Very clean place to visit. I stayed here for 4 days with my son who was here for an entire month. The 2 pools and 2 jacuzzis were nice. So were the chairs and umbrellas on the beach. In November during Covid restaurant at pool wasnt open.

Great amenities, weight room, lazy river, heated pool, jacuzzi, 2 kids water play areas (1 heated), pool side bar (in season), rentals of beach chairs, umbrellas, small beach tables, paddle boards, and kayaks (some rentals include free daily rentals of 2 chairs and an umbrella, as well as a paddle board or a kayak). Staff is great, all have been friendly and helpful. Units are spacious and clean, complex has direct beach access, and is walking distance from several restaurants and bars, plus 2 gentlemans clubs, with a liquor store across the street, gas station a few hundred yards away, multiple surf/beach shops walking distance, and Publix grocery less than 5 min drive back across the bridge to the island. Absolutely nothing to complain about, cant help but to have a lot of fun and/or enjoy some R&R.

Lovely place with a few flaws. Great for families. The upper pool is nice once it got heated. We stayed in A119, which is a very nice unit in a great location. No view, but it makes up for it in convenience and accomodation.

Florida never fails to remove all my stress, Beautiful resort private beach,pool hot tubas and kids splash pad if you have kiddos. VERY Family friendly id recommend trying it out

This place was nothing like pictures online. I have shown what rooms look like after an extensive cleaning we were very disappointed.This is room 101 at summerset

Excellent vacation spot. Inclusive enough to not need to leave the compound for any water related activities. The grills are always clean, homes are well appointed and strictly kept to the highest standards. This has become our new family getaway location.

Awesome for kids. Great waterpark. Clean and quiet room. Very spacious room. Kitchen could have used a few more items. We will definitely stay again!

This year was our first time staying in Fort Walton Beach and at Waterscape. Absolutely loved the resort. The pool area was clean and well maintained, the room was clean, and the access to the beach was convenient. My son did have a reaction to some of the pool chemicals in the pool on the 2nd floor. Not sure what happened but he is used to chlorine and swims daily throughout the year -- this is why I am going with 4 stars. We will be back and look forward to our next trip to Okaloosa Island.

A301 is a clean, and beautiful condo with fresh and bright ocean decor in each room. Gorgeous oceanside view. Well stocked kitchen, ample supply of beach chairs and floatation devices in closet. Owners are easy to communicate with. Jon, one of the employees at the pool area was so helpful and friendly as was the maintenance man who helped me start the grill poolside. I highly recommend Waterscape

Not the nicest place to stay. But it got the job done. The unit we stayed in could use some up keeping and repairs. The hall bath has a broken mounting bolt on the toilet, shower curtain rod is broke and hanging on by threads, the main tv is on its way out and picture is horrible (I know we’re at a beach resort and shouldn’t be watching tv but we have a small child that wants to watch cartoons and what not in the morning), curtains and couches have questionable stains, and there were dead bugs laying around. It’s a decent place to rest and recharge for more beach activities but in no way is it a desirable get away spot. But then again we only get to see one room so others may be nicer.

Fantastic resort!! Great waterfront and pool, condos are spacious and well kept, will stay here again 10/10

Currently staying at Waterscape. Arrived Monday and there was no hot water. Someone came that evening and “reset” the water heater. We had hot water for about 12 hours and then no hot water again. Called Tuesday evening and was told someone would call us back. Nobody called. Called again Wednesday morning and was again told someone would call us back. It has been a couple of hours and again no one has called us back. This has been very disappointing as we have no hot or even warm water to shower, cook, wash clothes, or clean dishes with. We have stayed at Waterscape before and did not have this type or experience.The view from the room of the ocean and pool is amazing, but this has been frustrating.

Excellent access to pool and beach. Perfect for families!

Waterscape Unit C301 managed by Brooks and Shorey was a great unit layout and location, however, it was clearly evident that it was not cleaned and bugs (mainly roaches) were discovered. I contacted B&S about the uncleanliness and roaches to which they credited me back the cleaning fee and told me that pest control would come to spray for the pests. We never saw pest control and we continued to see the disgusting roaches. Also, on-site management should also monitor the hot tubs to keep young children out so adults can enjoy. This was extremely frustrating as we could not enjoy a little hot tub relaxation. I understand this is a kid-friendly resort (I have children too), but this needs to be controlled much better. We love the Okaloosa Island area and always enjoy our time there, but we WILL NOT stay at Waterscape again and will probably use someone other than Brooks and Shorey to schedule our future trips.

My boyfriend and I stayed in a 6th floor condo for 4 days and it was amazing we booked 2 more our power was out during the hurricane so they moved us over to building A they were very accommodating we will definitely be going back!

Right on the beach, beautiful condos, very clean, nice staff. The pools and grills are cleaned daily. Lots of fun for kids and adults.

Waterscape is our favorite beach getaway! This room was excellent. Great location, view and layout. Only exception was the beds. Not very comfortable.

Room was not bad, but not great either... no wow factor. The resort in general was nice and all amenities were well kept. The gym was a little on the chinchy side It definitely needs to be bigger with better equipment.

Just that they need updated coffee pot. And the room where we was at alot of sirens.. overall it was great. Having to walk a long ways to the beach was horrible.

Beautiful and tons of things to do. McGuires is a must do 10 minutes away

This was our second time to stay in this condo and it certainly did not disappoint! Beach views..great outside pools for the kids..clean environment!

A200-rundown needs attention! Furniture in every room is broken, couches are dirty, bunk beds are wobbly, queen bed was very uncomfortable, dishwasher is not screwed to cabinet, patio furniture just cheap plastic with no table and windows are dirty. Positive - ceiling fans and ac worked. There were adequate dishes and utensils in kitchen. The pools are nice but need to be cleaned more than weekly. Sunday there was only one lifeguard for 4 pools and the lazy river didn’t open up until around 9 and floats not unlocked until around 10. There are 10 grills and the guy keeps them clean so that’s nice. Maintenance guy Jerry was super nice and he fixed our broken dining chair and blown fuse in the bunk room. Vacasa customer service is definitely a problem.. it’s a family friendly atmosphere so don’t plan a “romantic” vacation at this resort.

The DVD rental broke the first night. The elevators have seen better days for sure. The umbrella setup is the biggest disappointment of all, because of the shape of the setup, people can set their own umbrellas and chairs right in the other customers view. Its quite sad. Oh, and there are maybe 6 grills for the ENTIRE resort, and 2 are broken.

Very nice condos, lots for kids to do!!

This is by far the best condos we have ever stayed.We came across Waterscape 4 years ago, when looking for accommodations for kids, and they have not disappointed.This is the go to for any family with little ones. The rooms are large, with plenty of amenities for the family, from a full kitchen, to multiple rooms and bathrooms. The walk to the beach is a breeze, and the pools, well these are the best part!I highly recommend Waterscape to anyone, especially for those with small children. You are our go to while we are in FL!

Beautiful condo/resort! A couple of big pools- one heated the other not. A lazy river and two hot tubs! Lots of seating/lounge chairs. Nice work out facility. Easy and convenient and close beach access with lots of chairs. Friendly staff that always seem to be around and are always helpful. Nice little snack/drink bar!

Great location and decent pricing. 2 bedroom 2.5 baths and bunk beds cost $1600 last week of May. Lots to say about this place. Great family atmosphere, great location, clean for the most part (few tiny things werent clean). However, we will not be staying here again bc they police the place to death with rules and regulations and the beach is super overcrowded with beach chairs EVERYWHERE! It says private beach area but its more crowded than the public beaches bc of the chairs. Not a horrible trip but we want a little more freedom and definitely more space for the price. Pets are welcomed and the pools were very clean.

Great place for families! Excellent location by the pier and a quick Uber/Lyft ride to the Destin Boardwalk. The resort style pool is great for all ages. Music and drinks are allowed at the pool. The poolside tiki bar (fudpuckers) was great for a quick bite to eat and/or cocktails (prices were cheaper than we thought they would be). Gas grills located throughout the pool areas to use at your convenience (we went to Publix to grab burgers and hotdogs): there is a splash pad for the younger kids, adult style (less crowded) pool beside that, a pool located on the level below with a zero entry side, island with a net and lily pads to cross over on, and lastly a lazy river.

B404 was Awesome, grounds are well kept, beach is great, staff was very nice and friendly, close to several restaurants and attractions within walking distance. We will be back !!

A bit overpriced for what you get. You can stay in much nicer condos for 75% of the cost. If you dont need the fancy pool(which is very nice), youll get more for your money elsewhere.

Great place for kids and adults. We came on spring break and had a blast. There are multiple pools, huge private beach areas, chairs, umbrellas, and lots to do. Theyre is a restaurant, AJs, across the street with live music that you can take the kids to or just go out for the night. Id recommend this place to anyone traveling with kids.

This place is showing its age a bit, but its still a nice destination. Its nice to walk out onto the beach, which like most of this stretch of Florida lovely if awfully crowded. And the pools are great, especially for young kids. The only complaint I had on our visit was the elevators were entirely too slow when you have a crew of cold, wet kiddos. Im not 100 percent certain well return here, but not because of the accommodations. I just think maybe our kids are ready for more adventurous beach fare, which is more easily accessible in greater variety down the road in Destin. But if what youre looking for is lots of beach and pool time, and you have younger kids, I think this is a super spot to consider.

Great pool, lots of space on the beach. Very open and safe. Rooms are very nice! Great set up and easy access between the parking garage, beach, pool, and room so you never have to walk super far. Lots of room in the hot tubs and pools!

Been making Destin our family destination spot for the last 16 years...we finally discovered Waterscape in 2009 and have been coming back every summer since. i thought its overdue to leave a review. Waterscape is beautifully landscaped, nicely located on the beaches. all units are tastefully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. the pool area was very well thought out. lazy river, beach entry pool and a separate pool for the toddlers is just amazing. This is where other hotels, resorts, have failed (the Pool area). that is the majority of where my time is spent if not on the beach. Someone is always at the front desk, its close to stores and restaurants. easy to get to without all the hustle and bustle of Destin traffic.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, friendly folks staying here. If youre looking for a nicer place, little higher quality this is it. What you should know is that several rental companies have units here. I can say that they are all good but we found Coastal Vibes to be the most accomadating in meeting our needs. ResortQuest is good as well just not as flexible. Either way, Waterscape is top of the line everything.

Spent a long time here during the lockdowns. Location with easy access to Destin and other activities. Resort was kept clean and security patrols made us feel safe.

My wife and I didnt stay here, but our son and his wife did. We only visited with them for a short while. Beautiful place and atmosphere though.

Best experience ever with this owner and condo. We have stayed in a few of Danicas condos and she is not only an owner but understands what people want and need and runs her business very thoroughly. She is timely and intuitive with preparing you for your visit and once you arrive you will be amazed at her accommodations and how clean her condos are. We stayed in C203 this trip. Ground floor. Plenty of room for the little kids to play. We had everything we needed in the room. All kinds of toys for the beach plus chairs and a cart for everything. Her housekeeper even did my grocery shopping for me (for a small fee) so we arrived with a stocked condo. Dream come true. Danica puts 110% in to these condos and making us happy. Worth the money for sure. We have already booked our next trip in her new A building unit. I will never rent from anyone else in this area. Beaches are amazing. Pool area is amazing. Book your trip today. You will love Danica and her condos.

Great place to stay if you have non adult children. We stayed here with my kids who are between 8 and 12 and tjey had a blast. Within walking distance of resturants and shopping. Beach front access aswell as a great pool area.

Waterscape is perfect for families. Beach is very close, not a long walk at all. Food is nearby, and drive to destin is super quick and easy. Our unit by coastal vibe vacations b228 was clean and ground floor to the pools. Great views. Nice covered parking. They may have roaches? Or palimeto bugs? It may be a Florida thing. Pools are so nice and there’s like 5 of them. Will return w our young family.

Really nice living quarters. Very clean, warming with all the amenities of home. A few hundred feet to the beach and local great eateries. Parking lot under the building was the only issue. Bottom floor parking was packed at certain times.

It really depends on what you like. If you like a poor view of the beach, views that possibly include the back of the building, overcrowding, yelling and screaming and noisy, uncomfortable beds, small kitchen and small den, plastic balcony furniture, this is actually the place for you.

This is the 4th time weve stayed at Waterscape, absolutely love it there!

This is a family vacation spot-- Lots of kids & families my only complaints are:1) the parking not enough spaces or directions to where things are once you get the gate code to work2)no carts at all to help shuttle groceries/luggage -- if you buy groceries for a family of 4 (GOD help you if its more than that) be prepared to get your arms burning & get a calve workout making about 400 trips well over your supposedly 10k steps3) they lock the lobby up at 5 -- I dont mean nobody is there I mean its locked up (for Knox style-elevators wont even go to that floor) so if you didnt get clear directions on what to do when you get here or have a problem -- sucks to be youOther than that great location

The resort is great . But I want to give a shout out to the guys that work the beach rentals for the resort. Sam and Taylor both stepped up and provided help to me and my family. They assisted with carry our beach things to our chair locations, and even help us get it back from the beach. Both were eager to help and smiling. Addressed me and my family in a professional manner and never seemed like it was an inconvenience to help us. In fact both got up and came to my family and offered help. These guys are exceptional and definitely made our visit better. So great job Waterscape in getting the best for your resort.!!

Danica was excellent to rent from. Her condo was one of the best I have ever stayed in. Will definitely be a return renter!

Absolutely amazing views and pool

Let me tell you something..The Waterscape makes you feel like youre on a tropical oasis with their beautiful palm trees and waterfalls and lazy river and the great aroma from the grills and guest playing music & kids in the kiddy pool we felt like we were in Cuba. Having direct access to the beach with our own private chair and umbrella was just what we needed. Best kept secret in Destin!!

A great place to book a visit through the winter months with the snowbirds so you can just relax and know that youre not going to have a lot of wild parties going on. Also there is 24/7 security if you ever need them

Cant get anyone to answer the phone to assist me on my upcoming reservation next week. Have called for 2 days, left messages, and husband has also sent emails with no responses.

Proximity to pools, beach & shopping. Rooms clean, but, in need of renovation & maintenance.

Our visit here was amazing!! Pool heater broke and it took them the week to fix it, so no pool fun for us. Would stay here again for sure!

My family and I have spent 6 vacations here. It is simply the best, most clean, and best kept resort in Florida. The only negative thing I can say about this place is it’s always super crowded, but that can be expected when your the top place in Florida!

Amazing place! Plenty to do here. Lazy river, kid splash pool, and another giant pool. The soft white sand never got to hot and the boardwalk is just a short walk on the beach. Lots of local places to eat and play.

I loved the many pools and the location on the beach. The only thing is that there was a small slide area for really small kids but it wasn’t lighted. There were many nights the tiny ones would be out there in the dark. It needs lights

We stayed in A 214 on July 26. When we checked in and went out on the balcony. (Ground floor) It was muddy. All on the cement was so dirty. I called and reported it but no one ever called nor came by to check it out. The entire time we were there we could not use the patio. Very disappointed! I will never stay in A 214 again. May not even return to Waterscape, because evidently they don’t care about your stay. Please contact me. I will be glad to fill you in.

Overall nice place. Has a nice setup where most of the rooms have an ocean view. Room quality varies but need a bit of updating. Great place for the family with close access to the beach with chairs provided each day.Its not the Ritz but its not that expensive either.Has gas grills if you want to grill out.Pool area has lazy river with pool and a kiddy area as well.Beach is beautiful with white sand and emerald water.

Exceptional vacation spot for anyone with kids between 3-15. Most two bedroom condos feature a bunk hall area which gives enough room for 8 to sleep comfortably. The pools and spas are a great place for the kids and parents to relax and have fun. The gym is fair but nicely equipped with newer equipment. The beach is very clean and easy to access from the condos. This is our third time here and wont be our last.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! This trip was my daughters first trip to the beach, where I expected her to want to stay ALL DAY during our stay, but the OUTSTANDING pools, the kids play area (with floating leap pads and monkey bars to hanging ropes to swing from) along with an awesome lazy river for adults or children. There were plenty of lounge chairs and tables for adults to lay and enjoy the sun, as well as, the beautiful scenery from the palm trees to the beach view. Again, it was DEFINITELY an amazing stay, and we enjoyed EVERY minute of our trip. Especially for it being my daughters first beach trip, it made it that much more exciting that she loved it just as much!!!

This is a great facility. The pools are numerous along with a splash pad and lazy river and the location right on the beach is fabulous. Great amenities like free DVD rental, gas grills, exercise facilities and free beach chairs and umbrellas. Our condo was super spacious and comfortable for the 8 of us. Our family had a fabulous week of vacation here mid-October.

Recently stayed with family for the Destin area probably one of the best hotels for a family with kids. Largest pool area that is kid friendly and children events through out day. Condo was nice. Only hesitation was price maybe because of last minute and July 4th weekend was a little steep 2 bed 2 bath, around 480.00 night would revisit with more timely planning. Kids had fun.

We normally really love waterscape, however, this time our room was not up to standard. It was like a guys college frat house. Poorly decorated and apparently the carpeting had gotten wet and they left an industrial blower in room the whole time trying to dry it. Kinda disappointed. Expected more from them. Will stay again and hope to have better room. I think it wasnt owned by anyone.

Family with four young grand children loved it! Very crowded, to be expected with large facilities. Pools and grounds great. Only 4-stars because we booked through Best Beach Get Away. Had three days no refrigerator. Repair time unacceptable. Make sure you book with Wyndham. Onsite and staffed.
