Quaint neighborhood park.close to home. Some dog owners feel they dont need to follow rules by allowing their dogs off leash. I have dog aggressive German Shepherds (loves kids) and will attack if any dog runs up to them. To many times Ive had to yell at the owners to keep their dogs under control. One of these days is going to be blood bath but not our fault. It just pisses me off.

A small neighborhood park with play structures and a swing set. Large grass area usually used for dog owners.

4/23/13GREAT LITTLE NEIGHBORHOOD PARKThis three-acre park sits in a neighborhood not far from the walking trails. Thats how we found it. Headed home after a long walk we decided to cut through some neighborhoods and saw the playground in front of us. We had to stop. I refuse to ever walk by a playground without having a little fun. You should never be in so much of a hurry that you cant take the time to swing for a minute or go down a slide (well, I hate slides, but I do like swings). The playground itself is pretty small (at least compared to Ygnacio Park further down Oak Grove) but the field was rather large and had several trees. A woman and her young son played catch and my husband watched for a while before complimenting the kid on his throw. He said he wanted to give the kid some pointers to help his pitch but I pointed out its probably not a good idea to approach kids in a park :)If you continue walking down the street the park is on, youll eventually hit a dead-end, but theres a small staircase leading back to the Canal Trail in that court.
