Park has several trails! Most are shaded!! Done are well maintained and other trails are not well maintained. Honestly the paved area could use a new surface. The part that honors local soldiers is excellent. You can use this Park as a way to connect from the library over to the 9th grade center if you use a little section of neighborhood sidewalk!

The veterans have put ALOT of time into making this a great memorial for the other veterans who have made the extreme sacrifice for their fellow man and country. Its a really nice place to go and visit and walk around

What a delight to discover Soldier Spring Park. A small, quiet park, tucked away in a corner of our home town. Beautiful, respectful monuments and plaques are offered in the park thats great for quiet reflection or a picnic. Im a Vietnam Campaign vet, and I very much enjoy the monuments, which include the gold Star families. I highly reccomend Soldier Spring Park.

The memorial and informational objects were in great condition. Access to a nature trail seemed to be downhill from the memorial, yet I didnt see a clearly defined trail perhaps because one was overgrown. Across the street, I found a paved path that could be walked in multiple directions. The pavement was significantly cracked and uneven, but that didnt detract from my experience. The paved paths all cut through nature, and I left some paths unexplored. Exits to a ballpark, subdivision, and perhaps other areas were accessible off of the path. I rate my experience based on the memorial and the paved set of trails that are a part of this park.

I walk in this park 2 or 3 days a week. I love the mix of paved trails and gravel, shade and open meadows. Lots of wildflowers in the spring. Some areas have views of the surrounding area and down into the town. The portion of the park east of Thrush St is undergoing a transformation into a Veterans Memorial. Most of the park has a very natural feel too it, though its right in town. Deer and other wildlife are regularly spotted.
