Amazing place. Staff are so knowledgeable. Get to see the birds up close and the free flying was amazing. Can’t wait for the tropical area to open.Best day out we have had. 10/10

We always like that park, host are really nice. Park clean. Beautiful views. Wish they would fix all the table canopy s thou. Cant wait till our next trip there.

The place and quiet and nice. I wish the area to the beach or shore is more well-maintained. Some people leave their trash or broken glass bottles by the shore. Maybe, some ordinance or enforce some rules to keep the place clean and safe for kids.

Great place to camp and visit... Bathrooms and Showers needs updating. Other than that, had an excellent time.

Woodway Park is such a great place to spend an evening, or really any time of the day. Trees to hammock, tables to eat at, disc golf, lake access, trails. Thanks to the city for free spaces to enjoy, and for keeping it clean!

This park is a hidden jewel in Mclennan County/Waco. Tables, water access for kayaking, fishing or swimming. Safe environment for children and pets (on a leash). Its small and tucked away from crowds and perfect for a family outing or to sneak away with a good book and enjoy the lake views.

Love this park so much. Nice, clean, quiet, and a great place to relax with family and friends. This is the best place to come and enjoy watching the beautiful sunset in the evenings. At Woodway Park, people hike, ride bikes, walk, exercise, and play disc golf. They also have playground for little ones to play and have fun. We love bringing our dog here too so he can play and enjoy being outside. There is always police patrolling most of the time and that makes me feel safe to be at this park. There is also plenty of parking spaces, but not a lot of designated accessible parking space. Also, I have yet to see a bathroom at this park so I am unaware if they have some or where they could be located within the park! However, this is one of the best parks to enjoy the sunshine/sunset in Waco, Texas. Highly recommend this park.

We played Disc Golf at just the right time and the scene was pretty incredible!! The park is so vast and upkept. Definitely going back. It had a nice kid park too.

Great park. Plenty of wildlife, especially by the lake. Clean park with lots of parking, benches, and to my surprise fire pits. Great place for a Sunday lunch on the lake. Must be a boat launch close by, as I see plenty of boats cruising around. Pretty sure Ill be back in the spring with a fishing license.

Nice park, has two separate areas both have loads of room for picnicking, playground equipment and lake access, very well kept

Love the disk golf course here around a 3 mile walk for all 18 holes

Fun trails to hike, bike, walk, run or jog. Clean and safe playground and lots of nature to enjoy. Also great for Pokemon Go players.

My boys really enjoyed getting to play in the lake. And I got to sit and be quiet while they did.

I love Woodway park the view of the lake is wonderful. It is a great place to run hike or mountain bike(easier trails). My family and I have picked up about 6 large trash bags full of trash on the trails, I think the lake flooding always brings a lot, and the trail system could use an update and clearing you think it wouldn’t be that hard to send a skid steer and a chainsaw in.

Woodward park is quiet and clean. Also has great trails where you feel like your in deep in the woods. Background of water and forest and disc golf is really special. Yes there’s disc golf !

Everything is green, all grass areas are manicure, very clean park, great hiking and mountain bike trails, best of all the sunsets from this park are amazing !

A beautiful park near the lake. Ive only visited here for the disc golf course which is a blast. With a bit of TLC this course could easily be a 5* attraction.

Nice quiet place. Great view of the lake. Great place to hang out with someone special, or to maybe have a picnic with the family. Didnt see any restroom facilities, thats kind of an issue. May have just missed them, but had to go behind a tree.

It is a good place 2 go see and walk around if you want 2 see the lake or want 2 2 walk and get some exercise.They have a nature trail that you can walk on just like Cameron park has.

Clean, spacious, everyone social distancing, but friendly!

This is a clean, neat park with a play ground, ball fields, picnic tables and decent roads. I did notice a few nature-type trails, as well. There are plenty of tables and a couple of pavilion style groups of tables but the only BBQ pits were at those pavilion setups. If you want to grill, bring your own BBQ pit.

Great campground! Lots of room for the dogs, trees for shade and the vie of the lake was fantastic. We will bring fishing gear next time and see what is hanging around the stumps near the campground!

This is a great park. The trails are awesome for dogs and mountain biking. There is a decent frisbee golf course, and a nice grass beach area. There are also a bunch of places where you can throw in a kayak. I’m not sure you can find a better place in Waco to watch the sunset.

A great family setting when you need a breath of fresh air... so many activities for your kids of all ages!

Pretty park with good views, fun and sneakily challenging disc golf course. Desperately needs a basket upgrade, though.

We took my 5 year old niece and did some bird watching while we were there. She loved the swings and slide and walking the trail through the woods. Our favorite things were watching the barn swallows dart around catching insects. And the wren going in and out if a hole where pamphlets are kept, feeding her babies!

This place is pretty great in that it has a lake view of endless ducks. The ducks are initially approachable but become hostile after feeding them sriracha.

Woodway Park is a great place to take your family. I attended an early morning boot camp with my aunt here and let me tell you I was worked to the edge of exhaustion. If you ever want to get fit you should join the boot camp that gathers here. It is no joke SERIOUSLY.
