A nice park for the area. It has a pavilion thats dated. But its ok. It would be nice if park service put more picnic tables for others to sit and enjoy the scene.

This is a smallish park for DC but has a pavilion to sit under (although DC has more scenic parks to have an event) and a small forest with some short, locally made trails (ie unofficial). Not enough for a true hike but good for dog walking. Ive seen deer, rabbits, chipmunks, and the usual city wildlife.

Grass, trees, a picnic table or two. One historical plaque. A nice bit of nature in the city, but not all that much there.
