The Wyndham Kingsgate is an awesome resort to enjoy your vacay. Theres several activities to enjoy from tennis to fishing. and there are activities for the children as well. The rooms are very cozy and home like. They supply all your basic needs. My family had a wonderful time together there.

Everything started good first night ok, pools and mini golf are open, kids were happy, but second night, due to connecting rooms, we could smell all the smoking from new guests from the same building. Then at 3am people from the connecting room started to shout and hit walls. The lady was screaming not to be hit, that she wasn’t with nobody else (and other bad language I don’t wish to repeat). She even mentioned the guy had showed her a knife (one could hear everything). It looks like security and then police came. Not sure if charges were pressed but the guy left and the lady was talking loud until 5am probably. Nobody was vacated. It was not fair for other guests in the same building. Very bad experience, would not recommend especially when you have little children. Not safe. We chose the room due to the kitchen and space but was not worth it.

Great place to stay while in Williamsburg. The condo is a nice size and overlooked the pond. Its also centrally located to all of sightseeing locations.

Just wanted a little getaway with the family. Understanding that Covid has things messed up for everybody is to be expected... However, cleanliness of our room was much to be desired of. Safety a concern as our 4 year old daughter found 2 broken handrail balusters on the second floor leading up to our 3rd floor room. Oh yeah, if swimming is on your agenda there while on your stay, good luck, and enjoy your 90 minutes. We called and asked multiple times about the pool and if anything special had to be done before using it. Not once did they say anything until our day of arrival... You must call the day before to reserve your 90 minute swim (if theres any spots left), you cant make reservations until youve already checked in... Try explaining that to a 2 and 4 year old. Disappointing nontheless...

Wonderful low key resort close to all the action. Great amenities including mini golf and arcade room for the kids. My only negative is some of the furnishing are dated. I look forward to coming back a couple times a year.

Pretty nice place, walls are pretty thin, we could hear the neighbors. Rooms were relatively clean (a little dust on the curtains). Couch wasnt too comfy but there was plenty of room and the beds and linens were nice. Nicely located with good amenities.

The property was large and really nice. The parking spots are narrow so you have to ensure you park in the lines correctly to avoid some of the issues we noticed with other cars. Once one person parked crooked, it created a domino effect. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo on the third floor. It had one of the largest balconies I have ever seen in a hotel room. We would have spent more time out there but it had not been cleaned in quite a while. The cobwebs and bugs took over one corner of it. The size of the room blew me away as it really looks like a mini apartment when you walk in. The kitchen had everything we needed except paper towels and enough dish soap for the amount of dishes we had planned to wash. Our restrooms also did not have any toilet paper so we ran to the store to stock on basic supplies. We had planned to use the sofa bed for one of our children and there was no linen provided for that either. We ended up calling to the front desk and that was brought to us within about 15 minutes. The check-in process was also rather long considering we booked prior online. When we arrived there was a slight line that moved swiftly once we were in it.We wold definitely return to this property.

We had a great stay, nothing to complain about as per this Covid-19 situation, the resort did an excellent job with at least having the pool and grill areas open!! This resort is very close to a lot of great restaurants and only 10 min. away from the Premium Outlet Mall. My two bedroom was nice, clean and smelled great; no odors!! I will definitely come back with my family!!!

Great location, friendly staff! Reasonably priced :-) with surprisingly large rooms. The kids loved the swimming pools and Putt-Putt course.Thanks for a great weekend getaway in Colonial Williamsburg :-)

Place is okay, needs some updating. Due to covid a lot of amenities were closed. Pool was open indoors but its really small and not ideally to use because of covid. Dont really have much space to distant yourself from others. You also have to book a time slot to use the pool which is not a problem but it becomes a problem when other families are in there with you. I dont think Ill stay at this resort again. There are better resorts in Williamsburg for around the same price.

We had a wonderful time at this vacation resort. We had a group of twelve and rented 2 adjoining Apts - the place was very clean and we felt safe as far as the Rona Virus is concerned. The kitchen was fully equipped for what we needed to make our breakfast and dinners. The grounds are perfectly manicured and also very clean. The only set back and this has nothing to do with the Wyndham organization is the restrictive times at the pool. Do to the scheduled disinfecting and social distance, you have to schedule your pool entry. You will not be allowed in randomly. Understanding this ahead of time will save you the aggravation especially if you have kids. Williamsburg is a great place to visit - lots of restaurants nearby and food shopping as well. We will definitely go back and highly recommend this location.

Nice furniture, not crummy, saggy stuff. Indoor and heated outdoor pools. Mini golf. Was able to opt out of promotional calls on check-in. Good layout for kids. We had 2 connected units totaling 3 bed + 3 bath, 1 full kitchen, 1 mini kitchen, and a balcony.

Not as advertised. The resort was run more like a hotel due to covid 19. the pool was by reseevation only and you could only reserve the day before. it was a holiday weekend so there were hardly, if any spots even left open. Airbnb had it advertised that all of the amenities were open and only after booking and passing the no refund point, did we find out they were indeed not. The suite was clean but we were on the 3rd floor with no elevator and I have a bad back. Our bathroom had no lights working but thankfully we had a second bathroom and didnt need to use it. Nobody came in for housekeeping. our bed was never made and we never got fresh towels. I would not stay here again.

Love the setting. Had a pond outside our building with ducks, deer,and foxes. I liked the room its very cozy and homey. The carpets and curtains needed a cleaning but over all very nice.

The facilities were clean. Great customer service. Reasonably priced. The one bedroom has a refrigerator, washer, dryer, microwave, and a stove with two burners. There are also pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware to use. Basically, the rental is a one bedroom fully furnished apartment that sleeps up to four people.

Great location for Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown tours. The condos were clean and essential kitchen items available. Three pools helped to allow people spread out. The staff was friendly. Minor complaint is the parking spaces were narrow and landscape was pretty but could be trimmed to make it safer for turning out of areas. Appreciated the recycling containers.

Not bad for a resort running during a COVID pandemic. Most missed was the hot tub. Happily, the pool was open by appointment! Great accommodations. Very friendly helpful staff.

We had a wonderful time at the Club Wyndham Kingsgate Resort. It looked exactly like the pictures. All of the staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. Call very early to get on list for the pools due to COVID-19 restrictions theyre only allowed 75% capacity. Go to Copper Fox Distillery for a tour & sample taste of their own whiskeys. You wont be disappointed. So many restaurants, shopping & outlet stores close by that you have plenty to do in the area. Our room was sparkling clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We slept very well. Will definitely return soon and next time well stay longer !!

We had a great stay at Wyndham Kingsgate! They were very clean and safe in the face of Covid-19. The staff was helpful and they have done a great job of offering streamlined services for everyones safety.

Great place. Everything and everywhere was extremely cleaned. Entertainment rooms were closed due to COVID 19. Had to make reservation for the pool 2 days prior. Also call to confirm. The turn was 90 minutes. Once out they immediately disinfected everything. Would love to go back once COVID is out and enjoy completely this beautifulPlace.

We have been staying at Kingsgate since 1997. I look a guest this weekend and felt let down. Recent reviews indicated things had gone a little downhill, but seemed nit picky. However, it is uncommon to have to call to get blankets for the sofa sleeper, or having low water pressure for showering, sticky spots on the carpet, and missing salt and pepper shakers and/or coffee filters. Yes, COVID has minimized the amenities they may have offered, but they have eliminated the daily activities fee to compensate. The front desk staff and gate security are excellent.

Clean and quiet resort. The staff is very friendly. All the appliances are updated. There is a lot to do around the area and it is surrounded with great restaurants. I would def return!!!!

Our stay was awesome! The layout was perfect and peaceful. I truly enjoyed my stay. They even come to get your trash from your door unlike other resorts. Thats one if the most convenient services they have.

Easy Check-In, ultra-clean, tidy and prepared room!

The grounds are clean and there are usually lots of on-site activities. However, because of coronavirus restrictions only the pools (with limited reservations), mini-golf and tennis were open while we were there. The movie theater and arcade rooms were closed, as well as the hot tubs.

BEWARE of BED BUGS!!! Woke up 4am in the morning with a swollen, itchy, feverish arm & hand. Me & my husband were both ate up by BBs. they moved us to another unit that smelled as if someone died inside. Then moved to another unit that had ants in the kitchen & the fridge leaked water and the icemaker didnt work. Took an Act of Congress to get all of our items Heat Treated Properly. Everyone, except Jose, gave us the run around. Everyone tried to cut corners to get us out of here quick. Kept extending our checkout for 2hrs without initially giving us another night to properly finish treating our items. Keep in mind we were NOT allowed to take our stuff from the 1st unit. Therefore we had NO CLOTHES to put on after we washed or put on the next morning until some of our things were returned after treatment. WORSE VACATION EVER! Had to stick close by the room to make sure people were not rushing treatment of our items.

Very impressed! Not sure if it is because of covid, but this is the cleanest Wyndham resort we have been to. Unfortunately many amenities are closed, but there seems to be a lot to do under normal circumstances.

Growing up as a child experiencing Wyndham has blessed me with many memories. Unfortunately they have fell off but not to far. I am able to make memories with my babies as they grow older. I am hoping they are able to fix the little mistakes. We love Wyndham.

Wyndham Kingsgate was immaculate, conveniently located to many major highways, and had exceptional customer service. With traveling during these times for work, there was concern about the cleanliness of a hotel and Wyndham Kingsgate did not disappoint - it was immaculate and safe!

Clean facilities, super friendly staff, reasonably priced considering the accommodations. Would return.

This resort is a disaster. There is no communication. It took us over an hour to access our room because the keys we were given 4 seperate times didnt work. We unpacked after finally getting into our room to discover the AC wasnt working. The maintenance guy told us they knew about it because the people in the room before us complained. All the amenities restrictions in place because of the pandemic should be communicated prior to arrival. To only get 90 minutes per day (if you call before 7:30am because theyre all booked after that time) in the pool is something that might change peoples vacation decisions. I shouldnt have to set an alarm for 7 am every day while on vacation to make a pool reservation. At check-in guests should be given a flier listing pool hours, how to make reservations including phone numbers, mini-golf hours, etc. We were told we received $90 in restaurant gift certificates for being owners and they no longer do the 90 minute presentations because of the pandemic so just stop in and get your reward. We went the next morning as scheduled, got the gift certificates and then had a manager take them back when we said we didnt have 90 minutes to stay. We tried to explain what we were told at check-in and the manager took the gift certificates back! I would never come back here ever. Its been disappointment after disappointment.

Great place to visit minutes from Busch Gardens and historic Williamsburg. All staff on site were exceptional and friendly. Make sure to eat at the BBQ place nearby as it is one of the best.

The staff was almost bulling my mom. We stayed there on the way to a funeral. These people did not even care about the situation. They just want a sale. I was very unhappy with this experience.

Pulled in and greeted by the security guards at the gates entrance. Guards were very friendly welcoming us and explaining where everything was. Definitely a great first impression. Proceeded to the office to check in. Very friendly staff checked us in and was able to check in a little early. Our building was easy to find, everything was well maintained. Rooms were clean, had everything we needed and had a great view of the pond. Pools were clean, spacious, has a bar located by the pool, a tavern walking distance from the pool, gym was clean, had lots of equipment and a sauna. Large selection of movie rentals, game room with pool table, arcade games etc. Toddler room was great to entertain the little ones with safe toys, flooring, colorful walls, cartoons, etc. Fire pit was located near the pool along with mini golf course (not sure how many holes it was raining). Close to restaurants shopping and the interstate. We will be returning in the near future.

Drove here for 8 hours with three kids only to find out that the only resort activities available to kids are tennis courts and miniature golf. All other activities are closed and if you want to go to the pool you have to book it 2 days in advance and call in at 7am, otherwise ‘no pool’. There is only so much you can do outside of the resort with the kids in 100 degree weather, before they want to jump in the water to cool off, or do any other activity this place is advertising, yet don’t tell you that it’s closed. This Wyndham Resort is a joke. I wish they told me that currently they are only operating as a hotel, and not a resort, I would definitely try to find a different place. I am not going to comment on the cleanliness and quality, because it is rated as a 3 star resort, so that should clarify things for everyone. This is my first and last time here. They also tried to get me to buy into their ownership program, but I kindly declined.

The unit smelled of smoke (cigars/cigarettes). We tried an ionizer but it did not remove the smoke. This unit should not be offered for reservations until the smoke is removed.

The apartments here are AMAZING! Ours has 2 very spacious srooms with King Size Beds, and a bathroom off each. Lovely living room with a Dining room table that easily sits 6+. Decent size kitchen, Theres also a washer and dryer in the apartment.Theres an indoor and outdoor pool (handicapped access via electronic chair lift in each of the pools and hot tub) with a year round hot tub. Gym, mini golf, tennis, a wall of movies for loan. I almost forgot to include the sauna, Arcade and Toddler play area. Im sure there is more to do here, or not do if thats what you are in the mood for.It really is a very nice all inclusive resort!There are magic shows and a movie theater, I only came here to visit my Aunt and Uncle who stayed but I would definitely take my family here.

This place has always been a blast! From their pool to their arcade I havent had a bad experience. Every room I have stayed in has been clean and well kept. I would give 5 stars, however the arcade and movie theater is closed due to COVID.

Room was clean. Reserving for the pool use a joke. You have to book 24hours before youvwant to use. Staying just 2 nights and could not get pool access. For 3 teens.. Very disappointing. Not to mention i am a Wyndham owner.

Great resort with indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub, free arcade, tennis, movie theater and lots more! The unit makes you feel like your right at home! We plan to visit again!

The staff here are friendly and very helpful. Anything that I needed was provided. They even helped me carry my luggage to the room. Room was comfortable and clean. The bed was amazing! Ive never slept so well away from home.

Older accommodations, room was not supplied with adequate amount of towels for a family of four nor did we have supplies for the pullout couch. Extremely aggressive sales pitch which included numerous reminders how wydndam is a fortune 500 company, if so then wydndam needs to reinvest in their timeshare properties. And of course todays timeshare deal is good today only.

This nice property is very heavily used. Staff is very pleasant. We loved our location but the carpet is in terrible condition. Spots everywhere and huge area in the dining room from a leak from the refrigerator. They are full so there is no where to go.

Our host was Andy. We stayed with our daughter and her fiancee. There was plenty of room. There is a lot of advantages with staying here, unfortunately we were only there for a couple of days to go to a wedding, so we didnt get a chance to use all the amenities. We did check out some of them and they looked great. Our unit was very comfortable and clean. Definitely will stay again when were in the area.

Upon arrival or fridge was not working properly and staff was notified and they fixed it and brought us ice for our food while it was being fixed. The apartment itself was clean and nicely decorated. The game room offers free video games and even free use of game systems like PS4 and Nintendo. Pool was ok size bug it was very crowded each time we went. Offer a hot tub, baby poop, and even an adult pool completely separate from the rest of the pools. Provide a bar in the pool area as well. Indoor pool was next to outdoor pool. Free mini golf (we didnt do the mini golf)

Great hotel, but the people on the floor above us are horrible - stomping, screaming, running around till about 3 in the morning. Amazingly disrespectful.

We went last year and loved it although this year most things were closed, but we still enjoyed our stay.

Nice, clean, peaceful atmosphere. Family friendly. Nice activities on site. Not far from good food and other entertainment (bowling, theme parks, shopping, etc.). Would visit again.

This resort is very peaceful and relaxing! It is good for families and single people!

Great rooms, ours was beautiful and had all necessities. Many buildings, and has hot tub, indoor and outdoor pools, two game rooms, a workout room, rental of movies and board games, and a full schedule of movies and activities (just in our two days here, we saw Pitch Perfect three, wonder, and painted mugs and it was all free!) Nice restaurants and shopping nearby.

Very nice stay st Wyndham Kingsgate. Stayed about 5 nights. Room was great though no elevators doesnt help with luggage. Get first floor if you can.

The place was clean and the service was nice and it was a good vacation for my family and I.

Horrible. No toilet paper, one towel for 4 people, loud, broken dryer, 20 year old televisions, no housekeeping...

Great resort! Two outdoor pools(usually heated even in December but this year having problems with a gas line), large hot tub. Indoor pool, mini golf, fire pit, game room, tennis courts. The condos are spacious and comfortable but could use a little updating. Very close to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Busch Gardens and some great small Breweries!!

Great place for yourself and family! Free unlimited game play, heated indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, free movies rentals and theater! Definitely going back soon!!

The place was clean and lots of space. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We stay there for the weekend every year before Christmas to do our shopping. It is near lots of restaurants and shopping. Extremely happy with Wyndham Kingsgate.

My daughter and her family visited from Texas and stayed here for 5days. This place is nice,amenities were more then they expected from the friendly staff to the very fun game rooms to the free putt-putt golf. They had a issue with the AC not working and were moved to another unit with no problem at all very quickly.

Great resort, lots of activities for the family, beautiful settings. All amenities included, mini golf, arcade, video games, pool table... Indoor pool and 3 more outdoors. This place is wonderful for a family vacation.

Its all here indoor/ outdoor heated pool an hot tub.They even have a place u can make your kids a stuffed animal from scratch.Clean yards an nice staff.

It was spacious, easily accessible to all the popular places in Williamsburg.

They were not practicing social distancing at check in. Not informed of pool lottery charged for services we were not able to use
