Literally have been going here every other weekend.. And its great. The admission was $35 at the beginning of summer, and understandably it could increase peak season, but within one week the admission is up to $50. Went on Saturday and took the cooler, as usual. Was about to get into the river only to rudely be informed that we had to pay for a cooler float ON TOP of the admission price. So we had to walk back to the check in shack, and purchase a $10 cooler band. They claim that the higher rate is to keep numbers down, but it was literally PACKED EVERYWHERE!!!!

Came here at opening on a weekday and it was completely empty. My girlfriend and I had the slides to ourselves and the weather was great, couldn’t have asked for a better time. They did recently raise the price for the slides to $25, but I think it’s well worth it, especially with the changes they have made such as turning the pool into actual cement and not just dirt and same for the lazy river. They also added he surfing which is super cool as well!

I loved my time there! Prices are great make sure to bring your own food and refreshments!...and lots of them. We all will return with more people to the party!

Had a great time at BSR Cable Park, Chilled in the lazy river for a few hours, met some really great people, the staff was extremely helpful and helped point us in the right direction when it came to parking, or directions to specific place in general. Checking in was smooth and easy, fun and professional and welcoming! Short and sweet but helpful they did their best to keep the line moving and avoiding a stand still line. They do stop you before going into river and pool area to check coolers for glass, which they made easy. Overall we had a blast will definitely be planning another trip from Dallas there again!

This place is best described as painfully fun. The slides are an absolute blast but if you don’t land right it might hurt. I saw so many people landing the wrong way. They provide you with life jackets which are mandatory. I don’t know why they have videos on YouTube with people going down on bikes and without jackets. Also be extra careful with your GoPro’s as atleast a few are lost every day.

Had a great time just me and the wife. If we wanted to bring our 4 year old, not a lot of options. Overall a great time, the slide was epic. It takes more than one time to get the feel for it, but gives you the adrenaline rush you might want.

So much fun today. Extremely grateful to BSR for their wonderful activities and the excellent safety measures during this dreadful pandemic. Our grandchildren enjoyed a great day; 16 years old to our 14 mo old. Something for us all to enjoy. We will be back again soon.

Definitely not at 50% capacity!Entire parking lot was jammed packed, people crammed together in the pools and water.Spent 15-20 minutes in line each time for the WakeBoarding, people cutting in line and the employees dont care or say anything. The cables got jammed up several times, causing them to shutdown, adding to the long wait times.Slide was just OK..Lazy river was nice but way to crowded! Kids out of their tubes, throwing balls around and moving upstream splashing and running into people.This place could be fun if the employees actually paid attention, and if the rules actually enforced. Seemed no one really cared.Cabins were pretty nice, but pricey.Not sure if I would come back

This place is awesome! Hats off to the owners. The only drawback is the vaping, cigar smoking, cigarette smoking & especially the marijuana smoking. Literally smoking dope in front of little kids & next to other families trying to enjoy the park. They need to implement a 100% ban on all smoking/vaping. We moved three times to try & get away from it. If it wasnt for that, 5-star for sure. Top end park & always adding to the experience.

My best friends, sister and I went June 16th. We bought an all day beach pass. The beach was clean, the water was nice. But the size of the beach pool was rather small. Our main problem was with the staff and customer services. There wasnt direction whatsoever as to were we needed to go for the beach. The lifeguard on duty was rude. The worker inside the surf shop handing out wristband was rude as well. They both thought my group and I hadnt paid for tickets because we didnt originally have wrist bands because the direction of needing them and where to get them wasnon existent. The worker checking our bags wasn’t helpful either and he was the first person we met. It would have been nice to have directions. My group and I will not be returning to the park. Also we were very disappointed by the bathrooms. The bathrooms where tiny, smelly and in a trailer. Be prepared for very little changing space

I had a great time at BSR when I went with some friends for the lazy river! I admittedly got too drunk and a certain employee named Heather really saved me! She helped me find out where I was and to find my friends even though I was acting like a drunken jerk!Thank you Heather and all the employees who were so kind and helpful ill definitely be coming back!

I will never darken their door again.Reserved a cabin months in advance and had the reservation cancelled due to repairs a week from the scheduled check-in date. I cant get a live person on the phone.I suggest that you keep your expectations low if you patronize this place.

Customer service is second to none. Staff is super down home, friendly and extremely knowledgable.

Over priced $35 for just slides and a River Very small area. Staff at the beginning was great, but we had staff search our stuff twice in the park saying “oh we had a suspicion” and we had nothing (our group was Hispanic). We came back from the lazy river to see staff searching our cooler once again AND WE BARELY HAD GOT THERE!!! There’s people smoking and drinking, not a good place for kids as well. Not coming back it’s not worth it !

Oh my gosh the slides are AMAZING!!! So much fun! Can’t wait to come back!The lazy river is so slow so make sure to get a cooler tube so you can bring food and drinks with you.I love this place so much!

I planned a family reunion at BSR CABLE PARK. Communication by email was great with Miss Darling. the facility was very nice and clean.All members of the family had something to do. Us older ones had a blast watching the younger ones come flying off the royal flush! and a few brave older ones tried it too!

So its a small independent water park outside of Waco, TX. You essentially pay for a slide and a lazy River at the cost of 35$.(additional wake park and surf park for extra $$$ lol) There are fire ants everywhere, the bathrooms are all porta potties, and its an incredibly small venue with limited parking. Save yourself the drive and go to a beach or water park, this isnt worth your time, money, or fire ant bites.

The lady with a hat and green chair cut in line and then had an attitude when called on it.It’s funny that they have “ no cussing” signs, they should add no nudity to it. On our way out we saw a man naked in a see thru tent

I’ve been here twice and I will be a customer for life, or until my back gives out!My first visit was 3 years ago.My recent visit was for my 21st birthday with my sister and might I say they’ve cleaned this place up. Used to be a lake lookin area, now it’s completely clean and super fun. I would definitely recommend any and everyone to go here if you’re looking to have a fun weekend!

This place is purely amazing! Its a surf paradise! The surf resort is EPIC, the staff is always nice and welcoming. They keep the stoke high! Cant recommend this place enough and its been getting better and better since I started coming last year.

Me and my older children had a great time at BSR last summer. They especially liked doing the flips on the slides, but the funniest part was when mom when down and accidentally did the flip and landed perfect!

Great fun from the age kids start to get bored at the pool. You wear a life jacket, (they have plenty in all sizes )which takes the sting out if you hit the water flat. Its not like that belly flop you did off the high dive. The angle of the slide throws you off perfect, you dont have to do anything but fly.

BSR is my favorite place to go when I have nothing planned one of the cheapest places to go and have a blast for an entire day. So happy I found this place made some of the best memories of my life so far here

Before you come here or decide to bring your children, look at all the law suits Stewart Parsons (the owner) has had with this park. People have died here from their lack of caring for their park or just because they’re careless. Don’t give them another dime.

We had our family reunion here with ages 3 - 73. Here are some tips if you are visiting with family.-Fill out the waiver on-line, otherwise you will wait in long lines.-Cabins are adequate but bring everything you need to cook with.-If you are going on the weekend, mornings are best for slides. Theafternoons get super crowded and lots of drinking so not for kids.-Consider the surf beach area--super clean, not crowded, fun watching thesurfers. This was our favorite area!-The slides can be tricky, so watch for a few minutes to see how othersland and plan how you want to land--it can be dangerous. Start on thesmallest slide first and work your way up. No one is invincible andgetting hurt is no fun.

This is an awesome place to spend some vacation time. Me and my family reserved for 3 nights and 4 days last year and somehow something went wrong with our reservation and the staff at BSR Cable Park went above and beyond to make things right for us. Love these people!! The whole staff there treat you like family!! We will be returning soon!!

First time going and the ramps are bad it broke my 500$ board and they shrugged it off said to me NOT MY PROBLEM lol.Not one to throw shad but the guy working said he didn’t like people well then get a new job.A bad experience overall can’t see my self going back

Great experience at BSR. Perfect set-up with the rooms, shop and most important the waves. Each hour sessions gets you plenty of rights and lefts. I did two hours in a row and wanted to do a 3rd.

BSR Was incredible! From the staff, and cabin, to the Royal Flush slide and huge lazy river. We booked this 4 months in advance with our kickball team in Fort Worth and had never been to BSR. We were greeted by Tiffany at the front who I spoke to in advance and happily answered all of my questions. The cabin was perfectly set up and has enough space for all 14 of us! We got to see Lemurs and cable riders and enjoyed the massive hot tub! We also got to go watch a night surf session, which one of the staff allowed us to do as long as we watched and behaved.( we are a touch rowdy) I dont think we had one bad thing to say about our entire visit. We will be back next year if not sooner and cant wait.Thank you BSR Cable park and staff for everything we had the best time.

Very cool one-of-a-kind spot to kick back and relax. The state-of-the-art wave pool is an amazing piece of engineering. The wave pools beach-side is great to watch surfers. I’ve been to BSR several times and the 1/4 mile wakeboard oval is a rewarding challenge to master. All the attractions here are great and this is defiantly a place to keep coming to for years to come!

Great place to go! Cant beat thats its BYOB (:We stopped by Daiquiri-Express(Bellmead) on the way and got drinks, & Jello Shots beforehand! Cant wait to go again (: (:

We had a blast, however the lazy river could be wider and they need more tubes they ran out rather quickly then we got yelled at for giving ours to other people who wanted to use them when we were enjoying walking in the water more than floating. The slides are amazing once you get over the anxiety of it. Definitely will be back

Had a blast in the wave pool while my kids went off on the water slides. Such an incredible treat to be able to surf a good man-made wave and good family fun for all. Novelty surf session for sure, but would love to go back, as the wave has plenty of speed and power. I feel confident they will get the water quality issue figured out.

We had a great time last summer on the lazy river. doing it again this year!**Update**We went last month and they need to find a much more efficient way to get everyone processed and paid. Did my waiver on line thinking it would be faster. NOPE. You still wait in one line to get your over 21 wristband and then another VERY LONG LINE to pay. It took us over an hour just to get in the park. Ridiculous!

This is a great place to have some fun... if youre young. We just floated in the lazy river which is very relaxing. The cable park and the slide would have kept me there for a week if it was 30 or 40 years ago.

Had a really good time but place is beyond over priced. Just for 2 people it was $73, no one checked ANYONES stamps & for a cooler float it was $10 extra although people were using cooler floats who did not have a cooler. To be paying so much I expected there to be more bathrooms... & decently clean bathrooms at that.

First time going. Was an absolute blast. Did learn a few things. Make sure you bring a little kids wagon to move your stuff. Try and get there early as possible. It resemble to me a redneck water park. Grass and dirt not much concrete. I will definitely be back. I choose this over six flags or hurricane harbor any day. Lazy river was very nice to. Was one of the last ones to leave and was surprised when I seen almost no trash left behind by others.

I was very disappointed with the park. First and foremost the cabin was below standard, there were not enough pillows or blankets for the persons sleeping in the living area. There were no PULL OUT sofas. They were very uncomfortable. There was a broken towel rack with a nail sticking out. The bathroom door knob was broken. The refrigerator was too small. For the money that was spent for the cabin for two days. Complete waste of money.

Fun place, expensive day! They only have one shower, outdoors, and no dressing area. Also, no restroom near beach area, only port a pottys.

Always a great experience at BSR Surf. The improvements to the water quality and increase in wave count over last year are excellent. Brian and his staff are very helpful and friendly. They really make the experience!

This is by far the best backyard water parks. So many activities, bring your own grill and drinks and have a great time with family, friends, and water lol. And if you don’t have your own grill don’t worry trust me somebody will let you chill with their squad speaking from experience. Yo you can catch me and my squad at Cable Park most definitely.

Had my Costa Rica trip get cancelled this summer so I decided to take a 2 day trip out to surf the park. I had a blast. If you don’t already surf, start on the beginner wave. I rode 4 intermediate sessions that were fun and 1 expert session. I could have used a few more hours on expert to really dial in. Everyone in the water were having a great time. The only complainers were people who really couldn’t surf in the first place who were acting like they should get lessons in the intermediate wave. There were people surfing from all over the world and nothing but smiles from all.

The park itself is ok, plain and simple. But if I could rate the Bar and Grill itself, 0 stars. We ordered our food and 40 minutes passed until my boyfriend was given a dry burger and I was told the fryer broke, but my chicken sandwich was grilled.. then I never heard back about my sandwich so I got my refund which was easy and the lady was understanding. Time was greatly wasted.

Fantastic day on these slides! Really quick drive from the DFW area. Slides are even better in person, adrenalin rush for sure. Professionally owned and ran, clean, and good for the whole family.

Place has so much potential! Love the atmosphere and the hospitality! I went when the construction was going on, and it wasn’t that bad until the workers were staring for whatever reason. Can’t wait to see how this place finishes! Will be stopping by again, maybe with my own gear prices are a little high to rent.

10/10 recommend. I had a blast! Family friendly, fair prices and clean facility. You can bring your own coolers, alcohol, drink and grill. There are food trucks on ground and the bar/grill as well. 4 activities (lazy river, slides, surfing and wakeboard) you can partake in and well worth the price.

What an unbelievably fun experience! This place is awesome, and if youre ever in the area, you must check it out before you do anything else!!! After your traveling partner has dragged you through the Magnolia Market, youll need some excitement, and BSR Cable Park is your answer. Im a huge fan of the Texas Rangers, the museum they have in town, and the whole one riot, one Ranger story--an absolute classic--but now that Waco has BSR Cable Park, I tend to think one fun thing to do, one Royal Flush to ride...over and over and over. Check it out!

Very expensive for what you get. Lazy river is so slow with no scenery that you will pray for it to end. Ate lunch with our grandkids. Soggy sandwiches and water logged lettuce, plus bad service. Teenagers are more interested in hanging with friends. So here is a clue. Do not think anyone is coming to you. Go to bar he will take your order when he can break from friends. After all there was 4 of us and I think we were taking to much of his time. No one else in restaurant I guess they knew better. This whole place is run by teenagers having a good time just hanging out. Not busy at all. When you need ketchup, silverware, napkins and other condiments he will point you to where each one is. 1 wrap, 2 sandwches and bacon cheese fries with water Is $40+. I hate paying that for bad everything. So many good water parks where you get so much for your money... We drove from Dallas and we were so disappointed!

Awesome experience !

This wave is awesome and super fun to surf. The take-off is slightly tricky because its all about positioning yourself in the right place, but the wave itself is like a really clean point break where you can do three or four good turns and practice different maneuvers over and over. Definitely worth it.

This park is top knotch!! The waves are excellent, with many different options. The park is super clean and family friendly! So much to do with slides, wave pool, cable park and even some lemurs!!

Wakeboarding, surfing, giant slides, hot tubs and you can bring in your own drinks? (No glass) Yes obviously its awesome sauce

My family had an amazing time. We were treated like royalty and I gotta say, the wake board area kids got me doing laps twice in under 3 hours of doing it for the first time in my life. Huge props to Trenton and the wake board team!!

As a wake boarder, it is an awesome place for beginners to advanced! I would just say make friends with your Cable Handle Handler at the start. Sometimes theyre cool, sometimes jerky.

I absolutely loved this place. They offer something unique and at an awesome price. The people are so nice, and I had a blast. Will definitely come back. I really want to try the surfing and the cable boarding.

Went to the surf area and really had a great time. Did a session on the intermediate wave and really liked it. More like an ocean wave than a wake wave. I’ll be back this spring.Wayne

The waver iPads way out dated super slow like dial-up back in the 90’s, places to go a little expensive, bar and grill was also terrible after ordering and waiting over 45 minutes they failed to mention there fryers were not working we left after that. Other than those three flaws the river and slides were really fun.

Love this place! Only complaint I have is lack of food options. I remember there being a food truck or two on site; but I wish there were more options as we spent the majority of our day there. Otherwise, it was a great time. Anxiously waiting for warmer weather to head back out to the park!

BSR is great! I live out of state and havent been there for some time but it was such a memorable experience. Only thing for me is that the cable spins clockwise which makes it a lot harder for beginners who are goofy to get off the dock but all in all, I cannot wait to go back! Especially since they have made such massive aesthetic improvements in the last year.

This place is amazing! Dog friendly too in certain areas. Very relaxing place, they even have a small wading pool area for the kiddos. Even though the majority of people are drinking there, its very family friendly! I definitely recommend, I cant wait for the new part to be finished!!

The price is outrageous!!! 2 people and 2 kids cost me $140... for one slide and a boring lazy river. Never going back at those prices, it was completely ridiculous

Awesome awesome awesome, on the last night we met one of the managers and he made our last night a night to remember! Cabins are super neat and clean and being able to relax outside the cabin while seeing people try the cable park was cool.

This was one of my favorite places to go during the Summer, but since I heard that a person died there from contracting a brain eating virus that lives in water, I dont know how I feel about this place anymore. Fun place to visit, but also potentially deadly too.

This place is always a good time. Best to get a group together and come grill, bring your own cooler and snacks.The royal flush slide is my favorite part but the addition of the massive surf beach is pretty amazing as well.Lets not forget about the lazy river or the cable wake boarding. I live in Austin but make the trip up to BSR at least a couple times each season. Try to get there early cause parking can get a bit crazy

Took my kids here and they loved it. We live so far from the coast so this was an awesome addition to Waco!

The expert waves were fun, especially the lefts. I can see the barrel potential if the size comes up 2 feet.Really had a good time and will be back.T

BSR Cable Park is a must! Family friendly, with tons of fun! Fun for every family member no matter the age, adult or adolescent!! Longest lazy River in the world!!! Take almost a whole hour to float the whole thing while enjoying the beautiful scenery surrounding the park. Truly a life changing experience that I believe everyone must have at least once!!!

Had family in from out of state and brought them here. HAD A BLAST!!!! cannot wait to go back this summer. My husband was deployed last summer and we didnt get to go together, definitely will this time around! Love that you can bring your own cooler! Recommend this place to everyone!

After staff double parked patrons for a free concert yesterday by daughters window was smashed in because other cars could not get out. They were way understaffed & over capacity. The security witnessed the man smashing in her window and the gentleman was able to leave because they got the license plate so they didnt detain him. Only to be told by police that most likely we wont get paid for the window as the patron already left They needed far more security & needed to be more knowledgeable on where people can park & how to handle incidents. One day of fun and it cost us almost 400 just to have the window fixed. I get they can prevent disrespectful guests but they could have prevented the situation by parking people properly. Also they could have handled the incident better.

Great park loved it.I arrived early to get a good spot. Payed for two combos and rented a cooler tube. We floated the river and came back to our table to eat. Well some employees came to me and requested we give up our tube so other could use them. I requested I get my $10 I paid back from the guy handing out tubes and got denied said they couldn’t refund money.So when I tried and get another tube so we can go back to river with our cooler it took over 45 mins to get one. Very disappointing at the lack of service.You shouldn’t have to pay to rent a tube for the day and only get to use it for a few hours.So I spent $10 for someone else to get my cooler tube.Will not be returning anytime soon...Either get more tubes or don’t make guest pay to use tubes.

Cool place to go for a relaxing day of fun in the sun. The Slide was a BLAST and the lazy river was great while taking in the sights. Highly recommended for a quick trip to the cool side.

Terrible. Muddy water with people pissing in it. The attendants to the slides dont know left from right. It has taken me a very long time to review this place. My husband went down the big slide face first and busted his face all up needed stitches thank God he is a man because if it had been me I would of wanted a plastic surgeon to fix that. We had to leave and go to local ER. They have no help worth a hoot at BSR. He had to have teatnus shot and very strong antibiotics due to the nasty water. We were the 3rd victim of the day.

Killer waves, beautiful facility and the coolest staff. Plenty to do to keep the family busy while you score some waves in Texas.

Ive been to a number of cable parks in the united states and Germany and BSR is by far the best. Amazing facility and staff to go along. Its not a place for young kids and does have items you can hurt your self on. If youre a big winnie this place may not be for you. If you like to have a super time and love outdoor sports I couldnt recommend it more. A+ best time while we were in the states. We will be back.

Wave isn’t nearly as good as advertised. They show waves on social media that they won’t offer to the public. Seems like a bait and switch to me.
