We have been going to the park for years for the Christmas Magic light show. It is amazing and a must see each holiday season. There is something there for all age groups.

A superb public park. Their Christmas lights show is 100% awesome! I visited here around 5:30PM Saturday 11/28/2020 and well worth the trip down from Mechanicsburg-as I just came from supper at Mexitaly-which is an awesome bistro, with alot of tasty food!

Had quite the experience here, one Ill certainly never forget! We saw the nice views after parking but then got stuck in a severe thunderstorm in the park with hail, wind and lightning. We figured that going back to the car would be risky as it was in an open area, easy to get struck. So we huddled under a rock to wait it out and ended up being indirectly struck by lightning. You could say it was definitely an electrifying experience.

It is so relaxing just sitting on the rocks and seeing how beautiful the world can be. And it is such a nice experience with your family. Its cool to go like a small hiking trip

Very lovely scenery. The only issue I had would be the signage, or lack there of. Seeing how you cannot drive past all of the pavilions, some better signing would of been very helpful.

There is a beautiful overlook towards Three Mile Island. They also have a good variety of trails. Whether youre looking for a casual walk/bike ride through the woods to just listen to nature, a steep and rocky trail to test your endurance, or even a short fitness trail with stops that arent covered in spiderwebs and overgrowth, you will find what youre looking for here.Just remember to follow the rules and clean up after yourself and the park and trails will remain as beautiful as they already are.

Took the grandchildren to the Christmas Magic event. It was so beautiful and they all loved seeing all the light displays. We were there over 2 hours. Planning to go again next year. Super job by the people who set it all up.

The pavilion was so muddy. Everyone at the baby shower was slipping and nearly falling. No one cleaned it up in preparation for our arrival. Was not happy but we made the best of it. I must say the park did make it fair by refunding my money but it just made for a not so fun experience and alot of muddy shoes and clothes to go home with.

It’s a great place to hike and enjoy the woods and trails. I love to mountain bike there as well as do some trail running. Rusty trail is a fun one to bike on with the obstacles and berms that you can fly around if you get some speed. I also love to take my boxer their with me and enjoy the hiking with here as well as let her play around off leash when there is no one around.

We went there for the Christmas festivities. The park was decorated very nice. However, I do not feel the cost of admission was worth the short walk and limited activities. As far as I could tell you could not even walk through again if you wanted. To justify the price I feel they need to add more lights and activities. Or at the very least allow you to walk through multiple times.

Great place to get into hiking if you are new to it. There is a mile long main gravel trail with a number of marked smaller trails branching off from it. Beautiful views from the power lines. It does not have the most challenging of trails - partly because it’s on the top of the mountains. If you want to introduce yourself to hiking in a managed space this is a great place to start though I’d recommend taking a picture of the trail map before you go as it can get a bit confusing.

The lights were ok. The pungent odor of latrine odors and cesspool smells made my stomach turn. The train guys were nice, tired and odor. I really didnt sense the spirit of Christmas at rough rocky ridge. I will not be back. Head to clipper stadium in lancaster. A much better deal. Sorry folks.

Make sure to wear bug spray not just for the ticks but the gnats and flys. Be ready to walk through loads of spider webs if you are one of the first few people on one of the trails. Its a great park and the trails are similar to hiking in the mountains just with the humming of electric lines and you can hear the highway.
