We made a reservation in October for a mid- December stay and just got a phone call canceling our reservation. Their reason - they rented our spot out for a long term stay customer that will put more $ in their pocket. So much for commitments and not a good way to do business.
Great owners and manager!! Not many RVs and very quiet. The view is great with the serene lake.
Very rude owners...They told us if we rented from them our son could fish.. .(Catch and release) thats fine my son doesnt like to eat fish anyway. When he tried to fish they very rudely ran him off the property. Not to mention they have already double charge me for rent so i paid just to keep the peace. But why should i keep paying if they didnt hold up to what they promised in the first place.Would not recommend anyone to go to this place.
I love it and its perfect for my dad. I really hope they accept him and let him move in this weekend. The office is nice and rules there on site is perfect and reliable for the community. I trust this place 100%!!
Stay away.
Good friendly place to buy a used mobile home
Lovely quiet, clean RV Park with a beautiful 5-acre fishing pond. We have never seen such beautiful bathrooms at an RV park. Owners George and Sylvia are friendly and efficient. So happy we discovered this RV Park.
Beautiful, serene, small, quiet, clean, well located little park with super friendly people and great bathroom and hookups. A little hard to get in touch with office staff, but once reached, very helpful and accommodating. Not for rowdy crowds or kids. The lake and grounds are just the best!
If you ever think about camping in Tyler, DO NOT say at Lions RV Park. The owners are rude, told us we would be in one of two spots (either right next to the private lake backed up to the woods or right next to the dog park, which would have been perfect for us). Instead we were parked less than 10 feet from the next camper and maybe 10 feet on the other side from a metal building. The view to the back was a parking lot to their storage buildings. When I mentioned this, I was told I should have planned better, so I could have been there earlier. (I told them what time wed be there when i called to make reservations.) There was one picnic table to share between the campers next door and us. There are no fire pits or grills, and that dog park...there is a lake on one side and then two sides are fenced in with fencing that both my dogs could crawl through. We were told there was a fence in the back, but we couldnt see one. And did I mention that also happens to be where the septic sprinklers are, so its wet and you could be caught by the sprinklers if you arent quick enough to get out? Quiet hours start at 9 PM, but I guess there isnt really anything else to do outside after that anyway. Also, the rules given to us at arrival say that the dogs are not to bark. Am I suppose to put a muzzle on them to keep them from doing that? Oh, and another rule was that bicycles are not allowed. And when we arrived, the lady asked how I was going to pay, and I handed her a card. It was then that she told me they only accept cash or checks. Why didnt she tell me that when I called for reservations? And why doesnt it have any of this information on their website? I didnt have cash, so she told me I could just go to the bank to get some the next morning. (Ummmm....nope....we had to be at baseball 30 minutes away by 8:30.) Fortunately, I did have a checkbook with me. And even if I had gone to the bank to get cash, I wouldnt have been able to because she kept my ID. I called and called to try to get it back, but nobody would answer. She finally brought it back to my husband yesterday evening. Then she called me like it was my fault! As we packed up to leave this morning, the man owner came out to watch us and complained because we backed out rather than pulled through. There was no way our 44 camper was going to make the sharp turn to the exit without hitting anything. Backing out was simple because of the large parking lot behind us. The man had the nerve to say that we were lucky we didnt hit anything. We werent even close to hitting anything! It was a very uncomfortable stay, and it is not a good place for a family. We felt like we were constantly watched and wouldnt even leave our dogs in the camper for fear they might bark and wed get in trouble. So, youve been warned!
Very quiet and relaxing. Management is wonderful. Best park for relaxing and the fishing is fun too.
Stayed there a while back. While it wasent the worst park ive seen it is definantly not kid friendly. In fact the owners will tell you outright they do not like having kids there! The Manager was very nice and helpful but owners seemed nosey and two faced. One minute they liked you the next there were talking to your neighbors about you. I also did not enjoy the fact that the owner would fly his drone over your site and hover there!! Also alot of road noise and very poor wifi.Clean park overall but if your not part of the year round group that lives there plan on a short stay!! Read all the reviews there are alot of other great rv parks in the area!! UPDATE: as a reply to comment below about The mature professional and retired folk I think your reply pretty much proves my point!! Maybe it should be geared towards professional service and the customer comming first!! Just my humble opinion!!
This place is more than an rv park . Its a home away from home with the most wonderful owners and manager. We been here a year and they treat you like family. Very quiet and peaceful park.
Love it. Wonderful owners and host.
Horrible. The fake good review below was written by one of the managers. I will write a full review when I stop fuming...the worst experience I have ever had with any business in my life. As a small business owner, I cannot even fathom a world that allows a business like this to continue. There are so many other nice RV parks in this area. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.
Its a very nice place but I was banned from the property for no reason til this day I dont have a clue why all I was doin was goin to check on a elderly person and take him wherever he needed to go because some family members that live close by wouldnt carry him
Very nice. Very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.
What a great little RV Park. Nice lake to fish in. Lots of hiking areas for us and the dogs. Managers are the best! We will be returning to this park for sure.
Nice place to stay
Nice RV park, but Wifi is iffy!
Hope to stay there soon
Not a family park
