Convenient and fun. Love that its spacious but also small enough to enjoy and not feel rushed to get all over the park. Definitely look forward to some expansion for some more rides but its a great place for adults to relax in the water and kids to play alongside. Being so close to home is my favorite part.
We had the best time here today. The facilities were clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Loved all the water slides, the lazy river, and the wave pool was so awesome. They even have an inflatable obstacle course. And they have a huge kids play area with lots of slides . We were so happy with our experience and will definitely be back. Our family was thoroughly pleased. We also recently attended their end of the year bash, complete with DJ, and an awesome fireworks display!! Thank you so much for a friendly and kind atmosphere to have fun in the Texas heat. And thank you for the wonderful memories created here. I highly recommend everyone get a season pass and enjoy this awesome place.
Disappointing, slow pace, dirty. They spent more time training their employees to bob their heads up and down left to right than they did on making the customers visit enjoyable. All of the life guards are like robots looking for the next drowning victim.Someone needs to step up and watch how the people are flowing throughout the park. We stood in line at one of the slides that uses tubes. I was going single and my wife and son were going in a double. It seriously took more than 3 minutes between people coming down. I assumed it was because there was a large line up top. As we stood there waiting I was counting the tubes and the people that went up and came down. There were only 3 double tubes and one single tube. So for the single tube you literally had to wait for the person in front of you to go all the way up then come down until the next person could go. That doesnt even make sense, especially on a Friday night family night. Before we left at 8:30pm (30 minutes before they closed) I wanted to make a couple of runs down the snake slides. There was nobody in line, I was the only person up there and it still took me 10+ minutes to make 3 trips down because the lifeguard up top had to get the all clear from one of the 2 other guards on the bottom even though I was the last person to go down any of the slides.I dont understand why they dont clean anything up. You would think they would pick up weeds, branches or wash the dirt off of the sidewalks, but they dont. The same dead vines were laying up by the line to go across the wave pool that were there the previous week. They could also do some sort of maintenance on the constant leaks the cause green algae to grow on the sidewalks.Unless something changes we will not be getting season passes again next year.
Had a wonderful time was with boys from 3 to 16 all had fun did not have to worry about any of them i have a bad hip and leg so while walking to table was having trouble a very nice young man name Andrew offered we a ride in wheel chair to my table very nice and polite and told me when ready to leave would help to car do not know what i would have done with out him the Best would tell anyone wanting to have a good time to go there
Love this placeVery Christian atmosphere. We just went todayWould recommend buying food else where the prices are high on that. But everything else in the park was fun for the whole family. Bring a cooler in for food and etc. It was fun theKids loved it
Always love coming here with the kiddos. Good time, appreciate the Twilight discount. Just wish there was a little more covered seating areas.
Good place to stay cool with the kids. Decent price for entrance and bathrooms were fairly clean for an outside facility used all day by children. All the lifeguards were paying attention to swimmers and the slide attendants were friendly.50% occupancy for covid made it way better too!
The park is small enough to let older kids go out on their own. Not many deep areas. Really friendly staff and lifeguards. Plenty of lifeguards on duty. Park was kept clean. Great ticket prices and music throughout the park.Food was overpriced and lines were 30+ minutes long.
Our kids have had a blast their this summer! They each got season passes! A nice perk was that each season pass came with one free ticket to bring a friend or their dad for instance! The park is clean and everyone is friendly and the music is all Christian!
This is a nice waterpark to go to. Has something for everyone, from big slides for older kids to a really large splash area with small slides for younger kids. The wave pool is nice and has an inflatable obstacle course. The lazy river is a decent size but hasnt had more than two floats in it. Im not sure if thats normal or a response to covid. The inner tube slides also only have about 4 tubes but at least you get to wait your turn in the shade. I would definitely get season passes to go.
So the water has decent family activities. Slides rides moderate fun. Biggest downfall is that there is minimal shade. The shade that they have is crowded with everyone. Good park for smaller kids and families. Go early before it gets to hot for lack of shade.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that my 9 and 11 year old stayed entertained with this park. While it has sections for little ones, there is plenty for bigger kids to do. Only down side, not a lot of shade, and food prices were a little high.
It was okay but probably won’t make another trip. It was small enough to let older kids go on by themselves, but a little too boring for adults. The lazy river was too...lazy? Not enough tubes and the atmosphere was lacking. The staff was friendly and I felt like my kids were safe. We went on a Sunday and they blasted the worst Christian worship music, when I go to the pool I need good music, I’m not trying to go back to church.
We had our sons 11th birthday party and the staff was kind and prompt. All the kids had a amazing time.
Very fun water park, we had a great time and wasn’t too crowded at all!
Second time here my son and I have a blast every time. Except the food hamburger was cold and the ranch was warm for the chicken wrap. Other than that employees are very nice and very helpful
Amazing water park. Had a lot of slides and fun things to do. Also amazing service. Would highly recommend
Love this place and the Christian rock they play! We love going here!
My family and I rented a cabana which was flooded and the ground was slimy and slick in certain areas granted it had rained but the drains drain out into the cabanas which makes no sense. As far as the food we ordered a pizza which was, well a pizza but veryyy expensive definitely not worth the price they charge for them 5$ a slice no deal when you buy a whole pizza. The wave pool which is something we were all looking forward to had no waves all day. The park feels itself was ok the kids area was probably the best part about it and I will say the lifeguards do a good job with keeping their eyes on the water and scanning the area. If you just buy tickets and hang out at the picnic tables dont buy food and drinks i would say its worth the 12$ online 18$ at the gate (Not 100% with the prices but its close give or take one dollar) as far as somewhere to go and throw a birthday party i would not recommend this place there are tons of other places that will give you more for the price you will end up paying after all said and done.
Had a great time, wish I could have kept my water shoes on during the rides but other than that had a great time with the family
Best place to visit with family, nice staff, slides are great and the selections of stuff to do with family are so good I recommend you going here if your looking into going to this place! Best waterpark I’ve been too.To all the people that say their feet are burning there’s a little thing called WATER SHOES you wear them so your feet don’t burn on the side walk a lot of the bad reviews have that so I just wanted to add that to my review so I could let you know that there’s an ida for you to bring water shoes! Have a great day.
I have a elderly mother who has trouble getting around and there was a worker there by the name of Andrew who wholeheartedly went above and beyond his duties as far as Im concerned to make sure my mother was accommodated down to or picnic area as well as back up to her pickup truck definitely would recommend to any family with smaller kids as well as larger really neat place
Very disappointing because this is where I live but I recommend going elsewhere. Wave pool had no waves for the 3 hours we were there. Lazy river had 3 floats total. Waited over 30 minutes to go on the slide due to only a few floats to use, and I went on a Tuesday. Get tickets online a few days ahead to save money. Staff was really nice.
So nothing over the top fantastic but incredibly clean and friendly. I will definitely return
Had a blast with the family.. Great place to go to cool off
Its a great place for kids just not much to do and the food is a little expensive.
Its more for family...my 13 yr old gets board real fast as there is not as much to do as like sea world aquatica or Hurricane Harbor....BUT I do enjoy the lazy river...hopefully yall can expand
My family and I always enjoy our time at Splash Kingdom in Hudson Oaks.
Had a wonderful time here good for family and friends
A Nice and Neat place for family fun
Great place to take the kids for a fun day in the water.
Very nice atmosphere for young kids to have a great time
It was awesome but my ears hurt to the touch for some reason?
Love this place. Very family friendly. With small kids, it makes much more sense to go here rather than the hustle bustle of other parks. Looking forward to 2020
Really great place with wonderful staff. Is it the largest water park? No. But they are local and do a great job. Lots of life guards. Great kid area. Wave pool with an obstacle course. Lazy river. There is a 4 lane race slide and a side by side tube slide.
Very good family place. Both my 2 year old and 6 year old loved it. There was plenty for both of them to do. My husband, 6 year old, and I had fun taking turns on the big slides. Wish they ran the wave pool more.
We had a blast when we went the slides were so fun.we had a great time super fun to. All of the snake slidds where so fun but a little scary there is a big drop! We loved it.
This place was awesome. Not a fan of the hills but it does make the slides better. Its low-key and fairly chill in the mornings so we didnt have to wait for anything. It was a lot of fun just hanging around and going on the slides. Loved lounging in the lazy river.
Friendly staff, happy place for kids, family environment!!!
They never turn on the waves, the food is too expensive, they took off the surf place
Had a teenage Birthday party for my son. The staff was PHENOMENAL! The park is clean and not overcrowded. They have earned some new regulars today. All of my guests were equally impressed.
My little ones love that place
It was really fun they just need to have more floaties for the lazy river
Great price and value! We love taking the family and relaxing in the cool water! Buy tickets early online, some days are cheaper than the movies!
When we go to Dallas and we to Freinds and we got to Tyler to see Freinds ms. Cantor. Greenville Tx.
We had a blast.. older kiddos didnt mind cause they got to walk around without a worried mom following them.
Fun park. Good rides. Nice staff. You can bring in purchased water but not refilled water bottles, but someone was willing to get us ice water for free after getting inside. Large kid play area. Christian rock for the background music.
Would have given them higher stars if it weren’t for the concrete burning our feet and leaving blisters. Me, my boyfriend, and our friend can barely walk due to the blisters on our feet, they need to put misters or have someone spray the concrete with water. Also when we went to ask for a bigger locker they made us pay for another locker and we couldn’t get our money back for the first one that we didn’t even use. The rides were fun but it was hard to enjoy it with the pain we were in. Overall it wasn’t worth the price you pay.
I work weekends and work extremely long hours! I went on a Friday afternoon and was able to enjoy it and relax. It was my first visit but left after buying season pass and will spend my “one” day a week off relaxing there!!
Weve been several times and its never super crowded. The life guards are attentive and everywhere. It doesnt have a tonof rides, but since the lines are short, you can ride them until youre sick of them!
On vacation I loved it kids loved it
Way overpriced. Spent $40 on tickets for me and my wife. Stayed for 2 hours. Got bored and left. Never coming back here.
Have had season passes last 2 years. It’s a good place to take younger kids especially if you live nearby.A few complaints however. There are some rules that aren’t very pleasant. They don’t allow water shoes which forces you to walk on very hot cement with little shade.Staff is all high schoolers that don’t put customer service very high.Worst part I think budgets are quite tough as they have refused to stock enough tubes or mats for any of the areas this year and last. Skimpy in the concession area too.I wonder how many years it will be around. I may come back next year as my kids (6-7yo) enjoy it, but it won’t be season passes.
This is a small local waterpark. Great life guards and wonderful toddler area. Staff is very friendly. The park is very clean and the locker rooms have decent showers.
They need to stop allowing baby diapers everywhere. Keep them things in the kid pool. Other than that the place is amazing and very Christian based.
Horrible had flying ants everywhere me and my 4 year old was bitten several times
This is a great place if you have a young child. There is more than enough for them to have fun for hours. As an adult it is fun as well if you dont go often as there are only a handful of slides but overall it really is for the kids.Price for a day is expensive but with a season pass it is well worth it. No cost for parking and while they have lockers to rent you dont need them as theft is really a non issue. Food is expensive, but if you have a season pass you get coupons that really make the prices great or if you get a deal through Groupon it includes lunch.Lunch lines can be long but lines for slides and to buy your tickets are usually not.
The water was very dirty and the bathrooms were so bad . No one did anything to make the bathrooms a little more tolerable . They need the mist to make theconcrete easier to walk on. The babies were burning there feet . The whole park needs a clean up. The money you ask for a ticket should cover cleaning up the park.
Great place for family fun and being able to watch your children. Its the perfect size water park most definitely.
This place was unexpectedly cool. It had an old west theme and Christian music playing throughout the park with some country mixed in. It seemed weird that the admission was cheap and it wasnt overly crowded on a Saturday in July. Only complaint would be there werent enough tubes. Line was longer to get a tube than to ride down the slide. We had a great time, wifey and son loved it too.
Its close for the Covid19
Small but perfect for my kids. Also everyone very nice and helpful.
Loved it!! It was sooo amazing!! Cooked my feet to medium-rare but Great overall
Price is pretty high.... its close fun and convenient but a large pizza is 35 bucks, admission prices vary depending on the time and day, but is pretty highly no matter what except for the twilight swim times....if it were cheaper we would go a lot more....
Really nice family aquapark. We loved the atmosphere and the fact that it was not very crowded...plus so inexpensive compared to others in the metroplex
Pretty Nice Water park! Water could be a bit cleaner but it is a family water park so... It is a quite a walk to the bathroom from lazy river. The slides are a long walk on hot concrete.
Great family fun
Love it! Perfect fit for our family values. Great environment and fun water slides.
Well it looks fun
Kids have a great time it is older and a few areas should see some maintenance
I never write reviews but I had to this time so others would know what a great family place this is.I have been to hurricane harbor many years ago when it was wet n wild but my husband and my 2 boys have never been to a water park before. This water park is not as big as hurricane harbor but it is cleaner and the staff is wonderful. The water slides are great and the childrens area has many different sized slides that my 5 yr. old really enjoyed. There are many life guards and they really pay attention to everything going on around them and communicate very well to each other when switching off. My family and I had the best time there and we have just purchased tickets to go back. I would recommend this park to anyone.
First off. I went to restroom upon arriving and they were nasty. Like mold in every toilet and very little toilet tissue and this is when they opened. The lazy river has no movement, you have to push yourself along. The wave pool had the smallest waves Ive ever seen, maybe because they put a very large obstacle right in front that blocked all the waves. The store wasnt opened and the water was dirtier than most places. I would go a little further for a better waterpark next time. Out of the 14 of us, I think we were all dissatisfied.
Great place to take the kiddos. Safe and fun
Enjoy playing there and close to my home
Love this place. Great place to take your family
My granddaughter loves going to the water park, we’ve had great times here! Staff is friendly, lines aren’t bad & it’s very family friendly! Price is pretty reasonable, especially for not having to deal with traffic, long lines & very expensive food at all of the metroplex water parks! Great local water park overall.
Was very pleased with this place. It was our first time there and we did it for our grandsons 2nd birthday. I chose this place because it was a smaller waterpark. Would choose it again because of the service we received. My husband is disabled and they went over and above duty to accomodate him. We rented a cabana and the person assigned to us was as sweet as she could be. Then when it was time to go, they helped my husband back out to the van. The only thing that was difficult was the chair my husband sat in while there but that was understandable. They dont expect their guests to just sit.
Love bringing my family here to jave fun the environment and atmosphere is loving will be here every week
Great place to take the kids! Fun water slides, a lazy river, and lots of places for little ones to play.
Always a fun place
They helped my disabled son do the wave pool obstacle course. They had several life guards in the water in case he didnt make it, and let him go all the way through. He would not have had that experience without you guys. Thank you so much, well see you again next year.
We really enjoyed ourselves, highly recommend, will go back.
Wasnt to crowded, was alot of fun things to do, price to get in was decent. But was not happy with lifeguards and way things were being ran.
Great day....
Family and price friendly also we had a blast!
It is a great place
Good because good
Great waterpark for kids and adults... love it
This place looks nearly new and is super clean. Lots of lifeguards who are friendly, professionally dressed and appear well trained. Throughout the day I saw them testing the water. The prices are reasonable at $19 for entry and $2 for a bottle of water. We came on a Thursday afternoon and there were short if any lines. Very family friendly. Most of the kids were 2-12 in age but the 13 year olds I brought were still having fun at close. This place is better than I expected and I highly recommend.
First off no outside food or drinks even if it’s sealed when your at the gate... so be prepared to have to buy their drinks or have to go to your car if you need one.We bought passes this year but honestly not worth it. It’s not worth the money to not be able to spend the entire day there and being in snacks and drinks. We won’t be renewing next year, there are plenty of other water parks that will let you bring in your own stuff.Just left there from my nephews birthday. My sister booked month ago over the phone and no one told her she couldn’t bring in outside cookies for his party. They didn’t even bring us water until an hour into the party and there was no way to purchase water because she rented the park before it was open to the public... so out all that together... can’t bring in drinks, can’t buy drinks.. have to wait until 11:00 to get a drink... unacceptable. The party host then took her paw patrol cookies away and refused to let her give them out.. she was told to pass them out in the parking lot... she wouldn’t have bout $80 worth of cookies if she would have been told she couldn’t bring them in... This is all really sad because this park has the potential to be a big hit in such a small community, but we won’t be returning.
Absolutely the best place to bring kids to have summer fun . Best lifeguards! They are outgoing, attentive, know my childrens names after just one month of going 4 days a week . Avery at Hudson oaks splash kingdom is my top pick for going beyond her job duties she is amazing . Lines for drinks can be a bit long and may be a bit time consuming.
