Very dry, hot and not a lot of cover. Roses will burn in direct sunlight. I dont understand why its like this and has been like this for many years. This attraction needs am update. Fountains maybe, more shade, more seating. Should be a desert oasis. Its ultimately disappointing.....

This is only open for a brief time each year, and is pretty unimpressive in terms of any sort of botanical garden. Most of the times Ive walked thru the area is not well maintained and the rose bushes appear more than half dead. This being a hotter than ideal environment probably means the caretakers need to figure out how to accomodate with shade and more water so the garden would thrive.

Beautiful place all roses are in full bloom.. Also the park was gorgeous this morning to walk thru very clean...

The rose garden was amazing, unfortunately you have all these (*deleted*) who dont understand how to read signs and think its a free-for-all rose picking experience when its against the rules of the place to take them. One person was filling a grocery bag they brought. They even have signs posted just asking people to be respectful and I found people shoving trash into the rose bushes when they had a trash can less then 20ft away. Otherwise it was a great experience which is being ruined by bad people.

This is an awesome place to visit. Even seeing it from a distance, its clear how much care is put into this portion of the park. This is a place any local must visit during peek bloom season. Its closed sometimes, so you might have to try on different days, but it is certainly worth it. The variety, color, and maintenance of this garden is superb, and I cannot recommend it enough. If you or your significant other love (or even LIKE) flowers, it is an unrivaled experience in Tucson.

It was really hot the day I walked through this beautiful rose garden, possibly upwards of 98° F.Regardless, the experience is beautiful because there are several varieties of roses, highly recommended to visit this park early on in the day and between the months of April and late June nothing, after that youre in for either want some season rains or scorching-hot weather.

The Rose Garden has seen better days but it seems theyre bringing it back slowly. New plants coming in it seems. Has been neglected in the not so distant past. But its getting better. Still a nice gazebo in the center to rest and get a break from the sun.
