I absolutely love homestead park. It’s a little gem here and not a lot of people know about it. I like taking my dog here. The gardens are also very pretty too! Also from here you can go to shell ridge and that also is a days worth of fun!

Walked around the open space gardens and meet some wonderful people. Beautiful and relaxing area.

Small & hidden dog-friendly park. Serene and private with a farm setting. The Howe house is nicely preserved but not much info is available for tours etc.

Very small and quiet. Has a cool trail that leads to Shell Ridge.

Area is nice, I did find ticks on the trail to shell ridge when I was there in March so be careful.

Public gardens available if you dont have a back yard. Also a little history if your interested in that kind of thing.
