This place is excellent if you need information in the history of York county or specific parts in York county. I highly recommend the museum for its excellent tours, detailed explanations of historic tools and mechanisms. Great for children. So if you are taking time to hunt information or just looking to learn about our wonderful history, I recommend giving them a try. Cost for visits is very affordable and has membership deals as well.
Alway very helpful
Family Friendly atmosphere. Great ice cream social on Mothers day during Yorks street fair. Fun learning at the Ag & Industrial Museum. Looking forward to consolidation at W. Philadelphia Street location.
I attended an organ concert here on Giving Tuesday. They are going to restore this instrument, it was built in 1804 by a local organ builder. The concert was given by Victor Fields. It was quite well done. I will hsve to ga back and check out the rest of the exhibits.
I was only there for an organ recital, so I was only in the section where the organ was. They also had a gift shop and a book store in that area. The sound of the Tannenberg Organ was outstanding.
Very impressive collection of history. Nice to be able to do self tour.
Worth a visit to expand knowledge of York County.
Good place where history comes alive
