Love this park. Always rent the ramada for the day. Affordable and reasonable. Lots of space for the kids to run around, play area and a lake to fish or rent paddle boats.

Kiwanis Park is a very nice park it is big they have a lake in it they have Ducks species and people this is a very peaceful Park in my opinion

We love it here so much to do and fishing has always been decent. Its a big area so there is lots to do.

Kiwanis is an amazing park. Even with the playground closed, there is still alot you can do here. I always get a great workout in and the kids have plenty of space to play and/or relax

We love this park!! The wildlife is awesome!It’s a great place to have a picnic or grill and have dinner. We love taking morning and evening walks. Very safe place. I like seeing the catch and release fishing too.

Its huge so even though it looked packed with people based on cars there, everyone was able to stay pretty well dispersed. Wish the splash pad was open for my daughter and the playground near the splash pad was a bit worn down, but other than that I enjoyed the late afternoon with my daughter.

The basketball court is too dusty to be playable. The overall park is really nice and chill though.

Kiwanis Park is a hidden treasure. Boat and bike are available on Saturday and Sunday. Get out and get some exercise at Kiwanis. Enjoy!

I love this park, a great Way to get your walk on and enjoy the lake in the middle of the park.

An amazing first for me had such an amazing time I never knew you could reserve football fields they also have a public shower program her for 12 a month you can come shower m-f

This is a beautiful park to walk, jog, skate, and bike around. It’s huge and has multiple paths you can take, as well as stunning views at sunset. The lake is peaceful and it’s also got a playground for kids. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a day to relax

Our Family really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Great place to bring out your inner kid, we made new friends and made happy memories the playground here is wonderful the kids age groups range from little little like baby and 15. Seem that this park as a something for everyone to enjoy.

Took my 3 month old son to the park for the first time & he absolutely loved it!! I will be back. And its a great location to take pictures by the water.

Kiwanis park is beautiful and very well taken care of. We use the outdoor vball courts and theres always neighbors. Great park.

There are a ton of resources! Great place to go for exercise considering the impact of the virus.

They had great toys for kids 2 to 12 years of age. (I had kids 10,7,4) They had big tall twisty slides Very fun I had never seen slides that tall at a public park before the kids loved it! So much to explore, in every corner.They had a awesome sand pit with a backhoe type tool that the kids could use to dig! Big hit!

I called 2x this morning and with both times combined I was on hold for 26 min. I called at 9:31am and 9:53! I hope this review is seen and they go look at the times and call me back and ill take down this review. I never got to speak to a real a person. I have driven up to kiwanis 2x just to find out splash pad was still closed spite kiwanis showing open online. All Im trying to do is not haul 4 kids down there just for it to be closed! Im not a complicated customer I just needed a simple answer. Like I guess they just dont care about moms and kids getting to play for their well being. And if someone saw my call and had that attitude (Im not answering your call) youre and should be fired.

Come here for my 2yrd daughters swim class and its great.

Its a Pokemon go gym thats intensely competitive.

They have tennis, swimming, basketball, and baseball cages. I could see the swimming pools, they looked good, and I played on the tennis courts. Theyre top notch with score keeper devices on the courts, and even cameras that you can activate via a mobile app if you wanted to review your playing later. My only gripe was that it was $14 to rent a court for 1.5 hours on a Sunday (was during prime time hours apparently, normally $11).

A great place to walk the dogs by the lake. Nice and clean, the city takes great care and the people respect the park.

Its been about 3 to 4 years since Ive been here, but its a very fun place to go if you dont want to spend to much money. Its worth it in my opinion.

Kiwanis Park is wonderful for families, centrally located, close to the freeway and easy to explore on Google maps and Google Earth. Picnic ramadas for groups or large lawns for a blanket and hamper. Lots of parking, playgrounds, grass fields for sports AND birdwatching on the lake. Dont forget a proper local or state permit if you fish. Be ready for crowds in nice weather.

Its a great place to come and relax. As long as youre not afraid of homeless people. Who, by the way, are harmless. It has bathroom facilities, plenty of picnic tables and the lake is relaxing. Honestly, its my boyfriend and my favorite place to go and relax.

Love my time here ... Only a few people maybe 10-12 and everyones practicing social distance properly.

Very peaceful and I love the paddle boats, inexpensive and fun for kids and adults and a great experience when you wanna sit in peace in the water. Only downside....essentially parallel parking a boat lol

Beautiful park, nice facilities. We regularly use one of the pavilions for a get together and its always clean and orderly.

Only 2 kayaks and 2 paddles for anyone who wants to come and rent. Dont make it look like you have an abundance on your website.

Amazing splash pad, great for kids.

Very spacious. The people there are very clean and respectful. We went to play a soccer match and the field was vast.

Highly recommend this place. Family of 4, and we could come here 3 times for the cost of one trip to the bigger water parks. Wave pool is great and there is plenty of seating. Kids liked the slide. Snack bar prices very reasonable and give you a ton of food. Two kids couldve split one chicken strips meal which is like 6 bucks. Definitely try this place.

It a cool place to walk and play.

They have been told many times that the womens locker rooms ONLY have cold showers. The only HOT shower is the family/disabled restroom up front. I went for a shower and even though it was the middle of December; and yet still hadnt taken care of the water temp. In the locker room, they still tried to make me go in and take a cold shower. All because I have no family with me and I am NOT VISIBLY disabled. The entire staff is extremely discriminatory, mainly towards the homeless. I refuse to frequent this location. The City of Tempe should be ashamed of themselves.

We were here for the basketball championships for middle school boys. The new gym is so nice and with the bleacher seats all around it accommodates a lot of people.

This park is so beautiful and big, my kids enjoy so much this park. They love ridding their longboards and going downhill

An INCREDIBLE multi-use park for all ages.We watched my daughter-in-law play softball last night on a team of friends and family. There are multiple lighted ball fields, volley ball area, soccer, and a pond for canoeing and pedal boating (I was told they offer rentals) along with bike rentals. Very family friendly with clean bathroom facilities.

This is a great summer activity for kids! For the third year we have bought season passes 4 are now 9 year old, 10 year old, and teenagers. The passes are very reasonable price and kids with passes get free rafts on Monday and Tuesday. Swimming is healthy and wholesome activity and I know the kids are safe there, watched over by the pool lifeguards. Coin op rated lockers are available as well as snacks, and the cups they received with their passes earned them $1 drinks. Our boys love it.

A very nice park

This is a nice, large, and safe park. I like to come here to start off a jog on weekend mornings. The roses, and water birds around lake are fun to watch.

I came to watch my hubby play in a tennis tournament and these tennis courts are soooo nice. Benches close to t he e courts where I can easily see the match. There are big umbrellas that provide shade. Super impressed wish we had something like this close to home!

We love this park, amazing play place for children, that 3 story slide is perfect for adults I might add...cool huge lake about a mile around. Bring seeds and oatmeal to feed the birds!

Fun place. Fun waves. You have to rent an inner tube which is a downer. Ive been to other wave pools where the inner tubes are included in the price. Other than that, we had a fun time.

This is one of my favorite places to take the kids the splash pad alone is amazing its new so not too many people know about it but theres enough people there that the kids always have someone to play with I love the Thunder effect making it sound like a storm is coming also the inside pool is very amazing the people are very helpful open swim being during the summer helps with something to do for the kids and the big lake to walk around and feed the Ducks is just super cute overall I would say that Kiwanis Park is one of my favorite in the Phoenix area

Awesome for poppin a wheely, pup tents, pop up stove, throw a hammock, cast a line, blow up a pool toy, throw it over a gaurd rail, unfold a lawn chair, launch a rocket or roll out a mat, open an umbrella, pack an ice chest, picnic lunch, test flies, fly a kite, ball all night. You wont believe its not butter. Look for me throwing a tent pole fit for fun

For $6 you get all day access to the pool, gym and basketball courts. Very good deal and great amenities.

Good place to work out

I grew up going to this Park, and let me tell you - it is still one of the most stellar-best Parks that Tempe has to offer! You can do just about every Park celebration from: Family BBQS, Volleyball, Baseball, Soccer, Childrens Playground, Basketball, Power-walking, Jogging, Canoeing, and even small-sport Fishing! My favorite thing to do as a child at this park was sliding down the hills atop of a cardboard box, or going to the wreck center Wave Pool! Kiwanis Recreation Center is a hometown CLASSIC, no doubt!

So much fun! Great staff! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The food at cafe is delicious and the staff their are very friendly too! Great place for families!

The park was fine just a little afraid of some doggies that people that had hard time controlling there pet.

Its a nice clean place and a lot of fun. We had a private birthday party there and the negatives are that the allowed time is strictly limited and the slide isnt great and only open part of the time. Also waves are more intense and frequent that you may expect so some kids were (at first) taken back a bit... Staff is friendly.
