I loved seeing the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and the Veterans memorial on the National mall. With mobility issues, the scooters everywhere to rent made the whole experience infinitely better. I hadnt been there since age 13. Brought my adult son this time who moved there before COVID hit and hadnt done any sight seeing. Everyone was masked this visit and staying away from others. It was a great visit.

Stunningly beautiful place, and some of our countrys most remarkable landmarks. Everyone should take a trip and visit. If you have kids take them its worth it. Just make sure youre wearing some good footwear, its a lot of walking thats all worthwhile. It was so beautiful during the day had to go back and see it all lit up during the night priceless. Ill highly recommend taking the trip for more than one day, its a lot to see, so if you can stay in a hotel it will be perfect you can see in during the day, and during the night.

Must see for all Americans. Timeless and priceless piece of history that looks more amazing than any TV show or movie could portray. Nighttime is my recommendation as everything is very visible and less crowded than the daytime. Very quiet peaceful and serene, great place to think and bond with loved ones, friends or family. A lot of people jogging, skating and riding scooters so keep your eyes open. All pathways are well paved and lit, but there are a lot of stairs leading up to the Lincoln Memorial. Parking is free after 8 pm on the surrounding streets. Heavily patrolled by cops and security, but not a lot of mask wearing by visitors due to being outside.

One of the best places I’ve been to. The National Mall is a beautiful park that reflects the pride of the USA. My friend and I took a scooter so that we could see everything. My favorite stop on the mall was the Lincoln Memorial and the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial. This place is very awe-inspiring and I would go again.

Highly recommend spending at least an entire day in DC to see & do all of the monuments and memorials. Youll want 2 days if you plan on going to museums. Unfortunately, ALL of the museums were shut down due to covid during our trip. Traveling during a pandemic is interesting; there were hardly any people at the national mall. We were the only 2 people at the vietnam memorial (see pic). Youll want to bring plenty of your own water and snacks. For bottled water it was at least $3 near the national mall. Bring plenty of sunscreen as well. You dont need a tour bus! Save $ and get healthy! I highly recommend renting or bringing your own bicycle or scooter. It is much easier to get around on those. We biked 10 miles in one day seeing all the popular memorials/monuments. But if youre not used to it, walking 10 miles might be difficult.

Cant beat it! This is the place if you want classic Americana in the Capitol. The National Mall is a great place for a walk this time of year. In spite of the virus, there were plenty of people out enjoying the sun and the moderate temps. We saw a number of the monuments, which were inspiring as always, and had a great afternoon. Finding parking can be tricky, but if you download the Parkmobile app, you can easily pay for street parking. The whole mall is walkable, and you can spend as much or as little time as you like exploring out just hanging out. Enjoy!

The National Mall is a great unification location. It represents the best place for all people. It represents life and liberty. My first march was the March on Washington with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., John R. Lewis, Dorothy Irene Height and a million others protesting. I was just turning 13 years old. Greatness impacted my life on that day! This is sacret ground from the Lincoln Memorial to the Department of Justice. We come to honor our dead and fallen soldiers. We come to raise our voices for freedom and justice. It is my honor, privilege and right to come to the big and small meetings when called. Continue the COMMITMENT! Continue to protest and let your voices be heard! VOTE!

Most memorials have been restored or are fairly new. Parking is available but you must walk to the memorials. Some memorials have steps and are not wheelchair accessible. During my visit I officiated a Wedding(you can visit my website by tapping the link below) and I saw people jogging, sightseeing, riding scooters and playing Frisbee.
