This is a top pick! If you are a beginner in canyoneering this is the spot for you. There is only one mandatory rappel, but you can certainly make it more (4-6 I believe). Type in the directions into google and look for a small pullout on the right side. Park, cross the road and the canyon is 150 meters down the trail. A great 2-3 hour adventure!
So much room for exploration in and out of the canyon. Not crowded at all on Labor Day. Will definitely revisit. Be sure you have a good car to navigate the bumpy road.
This was a quick and easy technical canyon. Fun 2 hours and really scenically pleasing.
Really crowded. It had gross, stagnant water that we had to wade through last time I went.
This is a private canyon with great slots for canyoneering.
Nice short easy canyon to spend a couple of hours. We went in early September and it was bone dry. Easy walk to start and short hike out.
There arent a ton of cool raps, and it takes a while to get here from Leeds, I probably wont do it again but Im not sad I did it in the first place. If you strike out on getting a permit in Zion this is a good backup.
Incredible slot canyon with an awesome 90 foot rappel. Fun obstacles and tall cliffs throughout the descent.
Went with family! Highly recommend.
Good adventure beautiful scenery
Fantastic introduction to repelling with fun obstacles along the way
This canyon is a great canyon for all levels of canyoneering.
Fun, short, but still challenging enough to have a blast with a group. The 100 foot rappel was awesome.
Cool rappelling, a little chore of a hike out!!!!!!
After 6 years Yankee Doodle is finally dry!
Never knew that it existed.... beautiful place
Were going back!!
Beautiful Place to be!!
