Beautiful, clean park with restrooms and cold water fountains. Lovely little pond with turtles and dock. Lots of shades picnic tables. Swings of all sorts. Perfect place for play, as a park should be!

They have a great variety of art and a gift shop and also a place to get snacks!

Very clean and a nice circle track to walk.

Loved it. The splash pad was so fun and there is so much for the kids to play on. The trash cans could have been emptied and I have no clue about the bathrooms but for the most part I enjoyed it alot!

Really great place to take kiddos in the summer especially! Cant beat FREE!!!! Fun splash pad that is large enough for many many children, concrete is not slick so children can safely play without fear of slipping. Rails in place for safety!. Nice restrooms and water fountain available! Covered picnic area with lots of seating! Nice playground with fun spider web climb! Props to the city of Weatherford for providing a free place for families that also is healthy and activity friendly!

Very clean and nice park! Playground area for younger kids and older ones, basketball courts as well. Camp gladiator also uses the park occasionally. Definitely happy to find this gem!

Great location for, picnic or just playing on the playground. There is lots of room to play or do activities. I also like the fact that its very tucked-away. I would definitely recommend coming here. They do have a public restroom but no grills.

Nice little park. Plenty of equipment for the kids to play on, a large covered area with picnic tables, a nice sized pond for fishing and has a pier with fenced guarding all the way around. There is a water fountain spray area for cooling off. Finally, the parking lot is more than enough. Its concrete with stippled parking areas and sidewalks.

Good splash pad and little pond

This is a pretty nice park/splash pad! I just wish it was open longer than September, at least on the weekends. My kids loved the splash pad and checking out the turtles in the pond. There was also a bunch of books around for a program called look 4books that I think is awesome!

Great little hidden gem! Wasn’t too hot of a day but just right for water works and play things. The splash pad isn’t spectacular, it’s simple. Life needs simple things and loving times. Had a great time. Very clean and well kept.

The Splash Pad is as great way to let the kids cool down without going broke. We also go to play horse shoes in one of many pits there.

I was surprised cause I had a really good time with the kids there, the kids got to play with the water on the splash pad they played in the park there was lots of shade and picnic tables as well as benches(for its size) and when it started getting dark lights came on and the lighting was very good and last but not least we went fishing. I was also surprised to see how many people came to the park specially when it started getting cooler. Definitely one of my new favorite places.

Its ok. A good place for older kids. We try to take our 2yr old but there is only so much he can safely do. The splash pad was a nice addition.

My family have used this park for years. It is typically well kept. Lots of things for the kids off all ages

I think they should be some shade around the water area. and around the play equipment because the plastic does get hot.

Kudos to Weatherford, this is a nice little park with plenty of equipment for both big and little kids. The splash pad is fun, real bathrooms on-site, small pond for fishing (or turtle gazing ), & plenty of parking.

My God daughter and I went here and it was our first visit. She loved it. It was clean. It was really easy to find. They had clean public restrooms. Lots of seating around the splash pad and around the park which I love and a bunch more under a pavilion thats right there too. Most places the covered seating is so far away from the park. I will be back for sure!!! Oh and they have a pier and dock where you can fish or someone was fishing. Its a pretty nice place.

My kits love this park. I think there needs to be a little more for the younger kids.

Very good park if you have toddlers to preteens. Has playground equipment for several age ranges. A splash pad in the summer for the kids. Has a nice pavilion with picnic tables but if it reserved then you have no shade to sit under. There are a few benches along the walking track that rings the big field but no seating in the shade close to it. Horseshoe game area and basketball court. And the pond with the water feature is nice and available to fish in if wanted. Big plus in my book is the public restrooms. Because who wants to drag their kids and stuff to the park just to have to leave as soon as someone has to go. I think every park should have a public restroom, but thats just me.

Quiet and peaceful, and you can go fishing.

Good place for the kids to play in the water. Also, it is nice to have a restroom there.

The splash pad is kinda small for my 8yr old. There is a playground for smaller kids and a seperate playground for bigger kids. A swinging at each and a small pond and a grassy spot for picnics. There is a huge covered picnic table area to comfortably watch the kids play and an actual restroom on site not just a porta potty.

Its a great park, but I really wish it was alittle more updated. I look forward to the splash pad opening and I was very happy that there werent alot of wasp nest as some of the other parks in town.

Great park for 5 and under. Playground with a little splashpad. If your group has older kids they may get bored quickly because the splash pad is built to cater to toddler age. The park does have nice large shaded bench/picnic area.

Its okay. Far better than Cherry park but it seems all the highschool kids hang out here blaring their music like this was their first time in town.

Still unsure why 1. horseshoe pits were installed if we have to bring our own shoes...where do I even get horseshoes? & 2. after dark the high school diesel douches (or whatever) like to congregate here and theyre just annoying okay?

Fun park and lots to do for everyone

So like one of the play things had police tape on it and Im like, hm..

Splash pad for the children and a large covered picnic area. They also have baby swings, slides and other play equipment for children to play on. There is a pond were people were fishing.

Clean park. Water park wasnt open yet, but def plenty of fun. They have a horseshoe field too!
