Comfortable and relaxing. Worked for all my needs. Great location. Grounds could use some upkeep
One star because this place is literally trash! I came here to meet my friend that came from Saudi Arabia and on our last night the key cards did not work at all!! We were not able to get inside the room to get the luggage and literally it’s frustrating to not be able to access the room before the flight! This is probably the worst hotel now! I literally had to drive to Norfolk to drop off my friend! Do not waste your money here if you wish to miss your room mid way through the night!
Excellent location! Located in Williamsburg on the main strip very local and close to everything. Our suite was spacious clean and sanitary and came with a full kitchen. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay including the customer service at the front desk. We could see that the staff was working hard to keep the grounds and the buildings clean. I would definitely recommend this location for an extended stay.
Love our stay even though we were the only guest there. Will gladly visit again
Quick check in, nice spaceous room, quiet, and clean. Will definitely book here again.
Very nice place .close to everything but was need in door pool and couldnt get good phone connections and couldnt get the interne
We were in town for an event at W&M and the location was very convenient. As others have stated, the suites are huge and well equipped. It was nice to have an iron and ironing board available. The bathroom and kitchenette were very clean, in particular. Overall, our brief stay was very comfortable and the room was quiet. We would definitely stay again when we are in town.
Bottom line is that the jury is still out, because our check in had an issue. Seems that our Hotels.com reservation never made it into the hotels system. Luckily, the guy working the desk was able to work around that (we think), and we got a room (very, very nice room); but still need to check in with corporate to confirm that we arent charged double. Other than that, the stay was absolutely great. No breakfast provided; but an IHOP is literally next door.
I had a good time with my family
They went above and beyond especially with the pandemic. All toiletries was still in its packaging and all remotes were in plastic and security mag locks were updated
The suite was spacious enough for our family, but I found the manager to be rude! Phase 2 went into effect and she refused to us to use the outside pool, our family of 5 were the only ones at the resort !
When I first got to the resort there was no one at the front desk but I could hear people in the back office talking.. I waited 10 minutes then started shouting out hello several times.. no one came out, so I waited a few minutes and and shouted out hello a little louder and someone came out..the young lady was apologetic and friendly. The location is good, next door to an IHop and within walking and driving distance to many eateries and shopping. The room layout was nice, two bathrooms. It had a fake fireplace, no heat but a nice touch. Our experience as far as housekeeping was terrible. Walking around barefoot I noticed the bottom of my feet got very dirty, tile floors were nasty and not mopped. I took a piece of wet toilet paper and rubbed it on the floor, it was black from the dirt. There were drops in front of the toilet that looked like urine, floor in the kitchenette area had droppings of some kind on it..stovetop and oven were filthy, used soap left in the shower and looked like the shower hadnt been cleaned, and the toilet paper stand in the front bathroom had brown droppings on the bottom of it, was filthy and hair stuck to it. Sad, because the room is really nice but horrible housekeeping. I didnt feel comfortable walking barefoot and didnt use the stove because it was uncleaned. I took pictures to share with the office and housekeeping but wasnt offered any concessions or refunds of any kind. Will not stay here again.
Our room was so clean, it was like we were the first people to stay in this unit. Everyone was so nice.
Excellent situation. Kitchen really needs improving. Bad quality of hard ware and old kitchen.Confortable bed. Big and nice bathrooms.
Great service from staff. extremely clean rooms. too close to the street and shopping center, as the noise kept waking me at night. with being called a Resort, I didnt expect it to be in that location.
Loved that this was a suite! Two bathrooms and separate room with pull out couch, fireplace, and kitchen. Would definitely recommend if staying longer than a night
This was a great place! Awesome rooms! We loved it here and will definitely come back again! Highly recommend!
If I could give this 0 stars I would. I have had issues here before but nothing bad enough to stop me from coming back until now.Manager is extremely rude and will also continue to remind you how she’s been since the business opened... Explains why this is a 2star resort I suppose.**Also note, your “full day” that you pay for is from 4pm-10am.** since that is yet to be posted on their website.
This hotel had two separate rooms: a living room with kitchen and the bedroom. It was extremely spacious and the bathroom was fabulous. For the price, you cannot beat this!
Rooms were nice, but had a few insects and could be cleaned better. Only 1 extra roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. Internet was down the whole 2 nights we were there.
What a hidden gem! Easily one of the cleanest, well-appointed rooms I’ve stayed in in recent memory. Shower was huge, kitchen well stocked, living area roomy and comfortable. Had space to do my “homework” after the daily conference I was attending for a week. Pool was crystal clear and poolside furniture was high end. Only negative would be it’s hard to find the ice machine if on the first floor(it’s on second floor in laundry area and you have to go out an exit door NOT marked for laundry/ice, which is rather counterintuitive). Signage isn’t great-need more than arrows pointing to things if they aren’t in the hallway.
So glad we found the Patriots Inn! Its difficult finding places for our large family. Our suite was spacious and gave everyone plenty of room. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. If we come back through again I will definitely see if there are any availabilities.
Everything was great Except I went to wrong hotel at first. It would have been nice if I would have the correct hotel.
The Family Room worked out wonderfully for us - a bedroom with a king bed and its own master bathroom, and a living room with the sleeper sofa and its own bathroom. The room was in excellent condition and the amenities expected of a suite. Weekly housekeeping was not a problem for our three-night stay. The outdoor pool area looked well maintained, but it was not yet open for the season when we were there in April.
The price was affordable and with no housekeeping you can sleep in as long as you want
Great little flat. Every thing we needed. Space, comfortable seating, dining table and chairs, fully fitted kitchen (no kettle) Inc. Dishwasher.2 bathrooms. Good bed. Laundry. Fitness room. Will stay again
Big rooms and quiet, the two things I look for. My family enjoyed the clean pool as well. The only thing is, there are many buzzards that swarm around the back of the motel, makes for a goosebumps moment.
Nice Hotel suite. Kitchen and full bedroom. Will be going back. Only suggestion is if patrons are staying 5 days, clean the room on Wednesday. Otherwise we saved a bunch of money having a kitchen!
Love returning to Patriots Inn. Staff is great. Convenient location.
Not a bad place to stay, nice pool and located not far from good restaurants and shopping. Has some nice upgrades such as baths, but does have a dated appeal to the rooms. Good value for the money but small for more than 2 people.
Everything was exactly as described and VERY clean. We stayed for a week and it was quiet even on the weekend. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we had trouble almost daily with our keys not working and our room smelled like someone previous had cooked fried fish!
Loved how big and spacious the room was. Great value
Awesome hotel and very clean. We loved our room. Will definitely be back next time we are in Williamsburg!
Clean, convenient access to Williamsburg and great price. Friendly staff.
Definitely needs help! . The staff was friendly and very curtious but the pool area could be entered by anyone in the area! Not secure at all. The hotel had no staff after about 11 pm. So if you needed someone you had to call an 800 number for assistance. Also the hot tub (spa) was not working. We stayed a full week and it was never repaired!! Will not be needing their services again!
We were not expecting such a big, comfortable, and clean apartment in such a good location with so many restaraunts and stores (outlet mall) in walking distance. Historical downtown is a 5 min drive. We are really impressed and will definitely return.
One of the better rooms we stayed at on our trip clean and well kept
Really nice room! Very clean! My only complaint is the gym opens too late. I like to workout early before we go out and it opens at 8.
So I had this place for a week from Saturday to Saturday. I had to leave on Monday for work and told front desk I would be back on Wednesday. I was told that the cleaning staff comes on Wednesday to do room but none of my belongings would be touched. I get back Wednesday night all of my food was gone but room wasnt clean. Trash can still full. Im so glad I didnt leave my jewelry or clothes. I would like to say that James at the front desk was awesome.
Friendly service. Room coffee was generic. Excellent location. Closest hotel from the Virginia Capital trail making trip 120 miles long in total.
The suite had two bathrooms need I say more!! Clean and great value for the price.
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean this hotel was. I read other reviews and decided to reserve. I am very picky about hotels. Especially the bathrooms. Our unit was very spacious, nicely updated, and actually looked better than the 4 star hotel we stayed in the week before. It was also close to restaurants and shopping. I didnt get to check out the pool area, so I cannot comment on that. The only con I can give is that the outside room windows could use cleaning. There were a few insect cocoons hanging. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Williamsburg.
Centrally located Very clean, upscale accommodations
Clean rooms, friendly service, and great low prices. A family suite has two bathrooms. Cant beat that !
My husband and I were delighted with this place! Everything is very clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with how well equipped the kitchenette is. The separate living area is comfortable and includes a full sized table for eating and DVD player with the TV. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean too. The location is very convenient to everything we wanted. We read some reviews that complained about a lack of daily fresh towels and cleaning, however I dont put out fresh sheets and towels every day at home, so I dont see that as a problem for a short stay.We had only two minor complaints: The bed was fairly comfortable, but not firm enough for my back; it sagged just a bit in the middle. And it would have been nice to be able to check in earlier than 4:00.We strongly recommend Patriots Inn for comfort, convenience and value. And we will definitely be back!
I really loved it I stayed there for a week and had no problems at all
Very clean. Great location and staf. Would definitely stay again.
Second time staying at Patriot Inn. Great Value. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
This hotel was amazing! The staff was all super friendly and very helpful. The room was mind blowing! It was definitely updated, the fireplace was a wonderful touch. I loved that the kitchenette was so well stocked with supplies, making it easy to cook in the room. And two bathrooms for a one bedroom suite! We loved how much space there was, the bedroom itself was as big as a normal hotel room. Also the location is prime. Close to the amusement parks and surrounded by good places to eat (if you dont wanna cook in the amazing kitchen). The hotel was definitely a big plus for our trip and we cant wait to stay here again!
Very nice suite with all the amenities!
Clean and well appointed room with 2 bathroom. Large Master shower a TV in bedroom and living room. Pull out couch got no complaints from my son. The pool is small but really nice. The staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
The place is nice but the beds are very uncomfortable
Dirty rooms, Laundry room equipment dirty. Terrible staff. Treated my elderly handicapped parents terribly. Not Handicap friendly. Small rooms.
I love this place for the cleanest and it is well kept also it has all the comfort of home. We have try other places to just take a break and to chill out but we find Patriots Inn is the best for us. Plenty of stores around you to get something to eat even a theater behind Patriots Inn and all kinds of shops. I-Hop next door. I could go on and on. Thats why they get 5 stars from us.
My family and I were guests at the Patriots Inn, Williamsburg VA for several days in August and September. This was not our first visit to this property. We’d been there previously and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We felt confident that this most recent stay at Patriots Inn would be comparable to our previous visits. We arrived late in the evening, and after checking in, we were unable to get into our room because the door-lock was inoperable. Thankfully the front desk staffer was able to move us to another room. Unfortunately, the room was on the first level not on the second level (a bit more private and away from foot and car traffic) as our original room had been. That evening, after settling into the new room, I discovered a few things, (1) there was no hand/body soap; (2) there was a bug inside of the pull-out couch (so my daughter slept on top of the couch), and (3) the water in the reservoir of the toilet in the master bedroom often ran incessantly. The next morning, I spoke to the front desk clerk, the cleaning supervisor, and the manager. The manager told me the hand/body soap issue was hotel-wide and the result of an issue with the distributor. She also assured me that the bug inside of the pull-out couch would be removed. I was offered a 10% discount on my reservation as a goodwill gesture. That day, my family and I were out of our room for hours, ample time for staff to remove the bug and clean the bedding. Unfortunately, when we returned to the room later that evening, the bug was still on the bed.The entire experience at Patriots Inn was a huge disappointment and we will not be going back to the hotel or recommending it to any of our friends. As of today, I have not received the 10% discount.
The room was very clean and spacious. With that being said my stay was not as i expected, i never stayed in a hotel in my life and had to do so much. If i wanted clean towels i would have to walk to the front desk with the dirty ones to get new ones mind you i am in the second building over i have no clue why they are not given on a daily basis. If i wanted to get in the pool i would have to walk to the front desk to sign out pool towels. My room was not checked on or cleaned the whole time i was there. It was 1 extra roll of tissue under the sink for a 2bedroom suite with 5 people staying. At checkout it was a list of things i had to do which in shouldnt have to do if the room was check on on a daily basis. And not to mention the awful checkout time that was at 10am. I dont think i will be recommending anyone to stay here it just felt like to much work for a place i paid for.
Comfortable beds. Good location. Mice linens. Friendl staff.
Stayed overnight for a trip to Busch Gardens and we were amazed at the size of the suites. We paid about the same price as we would have for a standard room at a typical national hotel chain, but had a den with full kitchen (and fold-out couch), a separate bedroom, and two full bathrooms. The room was very clean and in great condition too.
A gem of a place, very new, very clean, spacious apartment, well equipped kitchen, well maintained pool and friendly helpful staff!
This place doesnt look very appealing on the outside nor the lobby. Staff is young and unprofessional. Although we asked for wheelchair access the main entrance doesnt have a ramp. room is nice. Seems to be remodeled recently, but too much money for the experience. I would rather stay at a hotel. Which this location looks like a old hotel is resort.
Quiet convenient and smokes any hotel options period. Limited check-in options but come on; 2 bed, 2 bath suite, tax, tags and title ...less than $150 night?
Please read my review before you stay at this hotel. I am very disappointed in this hotel and do not understand how the reviews are this high. I had several issues with the place. First of all, the hotel keys barely work!!! I’ve seen multiple people comment on this as well. It is very difficult and often takes dozens of swipes before you can get into the apartment building your room is in. My friend and I were literally stuck in the pouring rain trying to get the cards to work. And guess what? The front desk closes at 11 so we couldn’t get anyone to help us. The toaster was damaged and did not pop up on its own. The sheets on my bed were put on tag side up, so I had to remake it so a tag wouldn’t be hitting my face while I slept. That’s not something I expect to have to do while on vacation. The directions they give you to get your room are EXTREMELY confusing and it took me several minutes to find the proper building because of this. I have never left a bad review for a hotel before, but this experience was so awful I had to. I love apartment style hotels, but this one is not worth it. Oh and the check in (4:00 pm) and check out (10:00 am) times are EXTREMELY inconvenient, especially the check out time. I would love to talk to a manager about these issues because I have worked in hospitality and this is UNACCEPTABLE. If you take what hotel you’re in seriously, like me, then don’t waste your money on this place. There are so many other nice and affordable options in Williamsburg. Don’t let the reviews deceive you.
Im a timeshare owner at Patriots Inn. The management company never mails out yearly statements, will put you on hold forever, then upon finally answering, claim they sent out mail correspondence that you never received, and send your not yet overdue fees to collection companies. Not to mention the maintenance fees are high for such a small place... not impressed with the room, cant use the amenities during my week of the year, but still have to pay the same maintenance fees as everyone else while the hotel rents out my unit to other guests during my unused week and profits off of my losses. This mentioned above isnt even the worst part... the worst part is being called at 8:50pm every Sunday night while Im ASLEEP by a sales agent trying to ask me for all of my friends and familys information so they can attempt to sell timeshares to them. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Heck, at this point just take it back and get it off my hands.Patriots Inn, their management company, and Vacation Village are a joke.
Great place for families, very cozy. Fireplace is a nice touch, my little one wanted it on every evening. Bathrooms were nice. Kitchen is well stocked so that you dont have to eat out for every meal.
Stayed here for a week last April. Love that the 1 bedroom with sofa bed has 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space to store suitcases, canvas bags and boxes of groceries we arrived with. The staff were outstanding with customer service. James was wonderful at check in.Great location with grocery store, restaurants, Starbucks, shopping, Walmart nearby.Felt safe while we were here.Looking forward to staying again in the near future.
Rooms are wonderful. Room service is kind and the rooms are full of amenities. Love it here.
We were so pleased with PATRIOTS INN. The pictures on the sites DO NOT do justice to the very updated, modern, fresh, and spotlessly clean suites !! We knew it looked nice but we were ecstatic with everything when we checked in!! You will not go wrong here and Johnny and the entire staff are awesome!!
Nice hotel great stuff
No indoor pool so the kids were disappointed . Otherwise it was fantastic.
Awesome place people are very friendly. Rooms look amazing and their nice and clean. Very close to all attractions...I would definitely return next vacation
We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite for a week.Functional front desk, quick check in. We were not subjected to an invitation to a “breakfast” to hard sell us on another timeshare, which was a tremendous relief. Front desk very responsive to concerns; responded quickly when I accidentally set off the alarm by overheating a pan, causing smoke in the room.Room clean, spacious, with good lighting. Quiet and safe area. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning not too loud. Suite was spacious, equipped with complete kitchen facilities (oven, stove, full refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher) and utensils. Some stuttering in streaming videos, but usually worked pretty well. TV and DVD player in the front room. TV in the master bedroom. 2 baths, one associated with each room. Bathrooms clean with functional hot shower.Amenities: Swimming pool and hot tub, business area. Workout room.No breakfast. Many different restaurants in the area, both chain and local, including an IHOP next door. Close to Colonial Williamsburg. Food Lion and Earth Fare within walking distance. No pets allowed. We would definitely come here again should we be in the area.
The room was larger than expected-we had a 2 bedroom suite. Close to many restaurants, stores, and Williamsburg. Convenient to highway.
I stood at the Patriots Inn for 2 days. There are some pros and cons.I boked a room for 4 and I had 4 plus my 8 month old grandson. When I arrived they told me more than 4 is considered a fire hazard but... they charged me $100 extra a day for my 8 month old grandson. So I guess company policy went out the window.Just be AWARE of the fine print with this hotel.Otherwise it was a great place to stay.Just read everything before booking.
Its awesome
Staff was friendly, room was clean. My family of 4 was very comfortable in the 1 bedroom suite. Great room rate versus a hotel for holiday weekend. Very close to food and attractions. I would stay again!!
Not updated, carpeting and furnishings. Upkeep not as when originally purchased.
Dont let the outside fool you. The rooms are extremely nice. We especially loved the bathrooms. I would give it five stars except you have to take your dirty towels and wash clothes to the front desk to exchange them for clean ones and they shut the pool down for rain. Not thunder storms, but regular train.
Great place to stay!!! Exceptionally clean, spacious suite. It looks like its just been renovated. Friendly staff. Loved it!!
Very clean, central location, and helpful employees. Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable beds. I have stayed there twice and will again.
Affordable, clean, and amazingly friendly staff! Will definitely make this my go to hotel in Williamsburg.
Nice place.
Room was very spacious, loved the 2 bathrooms and separate bedtooms. Staff was Super helpful and the security guard JD was very nice.
I saw the bad reviews but feel that this place has changed hands and good things are happening here. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was huge, clean and well decorated. We had a fully equipped kitchen, large master bathroom with shower, 3 flatscreen TVs, fireplace and a complimentary washer and dryer on each floor available.cons- no housekeeping.
My family and I recently stayed here. I like the fact that there were two separate rooms and two separate bathrooms as well as a full kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with all the Necessities to cook family meals, this saved my husband and I money that we probably would have spent on eating out everyday.b the room was clean and nicely furnished all of the appliances were ready to use as well. There is a laundry room on each floor which I found to very convenient. The laundry room was especially useful after a long day at the waterpark. I was able to launder my familys clothing without having to spend any more money or go off of the premises. The location is great there was an Aldi and Walmart within a 10 minute drive or less. If I am ever in Williamsburg again I will definitely be booking this location
Decent hotel. Nice location.
Rooms are nice but in a vacation you dont want to do your own house keeping. We had to take old towels to main desk 2 buildings up from ours where they count what you give them and give you the same thing back. Then the housekeeper only comes once a week. So if you like chasing down tiwels, keeping room up yourself, and stacking trash bags up in your room then you would like this
Spacious, clean, handicap accessible. Pool, full kitchens & two Bathroom
Great pricing and great hotel!!! Loved the pool and room overall!
Very nice hotel. Not far from Busch Gardens.
Great staff, extremely clean, well located within Williamsburg. A MUST stay.
Great place to stay. Good location and very quiet.
Nice clean rooms and friendly staff!
It was great. Wifi is a bit on the slow side. Still fast enough for me to play Online games on my PS4 though.
Very clean, comfy Accomadations
Clean and well placed
Very well located, rooms appear to have been recently renivated
Nice clean and convenient to everything
Extremely clean and friendly. Rooms are spacious.
We spent a week here while visiting Williamsburg, VA. Great timeshare and excellent location for also getting to Jamestown and Yorktown.
