We loved it! The playground is fun and nice plus there us the splash pad! I will be taking my daughter back. Any time we go to a playground it will be this one.

My kids love it here. Its a dog friendly environment. Plenty of shade and seating. The playground is wonderful for all ages. And of course bathrooms on site. It is a all around wonderful experience.

They are fixing it up. I think it will be even better then! I would like to see a fence for extra safety, around the play area, like some other parks have.

Cute spot for the family...Theres 2 grills and a nice shaded picnic area that can be reserved. My son loved the sprinklers and play area..its clean,safe and theres a basketball court...I would recommend it for a nice family cookout or if you just want to take the kids to play in the water for free...

This is a great park for small children. It has lots of room to run around and a great playground. There is also a splash pad for the summer. It has a shelter with bathrooms that I would consider reserving for a summer time party. My kids love it so we will be back.

This small neighborhood park has one of the best playgrounds ever! The trail is way too short, but a lovey place to have a picnic and let the kids and the young at heart, have a great swing on the swing set!

Love this park. Its only one street from my house and has a great spot for the dogs to play as well as many other things. Ball field, splash pad, etc. I do wish the dog area had a fence. But its an awesome park!!

Small but very nice park. Great kids playground and water play area with nice restrooms, basketball court and sports playing field. Reason for only 4 stars, is no walking paths and it is small. But very nice and in a great neighborhood.

Fun park - would be 5 stars but gets super crowded in the summer. Lovely place to bring your toddler, especially when the water is running.

Great little park. The splash pad seems winterized. Kids welcomed playground time after a week in a hotel evacuated from Hurricane Florence. If I lived nearby, I am sure we would become regulars at this park. It’s a nice sunny day in the 80s wish the spray pad was working.

The park is fairly secluded and kinda off the beaten path so huge crowds arent an issue which is a huge thumbs up for me. Plus its super family friendly with a real nice splash pad and b-ball court.

Really nice for a tucked away water park. Some of the benches are a little jacked. The playground is clean, free of debris and entirely safe. The restrooms arent great but what can you ask for at a water park.Great spot.

Nice splash pad and shelter with a good sized playground behind. The mens bathroom had a broken stall door and needed a major cleaning and updating. Would be nice to have changing areas. The rest of the property looked underutilized.

Best splash pad. The only thing that could make it better is if they moved the trash cans 1. So kids dont fall at the front of the walk way. 2. Moved the trash cans so there arent so many flys.

Wonderful park - large shaded pavilion, splashpad open until Oct 31st (for those hot Sept and Oct days) buig playground, plenty of space for tossing a ball, easy car access.

My baby buddy loved the splash pad & I liked how the slash pad & playground were connected.

My kids had a great time here. Love the shelter nearby. Needs more water and regular maintenance to make sure each element works. Great for smaller kids up to age 6 or 8. The playground itself has great climbing apparatus, multiple slides, and looks like a castle. Because of the splash pad the mulch and structure can become wet and slippery in summer.

Hathaway park is great for kids of all ages. The splash pad is always fun in the summer, bring buckets and water toys for even more fun! There is a small basketball court and a field, I’m pretty sure that there are trails as well. The bathrooms are pretty bad, even for a public park. The playground is one of my 3 year old sons favorites in town. They have plenty of parking and picnic tables too.

We loved the splash pad area! It is perfect for kids and parents who dont want to take their children to a pool. Our daughters are under the age of 5 and dont know how to swim, so a splash pad makes it easier to allow them more free reign to play. The girls also loved the playground area, too!

This is a great place to go cool off in the summer heat! The water park is great for kids and adults! Clean restrooms and shelter area. Big playground and swings. Just a fun place 2 hang out and play or have a picnic!

Great free little water park, city could do a better job maintaining it, but for the price its amazing!

The splash pad is the ONLY reason to go. The playground area is in a sad state with mulch that gets dragged in with wet feet and such. The playground also isnt fenced in. That said, the splash pad provided my crew with hours of fun.

We visited for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed the amentities it has. We like that everything is compact. The splash pad, playground, and shelter are closely connected. I could easily see the kids playing from the shelter where we adults were sitting. Theres a basketball court and small walking trail too.

One of our favorites. It can be crowded though and splash pad stops at 8 pm exactly and isnt on except spring/summer (even when its hot) Bathrooms are pretty nasty. Some way to cut down on the wetness transferred to the playground area from the splash pad would be nice. Dont feel like my child slipping bc you cant dry off your kid before they run back and forth. But then most parents here stare at their cell phones and dont watch their kids.

Its nice that the playground, splash pad, picnic shelter, and open field are all in one place. This is one of the more crowded splashpads in Winston though, so just go knowing there will probably be a lot of other kids and families there on the weekends.

This is a great park for families. Multiple benches to sit at that are covered, huge grill to use, and love that there is a splash pad and playground.

My family enjoys visiting Hathaway park. They have a great jungle gym and a splash pad. There is a shelter with bathrooms open in the warmer weather. To get to the park it is just a few turns off of Country Club road.

Were here all the time. The kids love the splash pad. A picnic dinner while they splash around has become a pretty typical summer evening for us.I really wish theyd get rid of the crumbling tennis courts, though, and a few extra benches near the playground would be a welcome addition.

This is an awesome park. My granddaughter loves playing at the splash pad. My only complaint is that the womens bathroom does not have a door for privacy.

Nice new aquatics park with covered pavilion adjacent to play area to watch your kids play. Caution for those kids running on bare feet or flip flops - the surface can be slippery, running is not advised... Otherwise its a great way to deal with the heat!

Great just so busy all the time

My 4yr old loves it...and so do we! Very family oriented. Never seems to be too crowded. Of course weekends about double amount of people to weekdays. Well maintained playground and small water playground. Great way to spend the afternoon!

Kids playing in the park had some lady come and tell everyone they had to get out from under the shelter because they had it reserved. People need to be nicer and ask people if they would mind moving instead of being rude. If the park is reserved, park should post what time is reserved.

Cute place to play while bringing the family along during work. Its really free but the pavilion was booked for a party leaving no other place to watch the kids except in the sun.

Love that the water is salt instead of chlorine. Button to start the water is difficult to press, but once its going it is fun.

Splash pad water made the kids smell really horrible after less than and hour of play. One showered that same morning before playing there. The other the night before. So they were clean prior to play. The smell was so bad I worried theyd get sick. Its over 24 hour later and all they complained of was their skin ithing. My daughter had some bug bites from days before that swelled really bad that night even after we showered with soap with tea tree oil in it. Had to use antibiotic and cortizone creams. But thats not terrible. I was more worried they would get very sick. We made some smoothies that night with some cleansing foods as well to help flush out what ever disgusting stuff that they may have swallowed. We went last year and it was not like that.

Well thought-out, well maintained park in a quiet area. Be sure to bring along gear so your little people can play in water sprays.

Decent park. Not much here. The equipment is newer and they added a water splash/spray zone for the kids. Could be way better and so much more.

Great place for your kids and loved ones. The only negative would be that the parking lot is not really the greatest. It had a lot of potholes.

Clean and modern playground and splash pad. However, the bathrooms were rupulsive. Disgusting, no toilet paper, prison style toilets, and one of the toilets wasn’t even in a stall in the women’s bathroom.
