Not open now. bummer.
A great place to hike and its so close to St. George. I actually enjoy hiking there rather than Zion which is so crowded at times.
Wonderful place to go hiking g. Great trails and little river runs through. Would spend more time there next visit for sure. Great parking and camping spots looked awesome
Really fun place to Camp. Lots of cool little side Canyons you can explore. Dont be afraid to walk in the water you can see some pretty cool stuff just around the corner...
I should probably say my experience was bad so others will leave it alone, but that wouldn’t be true. It was amazing and gorgeous! If you haven’t made it out to it yet, you need to hit it up!!
An excellent hiking option off the beaten path. Perfect if you are driving between vegas and Arizona. It can get muddy at times so ensure you have proper hiking attire - this means boots!
All the information online made this seem like a place I wanted to visit. But when I got there the maps were so confusing and the trails we’re not easy to find the first time, then they were hard to navigate, So for me, it wasn’t worth the trip. There did seem to be a dozen or so semi private, and inexpensive camp sites, with tables shelters and fire rings, if that’s what you’re looking for, but after an hour and a half you’re going to be out of this place. There is one campsite within a few feet of Dinosaur tracks that could be cool for kids!
Perfect park for family’s as you can hike along the canyon, there’s much to do and can go as far and long as you desire. Highly recommend this to those that want a fun hike.
The signs are very misleading. Don’t go to the trailhead. Go to the campground. The campground has the good hikes. The other hikes (from the trailhead) are terrible and definitely not worth it.
Good hiking and great views. Go early as the parking is somewhat limited. There is a fee to get in..but if you have a senior pass gets you in .without additional fees.
Great stopping place to get out and stretch our legs. Facilities were nice with lots of trails and camping spots.
Beautiful rock formations. Breath taking colors. An easy hike for the whole family!
Beautiful! I loved the swings and the view!
Great for short hikes for families, lots of opportunities for practicing climbing and scrambling skills for the little ones.
BLM campground, near St George, has water, no power or sewr, no dump station. Delightful hiking and descriptive historical trails and archeological prehistory to discover! Fun and beautiful!
Great little easy hike with beautiful views. The water was low so no falls but still loved it.
We were there today and Quail Creek is completely dried up. This may be helpful to know! The Red Reef hike (along the dry stream bed) is still impressive. You need to arrive early for a parking place as parking is limited and this place is popular. The trails to the dinosaur prints and the escavated Ancestral Puebloan site are also fantastic.
Love visited this place
Beautiful park, with towering red rocks and several points of historic interest, including Anasazi ruins and an original pioneer house.
It is so beautiful!
Small park but good serious hiking trails.
Great scenery but very crowded
One of the most underrated hiking areas of the state parks in Southern Utah. You get the soaring four hundred foot cliffs you can find at Zions but with a third of the cost and a tenth of the crowd.
So fun to get out and enjoy nature.
Beautiful watery hiking
Great place to hike especially when the water is running. Very beautiful.
Closed unfortunately
I always feared my life is on the line every time I come here .
