Very nice atmosphere if you arent looking for the college town feel. Not busy at all, very clean. Sad to see some shops closed up. But, there are still many unique places to see.

Mill Avenue is a treasure trove of restaurants and shops. You can find just about any type of food such as pizza, sushi, tacos, gyros, burgers and fries, salads, handmade popsicles and desserts. All price ranges for food. There are a host of small boutiques and storefronts to wander in and out. Especially fun when there is a themed art show going on. Street parking is abundant and also parking lots when there is an event.

Pros:-A Mountain (aka Tempe Butte) is a nice spot to get your cardio in!-Nearby, there is also the Tempe Town Lake to walk by or kayak/pedal-boat on. The bridges spanning the lake are colorfully lit at night. One of them has beautiful rainbow lighting. Id reccomend going there in the early morning or evening time to avoid the crowds.-It can be fun to people watch and sight see the stores and restaurants. Its a lot to take in. However, I personally dont like too much hustle-bustle, so I would reccomend going in the morning.Cons:-Some areas are just to crowded with stores and restaurants. Its so densely packed.-Some restaurants dont have off-street parking, so be prepared to shell out some money for parking as well. (Or if they do have off-street parking, the lots are super small, so you may just have to find another spot to park).-Dont try to parallel park here at night. Its just too busy on the streets and instead, I would just reccomend going to find a parking garage nearby and walk to your destination.Tips:Best parking spot is the Mission Palms North Lot. While other places charge you $6 an hour, this lot charges $2 an hour. The downside is there is no shade.

I’ve always liked downtown Mill Avenue area but right now it’s so completely and totally screwed with construction and road blockages you can’t even get in and out of this place. It’s a complete total nightmare and it’s been going on for weeks and weeks now it’s completely closed off don’t even bother going here it’s a waste of time.

So much to do and see. The majority of folks a hard working college students that enjoy meeting others and making new connections. Great place to network or just hang out and look around, either way you wont be bored. Also if you are new in town and need help the city has alot of resorces and unlike mosy places they go the extra mile as long as you willing to do the same for yourself. Great city, Great people and Ill never forget how much I grew here.

Looking for an awesome time? Mill Ave. District has you covered! Multiple choices for food, as well as drinks! Kabukis is an all-time favorite of mine, for excellent sushi as well as prices. After eating you can walk it off by visiting the near-by shops. The best part is Mill Ave. District has a variety of places and prices, from low to not so low!

This is a very exciting and dynamic district in Tempe. I actually met an astronaut Robert Lee Hoot Gibson here in Nov 2016. Nypd pizza is delicious, Spinnelis stays open till about 4am, and shopping is also nice at places like Buffalo Exchange and Urban Outfitters. Please dont forget to support your reviewers eyes in the skies and hit your like button at the bottom of this review for my review.
