It was a good stay Nice area and very clean good place to stay
Needs to be cleaner and remove insects or spiderwebs. Decorations enhance the beauty of the place. Extremely dark in some of the areas.
It was a okay place nothing to brag about. I probably wouldnt stay here again.Oh and you get nooooo service unless you oay $10/day for half decent wifi
Positive: Great location and staff was friendly and accomodating! Negative: No! This is a great spot to be for Williamsburg and I would definitely go back again!
This place is very quiet and tucked away. It is a nice place for a getaway or staycation. My family rented the one bedroom and two bedroom condos. Cons to this place is when you rent two different room types you won’t necessarily be in the same building or cul-de-sac. Also it is a little outdated, but they provide everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to have a good weekend. I will definitely come back. Pros would be the size and friendliness
The check in was easy, everyone was friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Well maintained grounds and units; although our initially assigned unit was not ready during check-in, they made up for it with an upgraded unit.... good RCI timeshare property.
Very nice accommodations. BUT this is timeshare. To get out of the office I had to talk to the concierge who was very aggressive (read obnoxious) insisting that I must attend a 1hour sales pitch. I told her I wouldnt be there and walked out.
The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely go and enjoy.
Great place to stay. Rooms are great.
I liked this place very much because it was my home away from home. Had all the amenities and was clean. Had WiFi as well.
My favorite thing about this time share location is they have 2 brand new Clipper Creek charging stations! We had a great experience here. Cant complain. Super close to the colonial city center too. P.S. I corrected the map marker of the location of this place. Now its correct
Great rooms, would love if they had an indoor pool
My daughter took me there for a girls weekend. My daughter and grand had one side of the house and I had my own little mother n law place. It was like having 2 apartments connected together. Everything was awesome and I plan on returning.
Outdated rooms. Room we checked into was dirty and we had to change rooms
Love this place, I want to retire here..
Great service very helpful staff, rooms we stay in great
Very cosy atmosphere in a village-like setting. This older property is still well maintained. Our unit included a washer and dryer, two showers, a full kitchen and dining area and a balcony off the bedroom. The small kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Also included was a nice living area with television and a blue ray player.Sue at reception was very friendly and Sarah, at the concierge desk, gave us some great leads on spending time in Williamsburg.
Nice location for the attractions located near Williamsburg. The unit layouts are convenient, but you have to be picky about the units if you plan to actually cook during your stay. Once, we ended up in a one bedroom unit with a full range/cooker, but no ventilation. The windows are also blocked from opening more than two inches. Most guests/owners probably dont cook, so this is not a general problem.
We had a 2 bedroom. It was spacious. We had 2 of everything. Two kitchens, two living rooms and two bathrooms. The only issue I came across was, one of the towels in the bathroom had a huge hole in it. Other than that the rooms are clean and well kept. The kitchen has all of the silverware and cookware you would need for a long stay. Its close to great restaurants and theres an outlet about 10-12 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.
Didnt enjoy accommodations given! Lacking upgrades! No standards
Helpful staff, good cautionary steps, clean rooms. Close to restaurants and outlet shops.
Patriots Place is a very nice area off the Bypass Road (the address we were given was not accurate). Our studio came with a small kitchen with a sink, microwave, stove/oven, coffee pot. The bed was comfortable. Check in and check out were very easy. We enjoyed the pool. Pool towels were provided in the room. They also have a fire pit and there was live music on the reception area porch one of the nights. Convenient to Colonial Williamsburg.
Accomadations were clean, efficient and appropriate for 2 of us. Our unit has 3 areas, living room with fireplace, kitchen with dining area and one bedroom. Bathroom is split with small vanity sink, tub shower on one side and large vanity sink, shower, toilet on other side. Stacked Washer/dryer in bathroom. Combination of Colonial and modern decor throughout unit. There is also a balcony with 2 chairs and table. Love there are 2 TVs.Front desk cordial and helpful and fast to assist. This is a good location to stay.
The suites are nice, but the walls are super thin. Weve had hit and miss service from the staff.
Wonderful accommodations for a quite stay.
The small kitchen and eating area were perfect, the front desk staff was extremely helpful, and the pool and bonfire area made this place stand out. Now, the walls are PAPER thin! You can hear everyone moving about from walking to talking to their TVs, and the beds are absolutely terrible. Upon checking in, the front desk staff took our info for our vehicles, gave us keys, but then informed us that we need to go to a separate booth to receive our parking passes. Well, the booth with the parking passes was just a scam to get you to fill out marketing info. When I asked if I needed to fill out the form to get my parking passes, I was told yes! I was then shown a local map and asked if I had every visited this particular city, I informed the customer service rep that I had in fact GREW UP in the city... she didn’t care, I was still told about all the hot spots in the city and things to do. Of course, I was asked if I wanted a free to listen to the timeshare talk and some point while just trying to get my parking passes. Getting the parking passes alone took 10 minutes.
Friendly staff, quick response time and seamless checkin/checkout
Surprisingly peaceful and refreshing. One bedroom deluxe very spacious with a balcony!! Bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, living and dining area very spacious. Friendly staff and I truly enjoyed my stay!! Thank you Wyndham!!
You feel like youre in the center of Colonial Williamsburgs Duke of Gloucester Street. Furnishings are colonial. People are very nice and welcoming. Great place.
Poor customer service and very noisy at night
Staff was very friendly. The unit was clean but a disappointment. There was no bedding for the pullout and had to wait 45 minutes for someone to bring it at 930 at night. The pool towels in the unit were wet in the drawer. The adjoining room connected through the bedroom and theres a half inch gap under the door. So we heard everything the neighbors said or did including a domestic dispute at midnight. The bed was very uncomfortable. Lumpy and tacoed to the middle. Will not be staying again.
This is a really nice place to stay. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Unfortunately if you are on the bottom floor you can hear the folks above continuously. Ask for the second floor room. Additionally the pool was quite chilly, even the grandkids had no interest in swimming. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
Friendly guest service staff and welcoming
The lady at the desk where they try and push a timeshare on you was extremely rude. The studio room was hilariously small and outdated. We will never stay here again! Huge waste of money.
Loved it. The sales pitch was not overly pushy, the accommodation s were really nice and it was very quiet. Definitely open for a return visit.
Very nice my kind of place convenient to all the major sites and amusement parkService people here are wonderful. Would come here again. I have family down here. My wife and I are planning on coming back
I was not impressed by the outside but the inside was impeccable. Could not judge this book by the cover.
A nice place to come with your family.
Solid place to stay when visiting historical Williamsburg and the surrounding are; just minutes from all major attractions. Units are nice and modern with plenty of room and a robust kitchen.
Very comfortable accomodations with one very notable exception. The bathroom sinks are better suited for NBA players. My wife is 52 and had difficulty brushing her teeth comfortably. If our 8-year-old granddaughter was with us we would have needed the step stool. These counter tops need to come down at least 12!!! A shout also goes to Sean or Shawn for helping us with our luggage. Thus was a random act of kindness.
Upon arrival, the staff was amazing and the suite appeared very good with an exception to the bed. It looked somewhat made up but not as crisp as it should’ve been. From the morning of the second day until the day of departure, there were two large trash bags on the floor between my suite and the one next door. I had arrived late in the evening and didn’t notice the stained sofa chair. Nor did I notice that the other chair and sofa needed a surface cleaning. When resting, I saw the corner of the box spring and it had soil or some other substance on it. I felt a bit itchy on the bed and sofa. Most of everything else was spotless and in good working condition. The exceptions were a blown bulb in the bathroom and a layer of dust on the blender.
Nice staff but they have no control over fixing anything that is wrong with the resort. The unit above us, has a squeaky floor that squeaks with every step hard or soft. You can hear every word that the people above us says- no privacy at all!! NO KING SIZE BEDS in the entire resort. They say they are queen beds but look more like full size. Mattresses are like sleeping on a trampoline. Hoped to have a quiet few days away but what a waste of a vacation. After two days of no sleep- and not hearing back from management on the issue of the squeaky floor above us... we did not get to sleep both nights till 2:30 because the person above us was pacing the floor all night long. All we asked for was for management to call us so we could get a solution...no one called. We called the front desk and asked for a later check out tomorrow because we are EXHAUSTED from not getting the sleep we planned on...we were told one hour extra was all they could do. Our entire vacation was ruined and they cant even give us a few extra hours to catch up on the sleep they stole from us because they refused to contact us back and arrange for us to move somewhere else. Worse resort in Williamsburg hands down
The place is nice and it is nice to have a kitchen and everything in there and the amenities are nice. This would be a good place if you are staying for an extended period of time. We however, were not. We were in town for a graduation and only stayed 2 nights. My biggest issue with this property, was not that it was a time share place, it was that after you check in, you are forced to go to the time share desk to get your packing pass. I found that fairly tacky. Also, you cant turn the ac less than 67 degrees, I like it to be cold when I sleep. Otherwise it was ok.
Great place to take your family.
Visiting my aunt, they didnt want to tell me where she was. I had to give them the building number first. Good security.
Its basically a duplex. Nice hot tubs, great amenities, excellent security. Lots of rooms, space, decent kitchen, reasonably clean. We have a timeshare with Wyndham, and they have only really disappointed me once. Not as great as some other locations, but if you want to feel like youre at home when not at home, this place isnt half bad.
Just make sure you have a room on the second floor. Otherwise, you are going to hear every footstep. If your neighbors are louder than a quiet conversation you will hear that too.
Great vacation area, rooms are spacious and updated. Very close to different attractions and close to the interstate as well.
We had a nice suite with plenty of room. Everything worked but the appliances are bathroom were slightly dated.
The rooms small and was not clean and they didnt have sheets for pull out sofa bathroom door was off hinges sliding door didnt open just nothing to do
Great place for a vacation with the family. However, the kitchen sink & cabinets needed to be replaced but other than that you cant beat the location.
Its a time-share based condominium..we rented directly through the owner privately. The condo was in good shape, very clean, and the staff were professional. The property has a nice pool and is located very close to Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown Battlefield, Busch Gardens, and Water Country USA.
I am giving stars for the facility which is great. The front office staff are wonderful, but the sales management, especially one that I will not name here who was disgusting, will make you want to leave.
It had been MANY years since we had stayed at Patriots Place. Boy were we in for a GREAT SURPRISE! We loved it!It was always on the bottom of our list for the Wyndham resorts in Williamsburg.....No longer! It doesnt have some of the extra amenities offered at the other two resorts but the one bedroom deluxe we stayed in was furnished very nicely, very clean; the grounds & buildings were attractive and well maintained; the staff was very friendly. We will never hesitate again to choose Patriots Place.
Very clean. Nice villas. Wish they had larger sized beds. Only have full size. Nice kitchens, well equipped. Sound proofing would be nice. Elevators as well. Had a nice time here. Would come again.
A home away from home...
Clean nice service pretty pool!
Pleasant welcoming staff. Nicely appointed grounds & rooms. Very Clean.
The property was beautifully landscaped even had Christmas decorations as you enter the property.
Great place to stay, we stay here every year. Fully stocked kitchen, nice pool, great staff, clean and units have plenty of room. And great price! Highly recommended.
I enjoyed each buildings set-up with just four units each.I should not have gone on an information only meeting as it turned out being a high pressure sales pitch.
Room was clean and ready for our arrival. A little dated but well maintained. Typical Wyndham 1 bedroom suite. Hide-a-bed sofa in living room. Ample supply of towels, soaps, etc. Reception staff was attentive and helpful. Conveniently located to Colonial Williamsburg and many good restaurants. The cons were the absence of a ceiling fan in the bedroom and the absence of enough light in the bedroom and living room. Overall a positive experience
Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Room was quite spacious, and up-to-date. The only thing we wish we had was a little more cabinet space.
I loved this place. The room was immaculate. When i walked in I was wow. The customer service at check in was excellent. My stay was unbelievable.
Loved it . We got a free upgrade, $60 in meal certificates and free lunch.
Very clean. Welcoming. Pool was nice, heated. All property well kept.
Cool amenities! but the actual place was kind of a relic and run down.
We stayed here as part of a time share points exchange. I was very pleased with the quality of the condo and the efficient front desk. I hope to stay here again!
Nice accommodations, super Wyndham quality.
Great stay. The facility is a little older but well maintained and very nice
I always try to go to a different hotel, but my kid love this hotel very much. So, I love to be in there with him and we both always enjoy it.
Its comfortable, but the hot water takes too long!
So classy and inviting. Staff was friendly. Things to do for kids. Really just an amazing resort
Our unit was small and did not have a patio. It was very clean though and quiet. Overall a great place to stay.
A pleasant alternative to a traditional hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Wonderfully luxurious rooms. Great pool. Friendly and capable staff.
Nice clean place, friendly staff. I stayed in a older unit but it was still nice clean and basic. It suited our needs.
Visited on vacation. The place was clean, but smelled kind of funny and could have used an update. It seemed like it used to be OK to smoke in the condo 20 years ago, and it hasnt been renovated since. I also do not like the Wyndham practice of pushing you to buy into the timeshare thing.
Very well kept and very nice staff. And I mean all - house keeping and the maintenance workers. Beautiful area and close to Colonial Williamsburg as well as many other places of history.
The furniture in the room is uncomfortable and the setting is extremely aesthetically underwhelming. Says that the deluxe one 1 bedroom comes w a queen bed but it’s MUCH smaller than a queen bed. It’s WAY closer to a full size bed. Not to mention it is also very uncomfortable and the pillows feel like you’re sleeping on a pile of tissue paper. You can hear EVERYTHING through the walls. The worst part is the timeshare scam. Beware bc they make you get a parking pass from a timeshare rep after you check in. I’m not even sure the parking pass is even necessary but the check in desk acts like you have to have one to park. Then they act like in order to get points for your stay you need to fill out an info sheet w your contact info, email etc. The sales reps are very pushy and try to get you to attend a breakfast. We were not interested at all so I kept refusing. Eventually we said yes just to shut the rep up. We signed up for a breakfast and just never showed up. They have called me twice in two days to follow up. ugh I should have given a fake number!
It was a lovely place. They lost some stars for a couple of reasons. First of all, we were very clear that we did not want to attend any presentation as it was not a requirement of our visit. However, the person at the desk was very insistent and would not give up. We got there late and just wanted to go to bed. My daughter was done. Second, the beds mattress was very springy to the point of being unconformable.
Weve frequented Patriots Place over several years. Weve seen the transformation and the latest ceiling to floor renovations is a amazing comeback ... the property looks great!
Great location! Standard speech when you are an RCI transfer user.
Great place to stay.
Nice quiet resort nestled in colonial WilliamsburgSmall resort kid friendly with a great pool
Have stayed there over a dozen times. The facility is very clean and close to all we want. This time we stayed in Bldg. 20 room 103B and the mattress needs to be replaced immediately. Also after all of these visits this was the first time the representatives were toooo insistent about us attending a meeting. I was very clear from the beginning we would not attend any breakfast or lunch and they continued to call the room about it. Please ask you personnel to take no thank you as an answer
Room was nice bed comfortable. Pool area could have used a hot tub. Fire pit is a great place to meet other guests. Will be back in Nov.
Dated and small accomodations. Only have queen size beds. We have stayed at a lot of Wyndhams. This is by far the worst. Needs some updating. The grounds are the nicest parts.
I really like the upgrades and the small town vibe.
Ms. Kristi showed me around, & made me wanna Buy in
