This is one of my local favorites. You have access to parking for all the local stores and restaurants. I also use it as walking for exercise. For me and those of you who may play pokemon go there are many poke stops and gym all within a block or little more of the park. And during those hot Florida days there is a place for the kids to cool down a small fountain to play in.

Great Seafood Event! This park is a great place for all. Constant soft breeze in the air. A must visit for anyone.

This is a lovely park. It has a water fountain area for kids to play in. Its perfect during the hot Florida weather. The water shoots up from the ground and sometimes to colored lights. Kids enjoy it a lot. There is also a gazebo. Sometimes people play music or perform there, other times you can see people relaxing. The park is located right along Venice Ave on the Venice island. There is a large free parking lot. Many shops and resturants line Venice Ave, as well as jewelry stores, Ive cream places, souvenir shops, etc. Unfortunately many of the shops close early; around 4 or 5pm. The restaurants and ice creams stores do tend to stay open later though. In 2018- 2019 there was improvements done along Venice Ave. My pictures reflect what it currently looks like.

Best place to gather for public events. City of Venice does an awesome job with promotions of all types. Musical events craft shows etc.

Great place to take the kiddos! Plenty of benches and bathrooms close by. The park is surrounded by dining and shopping in a very beautiful area!

Very cool and pretty place. Has a lot of cool buildings and architecture. We will be back to explore a bit

Serene little Park gazebo nice downtown shopping area

Absolutely worth a visit. Beautiful and clean. Lots of options to eat and shop. Beautiful trees for shade as well. Everyone is so friendly too! Highly recommend.

Went to Venice walk tree lighting tonight from 5 to 8 although everything was open much later the stores were open lots of music, lots of free goodies, and beautiful lights all up and down Venice Avenue. thousands of people were out to see the festivities and to partake in them .I highly recommend that everyone come to this next year .it really is a joy there were sidewalk bistros, homemade ice cream shops, and candy shops there is candy popcorn, glasses of wine to be had by all .really two thumbs up for this great event

The park was so clean and the water fountians are a blast for kids and adults

There isnt much to this park, its not a traditional park. You park your car here, which is central and organized, and you can use their nice and clean bathrooms. No complaints.

Lovely ambiance to walk about. Beautiful unique shops and restaurants. Great for couples, families and friends who want to get away from the city’s hustle and bustle and enjoy each other’s company in a very tranquil setting. I recommend!

Simple, outdoor fun on hot and sunny days.Theres not much here; Just a fountain-style splash pad and a gazebo. The draw is that this little park is right in the heart of Venice Island. Theres a Daiquiri Deck across the street and ice cream parlors just a short walk away.Venice Beach is only a short drive.

I visited the park to attend the Venice Seafood & Music Festival.....this will be the last time I attend. Very disappointed in this festival. Ive attended several phenomenal festivals in downtown Venice so maybe my expectations were too high for this one. But trust me, you arent missing anything if you skip this event. A few good vendors with nice arts/crafts for sell but the seafood selection was extremely limited and quite pricey. I would rather dine at the local restaurants than at these pop-up food stands. The highlight of the evening was the Pineapple Express drink stand....they made the with several frozen mixed drink options offered in a pineapple. YUM! Thank you PINEAPPLE EXPRESS!! Also, it was advertised that the local Humane Society would there with dogs that need homes, so I talked my mother into going by suggesting we look for dog to adopt. However, we arrived at festival and there were no dogs....no Humane Society (which the festival was supposedly raising money for the organization?!?) yet nobody had any idea about dogs when we asked festival workers. Finally we found a woman who believed the Humane Society would be at festival on Saturday. Anyways, skip this festival.

Saw a very nice free Jazz concert today in the park. Place is clean and well maintained with convenient bathrooms close by.

Perfectly located, right in the middle of everything happening on Venice Island. The fountains are well maintained, the public restroom are never gross, this is one of my favorite parks to take my daughter

Love this area on Venice Island! Right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. This place has the fountains for the little ones to splash around and get wet, gazebo to relax and the sidewalk to walk, run or bike all while enjoying the beautiful island of Venice!

Our granddaughter loved playing in the water park. She probably spent a good forty five minutes. She played in it a second time the next day. The only thing was there were yellow stains on the stone benches. I was sure what they were but it wasnt comfortable sitting there.

Great place for families. There is a fountain for the kids, free concerts on friday nights. Ample dining and shopping close by.

It is a nice place to enjoy the weather.

The centennial park is a hub bub of activity from visitors enjoying Venice and the music they play in the park at various times they during the week. There is parking, restaurants and lots of great shops.

Such a delight to see sound of music out in the open. The quality of the sound was terrific!

Its a piece of Old Venice. I love the concerts. Some rock and some oldies. Farmers Market on Saturdays is always fun but come early to get a parking space! The sprinklers arent only for the kids, I had fun too.

Bring my daughter here a lot. Open later than most splash parks. Down town is right there for shopping or food.

Place is great to stop and let the little ones run around and burn off some extra energy while they cool off. You can let the wife run around to all the little shops and do her thing. Hopefully she brings you back an ice cream cone.

Large amount of venders and good local entertainment. Parking is limited.
