This park is really nice. It is close to the capitol and many other attractions throughout the district. There is a nicely sized playground, some walking trails and water fountains. There are are also some pretty good restaurants nearby.

Stanton Park is stunning when the Cherry trees blossom in Spring. That said, the park could be better kept.

Quiet spot to check out the cherry blossoms without the crowds. Small dog run area, fairly well maintained by NPS. Room for a few hammocks, beach towels, picnics etc

Its great to find such a fun and lively park in the heart of Capitol Hill. Often a wide array of activities going on, with long quiet spells in between to just enjoy the park. 4 stars only because Ive never gone to it to be there, only to pass through.

Great park for dogs. This is where Suki and I go for doggy social time. The back side near the church is an unofficial dog park. Its not actually a dog park, but well behaved dogs come here to play off by leash with each other in the mornings and evenings. Suki will be there waiting to say hi to all passers by.

A small city square. Very pleasant and well-used. A small fenced-off childrens playground (open to the public) is very popular with families. In the center of the square, benches encircle a statue of Major General Nathanael Greene on his horse. In days past, the surrounding neighborhood was known as Stanton Park.

Ive seen a lot of kids at the park as I come and go to work it seemed like it was a family atmosphere a safe place for kids to be so I decided if me and my granddaughter Olivia will venture out today and check out the park and to my surprise she enjoyed everything the sliding board the little toys that are left in the playground the Sea song The Rocking Horse and especially the other kids which surprised me this is a park I can be comfortable with bringing my grandkids to the other families there are welcome me and I really enjoyed that so until next time see you at the park

If you want to go where the locals go, visit Stanton Park. Its smaller than other parks in the city like nearby Lincoln Park, but Stanton Park is more inviting. It has an epic statue in the middle with open grass for people to have picnics. It has plenty of benches and provides the perfect local escape from the city.

One of the nicest parks in proximity to Chinatown to bring your dog or kids. Trees, grass and a playground. Just keep in mind it gets very busy when school lets out and the older kids dont always watch out for the younger ones.Great for cherry blossoms during blooming season if you want to skip the crowded Mall.
