This is a great place to go and walk with plenty of people around. My dog got plenty of attention. There were a few groups taking photos. It was easy to park and had access to a bathroom I didnt use.
Beautiful morning for a wedding. I loved helping this bride and groom. Great backdrop. Clean, easy to find and not crowded.
Good place to take a walk. You can see some turtles and other nature animals. Very peaceful.
Beautiful, stunning disc golf park. One for the bucket list for sure. Very HOT during summer on the front 9 but the back 9 is shaded and tolerable even in 95 degree weather. Just a wonderful place to go just to see it.
Beautiful trails along river and in woods. Usually not crowded. Great place to spend a couple of hours.
The park is beautiful and the layout is nice BUT the stickers are horrible. Our shoes and pant legs were covered in them. Ants are pretty bad too but only in a few areas.
Beautiful park with river walk and Frisby golf, horse shoe pits, boat ramp and rest rooms
I went on an hour and thirty minute trip from Fort Worth to Waco just to go to the park because theres a LARP group (Amtgard - CK/Heros Pass) that meets there weekly each Saturday at 2PM CST and I was not disappointed with the location and of course I had fun fighting with the other members of the group. 10/10 would visit again and I plan on going again in a few weeks!
This was a wonderful outing with the family in Waco. The park offered many cool things to do such as feeding the ducks which they were thrilled about, the playground area, and walking across the old the foot bridge. My mother grew up here and told me stories about that bridge during a time when cars still zoomed across. This park also has a recreational center with other options when open...Just an all around great spot!
Pack your food from nearby restaurants. Nice place to sit and enjoy
Great walking trails with views of the river and bluffs
Great walking area. The bulldog loves it
Love this place!! Great disk golf course; if you visit March - November bring bug spray
Amazing disc golf course. Leave your lunch at home cuz this place will eat it
It was nice and quiet very relaxing and have a great view of the Brazos
Great place to get my 2 kayaks on and off the river...plus the fishing isnt bad either
(Disc Golf Course) The back nine holes are brutally hard, and I love it. It is all really well maintained. The course layout has a few holes where you may lose a disc, and quite a few where you may need to hunt in the woods. So its probably not the best course to learn on, but they do have easier tee pads, so you could start playing those once you have the basic throwing motion down.
Beautiful huge great place for walking, canoeing, and outdoor fun
Great place to walk, and just get away.Just dont go, when there are events there. No peace. Hah.East side of Waco is known for being the BAD side of town... But havent hard of anything bad, around that area.
Its amazing place for a date
Had a good time there
We just needed a picnic table and a bathroom plus a little area to toss a ball around for the kids. Next time, I will take horseshoes to take advantage of the courts!
Real nice park, plenty of rest rooms and easy walking paths. Scenic along the Brazos.
Excellent disc golf course
Well maintained, very difficult back
Great disc golf course
Great spot to catch crappue, small mouth bass and blue gill perch. Park is well taken care of
Beautiful area on the Brazos River. Theres a nice, long walking/biking path, bathrooms, shade structures and lots of big trees. Watch out for the burrs in the grass!
The sun was setting and OMG a GIANT SWAN CAME SWIMMING BY!!!
I love this park. We host our annual Pride event there and its just amazing.
Great park to walk along the river. Has a boat ramp, nice views and walking paths. Plenty of parking.
That is no doubt the best boat ramp in the city ......Very lit up at nite.Lots of good parking spots and the ramp is just perfect in good shape
Its a good place to walk/run or just otherwise get outside. Theres gazebos for social gatherings and a nice, paced sidewalk to get around the entire park. The sidewalk also connects you to Cameron Park.Brazos Park East is a pretty civilized park in general - theres that frizbee golf game there and signs that have QR codes for exercises. I prefer more rugged terrain, but this park does (for me) in a pinch.
Nice place to relax, jog around the water, play frisbee golf, enjoy time with your family
Good place very refreshing big river wow much nature epic also its cool to see the big cliff by the river. also good trails to walk on. sun and shade which makes it more refreshing and also clean.
It needs to be upgraded. Bathrooms need to be unlocked.
IT was good i got a big bazz
Walk out of the darkness ....Sept 2019
Beware of disc golfers! But pretty great otherwise
Its quite peaceful and there are plenty of walking trails to exercise or just find some solace in nature!!
Its a great park with a view of the cliffs of lovers leap. really underutilized most days and has the hardest/longest disc golf course in town!
Looks and feels neat
The beast is the best disc golf course Ive played in Texas
Clean and nice environment
We tried to take our long haired chihuahuas there. They ended up with thorns all along their undersides and in their pads. We had to pick them up and carry them back to our car.
Nice and quiet park with hardly any shade to park under on a hot summer day. Boat ramps, trails and pretty views of the Brazos!
No public bathroom. No playground for kids. Great for walks and horseshoe games.
Clean but really hoping the stickers go away. Had tons stuck in my shoes from walking in the grass.
Great place for family fun!!!
Disc golf course, boat ramp. Nice access to the road as well as the river. Great views.
Always fun at the River. Great family time
Beautiful views of the river and nice sidewalks for running or walking.
Perfect spot to have a relaxing outing in the canoe.
A very nice place.
Amazingly difficult disk golf course. Also live music here sometimes. A boat ramp, and horse shoe pits
Its so relaxing, BEAUTIFUL and clean areas
Very beautiful and full of life a great place to sit down and have family time
Worth the drive from Houston to play DG
Awesome park to bad the flood waters were so high
Beautiful disc golf course the only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is cuz I always lose a disc
Really a bunch of us (25-35) went there for a picnic and cook-out and sort party. It was really rather windy, we still had a very good time, and enjoyed ourselves very much. Brazos Park East has a boat ramp, covered picnic tables, and a large barbecue grill. There is also very, very much room for all kinds of activities. Lots of room for all kinds of fun.
Nice clean little park. Unfortunate that its separated from the rest that is to offer in the area but that can be a good thing for some folks. There is a boat ramp here too with more than enough parking to leave your truck and trailer.
Nice place to fish at.
One of my favorite spots in Waco! Great walking trail and disc golf spot! Never felt unsafe out here
A lovely place tucked in Waco texas.
River was way up and flowing fast. Boat ramp was closed and walkway under water.
Beautiful park, lots of walking trails, well kept, and diverse activities.
Nice to see the river level.
So beautiful. My kids and I love it here.
Relaxing
Love the atmosphere and scenery
Whether youre here to play horseshoes, fishing, disc golf, ride or walk the sidewalk trails, or just take in the scene, this is the place for you. Casual walkways cascade along a Tier A Disc Golf course that hosts the Waco Charity Open annually. With multiple boating ramps this park is by far one of the greatest gems of Waco. It also has a full horseshoe pit which has meetings and open tournaments every 4th Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. A great place to bring your family if youre an avid outdoors-person..
Beautiful part of Cameron Park. Nice paved trail and even a tributary. Also has bathroom facilities and a covered Pavillion. We are definitely going back!
Beautiful areas, only 1 building with male and female restrooms.
Great park for walking with kids and pets
Water was a little high but nice place for a walk.
Very beautiful place to explore, clean and well maintained. Thank You to the people who care for it.
This is a great place to walk if you have children. Its less crowded, less dangerous overall in terms of rocks and debris, etc. Nice walking path right next to the river and plenty room to throw a frisbee or kick a soccer ball or throw a football, etc.
Peaceful
Clean plenty of room could see the boats in the water.very relaxing
Excellent walking trail around 2+ miles long. Connects to larger Waco Riverside trail. My wife and I enjoy the path through the forest the best.
Favorite place to BBQ and fish
Park is nice and clean. Not good for fishing! Didnt catch one not even a bite.
Wonderful! We fished and found crawdads!
Its a great place to take your family and to go fishing
Great place to take a walk has restroom and picnic tables great views.
