beautiful that we bought into the vacation club in order to stay more often

Nice place to stay. Needs some updates. Walls were the old style stucco type, some of the doors did not close without some effort. Overall, great area, just needs some Interior updates.

The rooms, bathrooms were clean. The kitchen appliances, dishes, sheets were all very clean.The beds, pillows were extremely comfortable. Would definitely vacation with them again.

Very nice units and very friendly staff. I cant say Ive ever been anywhere where I won some gift certificates! Many others did too at the poolside picnic and entertainment event.Resort is conveniently located near dining, shopping and beach. Fist time here but would definitely come back.

Exactly what we needed. Room was bigger than we anticipated, very close to the beach, love the pool. Had to call maintenance because the dishwasher wouldn’t drain, they came out and had it fixed while we were gone within a couple hours on a Sunday.

This was perfect for us. Short bike ride to the beach. Awesome pool with a lazy river, hot tub, and kids pool. 3 bedroom condo which is kinda hard to find at a resort for a decent price. Right next door is a bilo. Everything was great.

I checked in and room was 80 degrees it took until next day for ac to get down to 72...I took it in as ac was off and it was hot but day 2 was same exact thing. Temp in room is 80 degrees and its still set to 72. The ac unit obviously way to old to keep up. That alone is reason enough to stay away from this place. It is good location and farely close to beach and shops. It is way off path to the main resort and pool, you need transportation to get there it would be a terrible walk. Not impressed at all so far...will continue to update

My family is here for my daughters birthday. After a long day of festivities, we went to get the pull out couch set up for her to go to sleep. As we begin to pull it up, we realized that the entire sofa is broken. The whole bar on the right side of the bed detached from the bed, and screws everwhere.I immediately called Maintenance, and they told me there was nothing they could do, due to it being in the 2100 hour.Ultimately, my daughters slept in the bed, and I didnt sleep due to lack of space. Three leggy bodies, in a queen sized bed doesnt quite work. Needless to say, Im a bit furious, and sleep deprived, right now.Also, I am unable to lock my front window due to the lock; its also broken.

Very nice and clean accommodations. Large pool, lazy river, water spray fountains, large hot tub and baby pool. Inside game room and an outdoor snack and pool bar.

Lazy river was nice, a few cockroaches around the resort and one in the unit. Freezer didnt work all week. Activities were good. Walls are very thin - sometimes hard to sleep.

All of the employees of this resort that I encountered were very nice. Whole place was very clean and convenient to most attractions

Clean rooms, lots of amenities, activities almost every day for kids, updated southern decor, great pool area, hot tub, heated pool (in another area from kids area, snack/drink bar in pool area, across the street from Coligny Plaza, next shopping center down is a Bi-Lo grocery store. Convenience, convenience, convenience, along with upper end class!

Loved this place. Our accommodations were great. Our guests each had their own rooms. Liked the coastal decor. Would definitely stay again. I would recommend it to family and friends. See Ruth Ann at the concerieg desk for activities. We enjoyed our 2 hour boat tour. Captain Dave was very knowledgeable about the sights on the island. The Dafueskie island trip was fun. Our Captain Justin on the Vagabond ship was nice and we learned a lot about the coastal water ways. Had a great day.

Nice resort, clean, nice area, 15 minute walk to beach for seniors.

I really enjoyed my weekend here. I looked up this resort on TripAdvisor and the suites looked so dated and old. Well to my surprise our suites were in the new building. We stayed in suites 401 and 402.The suites were elegant and modern. The pictures dont do the rooms justice.Granite counters, stainless steel refrigerator. The bathrooms had double sinks. I had a huge dresser for my clothes. Dining and living room.The big plus was the washer and dryer!!!We didnt make it to the two pools but they looked very nice. I will definitely be visiting Coral Sands Resort in the near future.

Fantastic resort and its within driving distance from all the tourists attractions

This resort is very quiet and nice. Your stay will be very relaxing. The villas were very spacious and relatively new. There are several local shops and restaurants that are within walking distance to the resort. The BEST thing is Coligny Beach is only a 12 min walk or a 5 min bike ride. The sunset is simply amazing!

I love staying in the new condos. The lazy river is probably my grandkids favorite part.

Pools were nice!!! We had 3 bedroom which was nice and clean.

This lazy river was one of the best parts of this resort. It had the best current and the water was warm. The rest of the pool area was nice but the hot tub wasn’t working. Rooms were good! Wish it was a little closer to the beach but the walk was short.

Awesome resort on Hilton head island. Short walk to beach, shopping, dining. Resort was very clean. Service at check-in was a breeze. Coligny just across the street grocery, dining, shopping . Just out of the resort next door is a wild wings cafe, a Bi-Lo grocery, pizza, Mexican. Ect.ect.ect. Just park your car,pick up a bike, or golf cart rental..and enjoy Hilton Head Island.

This place was really pretty, and close to everything. Only complaints were check in is guaranteed at 4pm, our room wasnt ready until after 5pm. There was lipstick on one of the clean glasses in the cabinet, and there were hairs on the toilet.

Great location. Spotlessly clean. Spacious rooms. Thick thirsty towels. Six of us shared 3 bedroom 2 bath suite comfortably. Definitely plan on returning.

Place looks nice, but I unfortunately had to cancel due to the global pandemic. Hotel informed me that despite the extenuating circumstances and worldwide travel restrictions, its business as usual and wouldnt refund me. Perhaps they arent obligated to but I found it a bit disingenuous and lacking empathy. Airbnb was issuing full refunds. So for that reason, and I go to Hilton Head often, but I cant see myself giving this property another chance or supporting this type of company.

Picture is outside our patio; Ive seen a ton of pictures on the net so no wasting space on that. We had a 3 bedroom and it was nicely kept and clean. The grounds were well kept and the resort is located near beach access with a 10 minute walk if you are healthy. We had a beach buggy loaded and had no issues. There is a free shuttle with the driver working for tips which we used to go shopping. He picked us up right outside our building. Two pools made it great for the kids and the location is awesome with grocery, shops, restaurants all in walking distance. After a week we only moved the car 4 times! WE WILL BE BACK and recommend to anyone.

Nothing bad, but nothing great. Rooms are nice and super clean, but a bit dated. Amenities are OK, but are just the basics. Location is relatively continent, but there are tons of places closer to the beach and other attractions.

Spending the week here and were enjoying our stay. The condo is large, clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Close to the beach and everything else is within walking distance. The heated pool is a goldmine with kids! Coral sands is a must-try experience. #islandlife

This property is made up of 2 halves. The front half is next to the clubhouse and pool. It looked very nice. We stayed in the East section. It was older and not as well maintained. To get to the pool/clubhouse from our area, you had to walk through a number of parking lots, along a dirt road, find a path next to a dumpster, open 2 gates that sometimes did not open, and cross another parking lot. Our building E had a nice view of the road. The building near ours had a view of an old run-down tennis court. I think the resort is fine for families with older teens. I would not recommend staying in the East area with young children.

I stayed at this resort with a group of friends, it was nice & clean. The only thing I didnt like was check in was at 4pm & check out at 10 am & they wanted the wrist bands back for the use of the amenities so they can reuse. Other than that it was a good experience & nice stay.

Condos were on point, new building. Rooms were very clean nice kitchen ans bathrooms. Nice place to stay. The reason Im rating it a four star instead of five is because the elevators did not work when we stayed Memorial weekend and we stayed on the third floor. Mostly likely not the hotels fault though because the elevator guy was called and should of fixed it when he came two days in a row.

Very pleased with this resort for our first stay on HHI. Location is excellent with close proximity to beach, shops, restaurants, etc. The pool is nice and the lazy river is a great way to unwind after a day of activities. Was considering Marriott as well, but opted with Coral Sands. Glad I did, would stay here again.

We loved our stay here! It was so fun and a perfect get away! There are lots of places to eat right there and the beach is only a short walk away. We def want to go back there sometime. The rooms were so clean and spacious and we had a really nice time. The only real complaints were that the pool was not lit at night (like in the water pool lights) and the hot tub wasnt hot (its really large though). It was great though.

Great place with alot to do, Golfing Tennis, drinking, eating, and swimming. Alot of wildlife hanging around. WiFi is spotty though!

Totally disappointed. There were no rolling waves crashing, its like the inland waterway in NC. There is no view of the Atlantic ocean. There is tree moss and alligators.

This is a review about Coral Sands North. Although it is not on the ocean front, this is an excellent resort. It is barely 5 minutes walk (or free shuttle) to Coligny beach, has several restaurants and grocery stores close by, and offers very nice facilities including a great pool (lazy river was best) and a business center for that urgent matter that one must deal with even during vacation. The units are very spacious, spanking new, and classy. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit which was very good. Their starter kit (detergent etc) was very decent, and the kitchen was well equipped and pretty much everything was almost new. Would come again!

The resort was nice. The rooms were spacious and cute, but we had little brown bugs in the bathroom.Another issure we had was being charged for stuff that they said was missing. Every room we were in was charged at minimum $100 for missing towels/blankets. When they were called they couldn’t tell us exactly what was missing out of each room though.It was nice at a great price, but we were definitely gotten over on when it came to the overall cost.

Great family vacation spot. The pool could be bigger but the lazy river more than makes up for that. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. There is also a grocery store nearby.

We were put in the older section and older condo building unlike last year. Not nearly as nice and a long walk to the main pool. Be careful making reservations and request the new section. Probably best to call rather than make a reservation online!

Very beautiful place

Pool was awesome kids loved it! Fun activities during the stay was added bonus. Internet was by far the best Ive ever seen at a resort! Rooms were spacious and very clean. Just left and we are already talking about scheduling another stay.

The suite was everything we expected. Staff was professional and cordial. Would have given it a 5, but there were a few small maintenance issues. A couple bulbs were a little wanky and there were some issues with the stove top and fan. Made burgers and had to open the balcony door to let the smoke out of the place it was a little too much. Pool area is nicer than it looks in the photos, but the bar never opened. May only be open during summer season, not sure, we stayed from Tuesday till Saturday and it was never opened. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay here and would come back again.

Its nice place of vacation for everybody. The staffs are friendly and nice. The beach, restaurants and stores are just few minutes walk. We enjoyed our stay here and definitely will be back here the next time we visit Hilton Head Island.

The pool has shut down twice in 3 days already. But when they are open they are good. Our room has been very good and its fairly modern looking.

Totally lied 2 bout wat it waz & was totally bullied & badgered in 2 tryna purchase it (X - Share basically)!!! ALSO NEVR GOT wat we were promised,& they said it waz about a 45 min thing....turnd in 2 a 3 &1/2 ordeal once the badgering stopped AND WE had 2 drive the damn guy there & bakk!!!

It was close to beach and restaurants. Also close to many activities. There was construction being done on roads getting to some of the rooms but otherwise it was very nice. My family totally enjoyed their time in Hilton Head. My grandchildren loved the pool, lazy river and the shuttles to the beach.

Its ok, clean and up to date but nothing special and definitely no ocean view. Beach is about a 15 minute walk. It is located in a good spot on the island as far as access to food and shopping. But when at the beach, I want to see the water and sand...also bathroom is down the hall from the bedroom in the unit we had. Just underwhelming with what is available today.

About a 2 minute drive from a great parking lot next to the beach. Room was phenomenal and clean. Theres also a rec center with some games, puzzles, ping pong, foosball. Kids pool. Lazy river loop. Adult pool. Jacuzzi. I highly recommend this location of you want a great experience NOT directly on the beach.

Quiet, good location, and new furniture make this a comfortable space. The shower is very small and has no safety bar.

Great clean and accommodating place to stay.

The resort was very lovely, the amenities were stellar, and our room was very nice. I did have a couple of pain points: There werent very many lamp poles which made night driving an absolute chore. To be fair, this was the case for the entire island, but it was still annoying. Also, it would be nice if they could provide a more accurate map for navigating the resort. It took us nearly an hour to find our room (we arrived at night) and the map we were provided was not drawn to scale. The rooms didnt have addresses, so we couldnt use GPS. Other than those points I had an excellent time.

They dont deserve 1 star. Run from this place! Very dirty and the customer service was terrible! I should have listened to the reviews! Its all true!!!! When we checked in at the front desk, I asked a question about the paper I had to sign. The girl answered the question. Then I asked about about these fines. Here to find out the girl answered wrong!! I could have been fined 2 hundred dollars!

Beautiful and quiet community. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The condo was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the amenities are great! Great location near shopping, grocery stores, restaurants and easy access to the beach. The only thing that could make it better is if it were beachfront (which would probably be one with a much steeper price). We really enjoyed our stay here!!

Full bar with food available at the pool . 4 blocks from beach access with public parking . Close to restaurants and grocery stores. We stayed for 3 nights. Bring your bikes - paved walkways and everyone travels by bike.

Check in was easy but need to get past an annoyance afterward when they hit you with a timeshare meeting sales pitch. After getting past that, we were very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful room. Looks to be just a few years old and the room was clean and well maintained. The pool is fantastic and kids just loved it. Location is great and close to tons of food and shopping and a short walk over to the beach. We did have one issue when we checked in and front desk was fantastic and took care of us ASAP. I think we found our new Hilton Head spot.

Been to lots of resorts, this one rates up there.
