I think adding the Kona Bay of blue slide kids place was a major success! Been here many years as a local, and this was the best visit weve ever had. I have a 2 yr old with a 7 and 10 yr old. It was the best for everyone. The baby pool with a fish slide was so entertaining. Also added the island for putt putt, sand castles, hammocks, and even extra tables there. Clean as always. Cooler pass is the way to go. However they do give wristbands for re entry. Can be pricey, look for groupon, coupons and discounts!
We enjoy the park, we bought the season passes this year and would give a 5star rating but the bathrooms need some major attention. The ladies showers only have 1 working and the drain spots have hairballs on top of them. Them mens as well is always messy from what my sons have said. Otherwise great family fun. Just would like to shower most of the clorine and salt off of me before changing clothes to leave.
We have been coming here for a few years. We have season passes and drive up and hour and a half because its a good value and convenient. The only reason I dont give it 5 stars is because they have changed their music. It used to be a good family, Christian values park with music to match. Now they play trending pop music. Its still appropriate for all ages but it really leaves me wondering why the change. Aside from that they have expanded a little bit to include a mini mini golf course and a badminton net. They added some hammocks and more tables also. Its made the lazy river a but dirtier now since all the sand is around it. They have a volleyball sand area also. Theres a few slides and a couple pools with a few different things in each. One has some smaller slides. They also have a nice splash pad for the little ones. Lastly there is a wave pool which is great, when its running but it isnt always wavy. Overall, I dont know if Ill renew my passes next year. It is a fun water park thats big enough to be fun for the day but not too big that its overwhelming or you get lost.
The slides were amazing me and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. The food tasted amazing. Very family friendly! And the snow cones were delicious.
The place is nice, employees are Nice. My kids enjoyed but one thing is this place messed up is their Restroom. Restrooms and shower rooms are dirty the changing table is too high. Not a friendly one for a small mommies. Sink and toilets are really filthy.
Able to social distance. Lots of sanitizer everywhere. Mostly did lazy River.Got a cooler pass and able to bring own food. Lots of fun. Great break.
I live 90 minutes away..However daughter and I went for the first time this summer and bought season passes and cooler pass the same day! Place is clean, staff is Super Friendly, food is fresh and delicious. As a Nurse and Medic, I am ectra picky about cleanliness and precautions. This Place is a 10! Hey Hawaiian Falls....Need Medical Staff Next Season? Im a CPR, Advanced First Aide and a Life Guard Instructor. LOL!!!
Pretty nice water park would recommend something on the walk ways. Pretty hot on the bottom of the feet if your waking around barefoot.
Safe and never too busy. Lines are very short. We paid to bring cooler of food and drinks in...worth the price. Great place to bring the kids. Employees were very professional and followed all safety practices during covid crisis. Im giving it a four star because they need one or two more thrill rides.
My kids had a blast!! There wasnt a long line for the slides, the restrooms were clean, and there was an announcement for half priced snowcones. I loved the music for the lazy river and the mini putt putt area.
My family had a blast..place is clean and staff is very friendly, we are definitely going back before summer ends..
Really cool and fun place for friends.
Love this place! Not too big, shady places to put your things and get out of the sun. I enjoy the lazy river and the kids love the slides.
Great local water park for kids of all ages. Some of the small childrens areas could use a little tlc though.
Love it close to home, great staff, best life gaurds Ive scene at a water park. and Justin the park manager is the best 100% customer service.
This place is great if you have kids under 12. Not only can they swim, but they can enjoy the slides, the lazy river, the waves & NOT to mention the SNOWCONES. My kids love coming here & they enjoy the watermelon snowcones. It is a bit expensive to get in I never been here but my kids have plenty of times due to the price. But if you can buy a $16 ticket from places is worth the go. Enjoy the sun the water the waves & yes the snowcones..
Reminds me of back home! Luau, festival colors! Aloha always! Luv this place. Family fun times.
Great visit, not too crowded and everyone had a wonderful day playing in the pools and on the slides.
Cleanest Big Brand water park Ive ever been to.
Thank you hawaiin falls I had fun and my family had fun too I hope I can come back soon and have fun again and she all the hot girls there
UPDATE, 13 SEPT 2020:We were invited back by management. We were greeted at the gate and had a nice day last Saturday.Like stated before: {The park is decent, clean and doesnt feel cluttered like some parks. They were not overcrowded. There seems to be adequate seating, and shade. (More than most other parks) they have cabanas you can rent with an attendant. Souvenir drink cups with free refills, the lazy river was also nice. Bathrooms were decently clean. I especially liked that you could bring a cooler in for $15. For smokers, I noticed you could get re-entry bands for your wrists. Social distancing signs, hand sanitizer etc were all present for those that are concerned about that stuff right now. The staff on the waterslides and the lifeguards (in general) were professional. At the front gate they were helpful & seemed to be happy to help and be there.}For our second visit nothing that was a positive on our first changed as far as the park cleanliness, etc. So I am pretty confident that they maintain this park nicely and on a sustained basis.Clean water, bathrooms, AND attentive (hard working, patient) staff!!!!! I wished more parents would watch their little kids as good as those hard working life guards did!!! Come on folks, dont leave your 4-8 yr olds UNATTENDED in the wave pool!Anyway.... I was highly impressed with all those families swiming that these lifeguards could figure this out, and get these kids out of danger (trying to swim around on their own alone).I have no doubt this is a well managed park, with hard working people who care about patrons and the upkeep of the park, and IF there is any problems, that will in a fair manner take care of any situation properly.PREVIOUS 3 STAR REVIEW:The park is decent, clean and doesnt feel cluttered like some parks. At the front gate they were helpful & seemed to be happy to help and be there.WHY ONLY 3 STARS?We left after 2 hours. When we purchased our tickets we marked special needs/assistance on my adult daughter ticket. She had ankle surgery 4 weeks ago & needs assistance along with her crutches and is sporting a neon green bandaged ankle. (Shes very noticably slow and obviously needs assistance to anyone that sees her)Long story short, her & her husband (who is mainly assisting her) were being told to physically separate in the pool like teenagers. She about cried. This effectively meant that she could not swim or get into the pools period and shes been looking forward to this for weeks. Shes been planning and looking forward to this 1 day since her surgery & for her husbands birthday. I DID SPEAK TO AN EMPLOYEE NAMED IVY. She was very helpful, and about 15 minutes later told us that she spoke to her supervisor etc, and that if it happened again to tell her. After she left my daughter was still alittle down, along with her husband, so we quietly exited the park after being there just two hours since it really impacted our afternoon. (A few other things occured, but they were small things that on their own are not a big deal)I WOULD SAY DEFINITELY GIVE THIS PARK AT TRY! because Im thinking our situation isnt a common problem (if that makes sense) and IVY did her best to help. Its just my daughter and husband were just so disappointed and down (not mad) that it unfortunately (again) effected the entire feel of the afternoon for us unfortunately.
Loved the friendly staff and they seem to be very tentative to everyone and everything...they have snacks and drink...
Are you open in September? I’m looking at bringing me family to your park. What months are you open and what months are you closed. I read you are a seasonal water park.
Great for the family and kids during these pandemic times.
Only slides are open, drive over 70 miles to bring a 2 & 4 year old splash time. Informed when we got here that they updated Facebook with the info
There is only a few slides, but considering it is a small park it was alot of fun and not overly crowded.
Great place. Large park lots yo do for the kids
Great day w the family..!and it was all around clean friendly and helpful.!
My family and I love coming here!
I love it jus one thing charge to much for one person. The company that I work for sale the tickets for $12 which is great but one day I need it extra ticket and when I got the window to buy one there it was $41 dollar I didnt pay it. I did get a little sad about that. Other than that is a great place to spend time with family.
Season pass holders from the DFW area know before you come to Waco your season pass well not work on food $$$
It took them a while to test the water. We mlm got there at opening and got in the water 4 and 1/2 hours later. Other than that is was fantastic.
Super fun and affordable! Meal deal and a day of playing rocks any road trip!!!
Really liked it, took the kids to get out some of there COVID 19 energy, and they loved. Yep Ill be back!!
It had enough water attractions to keep my group busy. After the rain halted the fun, we called it a day. We will return.
We visit the Mansfield location often. We live in Corsicana so each are about the same distance from us. I’ve always gone to Mansfield due to know they were still building the Waco location. Wanted something different so we went to the Waco location. Even though they arnt as big yet the experience you have is by far superior to the other location. A couple of example. The lifeguards here were very very well trained and attentive. I didn’t worry at all when my kids were enjoying themselves. I seem to have a fear of that at the other location. My experience was hectic there not certain if I didn’t keep two eyes in three kids at all time if they’d be ok. At the Waco location I was able to enjoy my time knowing that if one got out of my sight (10,8,&5) that they would be ok. Another example my daughter dropped my sons meal. We didn’t even have to ask for another. As she was picking it up off the ground a supervisor came to help and while I’m the process walkie talkied the kitchen to get started on a new one and it was ready when we got there. They were prepared to replace all the food but I told them we needed just the one meal. My last example will be a group of off duty employees. They were enjoying the park in the lazy and saw a visitor breaking a rule by hanging on the bridge which seems very dangerous. They nicely told the kid to not do that. That he was an off duty lifeguard and it wasn’t safe. Instead of taking advantage of their off time and knowing supervisors while being a guest and having some sort of advantage they enjoyed the park followed the rules and still helped others follow the rules as well. I stayed for hours here when normally I’m mentally exhausted from Momness way before I was today. Thank you Hawaiian Falls Waco for having a nice environment and attentive lifeguards and staff so moms can enjoy with a little less stress.
Expensive but me and my daughter had fun just the two of us
Great family fun for all ages!
So much fun..clean.Friendly staff..
Keep calling the phone and its busy all day every day. Yall need to check you r phone lines or update your phone. Do you expect us to just drive all the way there to take a chance if yall are open or not?
My kids had an awesome time! This was our first time going. There was plenty of things for them to do especially for their age group 3-7 years old. I will definitely be going back again
I love it and it’s so fun but it could be cheaper. And there could be a diving board.
Super kid friendly
Awesome park! Love everything about it. Wonderful way to spend the summer!
Fun for the kids and lifeguards were great!!
Its okay. Not enough floating tubes for the wave pool. I do like how we can bring food and drinks into the park. I expected more for the price. One attraction was closed all day and the park closed 30 minutes early for a party. Those admission prices didnt change though.
Not quite as extensive of a water park as what you might expect from a Schlitterbahn, or something like that, but well worth the trip! Even on a Saturday in July, it wasnt so crowded that you had to stand in line forever to go down the slides. While there were plenty of people there enjoying the park, it was nice not to have to deal with Disney type crowds. The attractions were nice and well maintained, and the prices were decent too. I would recommend this park for a nice family day trip.
Staff was very rudy when we were bare footed
Cool place to sit and enjoy with family and friends
Been here a handful of times. Perfect for the kids. Not to crowded. Lines arent to long. Price isnt outrageous. But the staff talks and plays around with each other and youre constantly waiting on them to get done to get on the ride. They have staff walking around everywhere but not enough fornthe rides. Had to wait over 15 minutes because one had to go back and forth between two different rides. The snow cone stand took over half an hour and I was only behind 3 people. Wear water shoes because that concrete is no joke.
Loved this place! There is a spot for everyone from babies to adults and so many alert life guards which as a parent, gave me so much piece of mind knowing I had an extra set of eyes on my children! Would definitely visit again!
Very clean. Friendly staff. Food was your basic fried and quick throw together. My daughter is 4. She had a blast but by next year she will be leader to do much more rides and slides
I went with my grandsons this weekend .... they love the place. We had an AWESOME time and they made me do some of the slides... fun family environment, especially on a hot summer day...
Everything was amazing. Lifeguards at the kiddie pool were all on point. Very clean place. Price wasnt all that bad. All my children loved it and are Ages 3-12. I say pay the $15 to bring in your ice chest.
Lovely, clean, famil-friendly establishment. It wouldve been nice to know that they were closed last Thursday (because I planned a family trip around it) but our trip today was just fine. Friendly, chill staff
Lots of good slides .
Absolutely amazing place to cool off and have a great time with the family. They are a little pricey so get there early and stay all day. Awesome life guards and very well trained. All the staff are very friendly. Thank you Hawaiin Falls for a great time
We like the place first of I’d give it 5 but I bought the season passes that allows you to bring 2 buddies in for free when we got to the gate the lady told us that the buddy system doesn’t work on holidays something the website did not mention also the bathrooms are not sanitized or smelling clean smell real bad of urine
Great park, everything centrally located. Some expansion going on so thats exciting. I just wish there was a better play structure for smaller kids.
Loved this place! So much to do. The staff was super friendly and we had a great time. The only negative thing I can say is that lockers are $10 - $15, thats pretty expensive.
We’ve been to both this location & the Garland location every year (garland due to family there). We go weekly to hf with season passes. The Waco location is awesome! The life guards are on point & watching at all times. They are constantly testing with the dummy doll. I see supervisor present at all times walking around and watching their team. I feel that my children are safe at this location. Garland location the life guards aren’t on top of it like this location & have vocalized it was no biggie when children climb up a child slide. They also arent moving their heads up and down looking at the water like the life guards at Waco location. When it comes to customer service & safety this location is 5+stars!
Nice local waterpark. Not super exciting but a nice place to cool off on a summer evening. The staff is very young as ed could use a little more training on courtesy, especially the food cart.
Great fun for the family!
We love coming to Hawaiian Falls! Theyre a great sized park for us. Not too big where you get lost, but not too small where you get bored. My kids like it and its not overpriced. Were planning a trip this year.
My kids love being in the water. It can be crowded but its open enough that you dont mind all the people. Its a great place to take the kids and have a fun exciting day with family.
I love this place my first time going but definitely not my last
Pretty fun. Smaller than the pictures make it look. And wave machine is on like a 15minute timer. Best ride was the drop slides.
I love that they have 2 days each summer for Champions to attend free! They are very considerate to the families without forgetting their staffs needs.
To get in it took us over 25 minutes, and thats cause there was no line. Employees work extremely slow, they didnt know what they were doing. The water park was pretty cool, it was just getting in that was a bad experience, seemed the employees ate SLOTH!! As I said the park is cool, nice family atmosphere.
Nice time with my family. Cant complain. Wish it was bigger but good enough for me and my family.
We had a really fun day. This is a smaller water park that seems to be more geared toward smaller kids. If you have kid from toddlers up to age 6 or 7, they would love this place because there are so many pools and activities for them to do. There are a few water slides for the older kids but one of them was out of commission for the day so only maybe 4 slides for the older kids. My personal favorite was the lazy river which was an attraction that the whole family enjoyed together no matter your age. We rented a cabana and the girl who was assigned to take care of us was amazing!! We didnt have much for her to do but If we needed anything, she took care of it!!!Since its summer, Im not sure why the park closes so early. I am from another state and I believe the water parks there close at 9 or 10pm. 6pm just sounds really early to me at this time of year, especially if you are a season pass holder. My 3 year old grandson had been looking forward to going to going here for weeks and he absolutely loved it. That is why I am giving it 5 stars. If it were just me, I would give 3 or 4 because they need to add more rides/attractions for older kids and adults (kids at heart) and the other reasons I listed above. All in all, a great time was had by everyone and we were treated well!!
We have season pass and it was a big mistake because you even don’t want to come there to spend your weekend and have fun, stuff is horrible, those teenagers who are working there don’t even know what customer service is, how to greet people and make them feel welcome at this water park, very poor service, life guards act like they are police, rude and disrespectful, always tell you what you can’t do, and they are not saying that nicely, if owner of this place really cares.... I would be embarrassed to have stuff like that. You should do some kind of training for those kids and teach them how to speak with people nicely with respect. Horrible place just because you can’t feel there welcome.
It is the start of the summer season and this park is a hot mess. Lifeguard issues and cleanliness is bad. There is mud and dirt in all rides and the wave pool was shut down most of the time we were visiting. Definitely not worth the cost of entry.
Lazy River needs cleaning, 2 rides closed due to staffing, and long lines for food and drinks. Typically enjoy other HFalls, but this one seems poorly managed.
Good place to spend the day..BUT if your going to get something from the concession stand be prepared to WAIT!!! They are REALLY SLOW...Took me 25 minutes just to get a hot dog one day.
Kids enjoyed themselves!!!
You all need to get it together!!! Over 70 mins, yes that’s over an hour we’ve been in line waiting to get in! There are count it.....FIVE employees at the window and 1 person working it. Then there’s 2 more people in the other enclosed office that took 1 person in line to help them closed down again. There is literally a line out into the parking lot right now! There were only 4 people ahead of us and yet 70 minutes in we are still waiting in line. This is seriously ridiculous people!!!!
Only four stars because the one time we ate there the buns for the cheeseburgers were moldy. Other than that, it is a great place to bet the heat. The staff are usually pretty nice and helpful. We spend a few hours a couple of times a week here.
Kids had a blast. Not as big as expected but for the price, well worth it!!
I cannot believe I live in Texas where the temperature is up to a 100 throughout August and most of September and Hawaiian falls is not open except on the weekends. I realize kids are going back to school but there are other kids that dont go to school yet there are parents would love to go there are senior adults that would love to go to a pool and since this is the only pool we have in Waco yall are cheating us by not leaving it open during the day for seniors for other people that have small children that do not go to school. Does not make any sense to me. You are cheating yourself of money to be earned. You say a lifeguard problem? Hire Adults. We know alot of friends that would like to lifeguard and earn extra income. We will never figure out your reason.
Just big enough for families to enjoy without the crazy lines at other parks. Can’t beat free parking!
Great spot for the family. They keep adding stuff every year and my family loves going!
Fun for the family. Kid friendly. No huge crowd
We buy the season passes as the grandkids love going there and while the oldest hits some of the slides, mostly we hit the lazy river, wave pool, and the those fake logs that they have to travel over with out falling off. We are always on the move as we keep close eyes on the kids. With bad knees, I can only manage to get up the big slides once but the grandson and I enjoy the ride down.
Lifeguards are friendly and not dictators like the waterpark in round rock(see my review there) all and all had a good and relaxing time.
Its looking a little rundown but they are putting in some feature items. We were at The lazy River and they were adding a bridge. Kind of exciting to see what happens.
Great place for a day with the kids. Great family fun and would recommend this place to anyone.
We went today with myself, my mother and two children aged 8 & 12. This park would have been great with the exception of us paying $25.99 per ticket for the day only to stay for 1 hour 45 minutes. We road each slide one time and spent the remainder of the time eating lunch so we didn’t have to stand anymore. The concrete around the pools is EXTREMELY HOT! Too hot for adults to stand on, much less children. As we topped the slide stairs (running from pain) we had to stand at the top where the steps are even hotter! We have been home, showered and DOCTORED blistered feet. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Tiny children were crying at the top of stairs in lines. We requested to wear flip flops but were told water shoes only. HOWEVER WHEN WE ENTERED THE PARK WE WERE NEVER EVEN TOLD.... the entire park is like walking on a frying pan, you may want to leave and buy water shoes.I hope this addressed. If not, I wouldn’t be surprised if people take legal action for injuries. My suggestion is that if you require water shoes, set up rental for crocs or off brand... you make more money and children (OR ANYONE) doesn’t get hurt.
Cool park has basketball i heard yall have new stuff is that true?
Had a good time with my nephew & husband! They have added more slides and food options, including Dipping Dots ice cream! The food choices & prices are reasonable enough to not have to bring your own ice chest. The entry fee is a little pricey for what is available to do, but if you get there early enough & stay all day, you feel like you got your moneys worth.
Overall the water park is ok one area that definitely needs fixing is the food concessions. I have a season pass so I have been to the water park many times during the summer and on different days. One area that is broken is your food. They have zero training, zero management support, zero managers around to help them, zero customer service skills and zero organization. You all need to get your fact together. 30 minutes to place an order, stand in a second line repeat what you paid for and wait another 30 minutes. Yes an hour for one hotdog. Everyone always complains but nothing is ever done. Does on deaths hears. One lady asked for a manager and when he came to the window he gave her attitude with no apology. The staff is only as good as the management. I say next season start with new management from the top down.Speaking with other staff no one is happy to work their and many are no shows because of the management. You wounded why numbers are down? Why does it tack an hour for one hotdog? Why is it no one cares? Why are all the managers hiding?Hello Hawaiian Falls Corp office. End of season say, Your Fired!
Ok for family time. Food and drinks are too expensive. Pay the cooler cost and bring your own stuff.
Nice out door waterpark. More for kids than adults but nice. Concessions could use more options but then again it is more for kids than adults
Small water park...concessions are pricey, but when hungry enough it will do. Overall the park is good place for locals to cool off. Too small to be a destination trip stand alone, however pleasantly situated to be a side diversion of you are here just to see the silos in summer.
