So peaceful. It is very beautiful, very quiet and serene. All the rocks and mountains were so big that I wanted to scream and listen to my echo and the canyon so silent that I didnt want to disturb the peace. Highly recommend visiting during the sunrise.

Near-perfect trip. Beautiful on an aesthetic level, serene on the scale of ambience. Spent a good three hours outside, soaking up sun and getting some good exercise. Highly recommend. Be careful if youre bringing children, some of the trails are rather treacherous.

Untouched by the Big Horn Fire, this is still my favorite place to go for my peace of mind.

Few people stop here because its so close to the bottom of the mountain. However, just climb down a little ways and you are smack, in the middle of a beautiful riparian zone. Flowing water is frequently found. Birds and other wildlife are plentiful. Check it out.

Great hiking trails, if you go off trail a little bit. When the monsoon hits, be careful, but you have to see the beauty of this place!!! For beginners and amateur hikers.

Great place for hiking. This is a 5.1 mile trail that offers different levels of difficulty. Best time to go is starting from October to April. You can also bring your dog. The trail starts from the Molino Basin Campground parking lot.

What isnt there to say about the breathtaking beauty of Mt. Lemmon? Simply amazing!

We didnt take our phones, so no pictures. But it was very beautiful. Off to the left we climbed down to find some water ponds with tadpoles, nope ropes, and crawfish (yes, crawfish). Then we moved on down to the right of the Vista where the trees are. It was very peaceful. In the end, the view is nice, but you gotta make your way down to the bottom (not hard) to see the really nice things.

One of my favourite places on earth! Beautiful scenery fab drive up mount Lemmon. Spent Xmas day walking and taking in the views. Stunning.

My go to to get away and meditate...miss the running water though hope we get rain or snow to bring it back

I just happened to pull over. I decided to walk over to the edge and then I happen to see the little waterfall and the running creek and it look like there was some snow but it didnt come out good on the pictures.

Cool little hangout right off Catilina highway..about 4500 ft up.

Interesting chaparral zone. Hope it recovers quickly from the Oct 2019 fire.

Nice stop on your way up Mt. Lemmon. You can take a few different pathways that lead down to a creek and small waterfalls. Ive been in the summer and winter and to me it was more enjoyable in the winter as there is more water there and cooler.

Amazing hiking! In the winter a stream runs through here with a waterfall, very beautiful. However, I came back on the summer and the steam was mostly dried up. Still beautiful though!

Beautiful views! There is a nice little trail here too. There is not much climbing to do either. So its an easy walk. I wouldnt recommend it with toddlers, or without jeans. There are prickly bushes that cross over the path. Any small kids would have it hitting their arms and faces.

Great outlook

This is one of the first places I stopped when driving up to Mt Lemmon for the first time. I slowly hiked down the canyon for a couple hours, peering into the little caves and hopping across the small streams and waterfalls. Theres a lot to explore here if you like going off the beaten path. It seems like no one really stops here, so when I went it was really quiet (except the gunshots in the background...), even on a Saturday morning. I highly recommend stopping here and making your way down the canyon! Its a nice addition to your trip up to Mt Lemmon.

Great trail. Easy to follow. Moderate in difficulty. Its easy with a few uphill and downhill changes. Went in January. Lots of flowing water from snow melting. Bring extra shoes just in case. Did 7.75 miles out and back.

Just a short drive from Tucson. And your in a whole other world. Climate changes drastically from desert to pine trees and snow. Quite a change from the desert floor in tucsons city. Breath taking views. Well worth the hour an twenty minute drive from Tucson. Must see if visiting. Mt.Lemon ski resort. Awsume.!

There are better places than this to stop. At not even 5 miles up it is hot and desert like. Go further up to windy point or San Pedro vista. No bathrooms.
