Love this park. My kiddo plays softball here. There are a few homeless people hanging out around the table/grill area but we have never had any problems.

The park itself is nice, but you might want to be careful not to go during irrigation. Also, its sad to see the homeless people who seem to congregate under one ramada in particular. We were there for a class reunion with distancing, which worked fairly well.

We had my grandsons b day party there and we had a great time. The park was packed because of a horse shoe tournament going on, but there was plenty of room for everyone. They have volleyball courts so be sure to take your ball. They have a big play ground and its tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Ramadas were very clean. Perfect for any type of party

Nice atmosphere. Real spread out. There are a few homeless people that frequent the area, but they were respectful and responsible when it came to keeping the park clean, and just overall behavior around the children.

This is a pretty huge park with most of the area taken up by multiple sport courts. There is a horseshoe court, basketball court, baseball field and a volleyball court. Lots to do! They also have a huge playground. Along the park they have lot of green grass and a few palm trees with a sprinkling of oak (?) trees. There are no walking trails however, and I got an inexplicable drab vibe while walking through the park.Other than that, its a decent place to play.

I like bringing my son or my nephews here in a wagon. We call it Ding Ding Park. If youre lucky you get to watch the train passing by. My son and I saw the train on our first visit to this park together which made it really special. The playground is large with 7 or 8 slides. There are 2 bucket swings, about 3 regular swings, and a tire swing. This is the park of my childhood. My grand parents lived around the corner so this was walking distance every time I was in Tempe visiting. We used to put coins on the railroad tracks and try to find them the next day. Great for family football games or catch in the park.

Play ground was nice, but the party was raides by homeless and the Ramada was filthy as were the bathrooms. Portable outhouses are cleaner. We had to ask the 2 homeless people that were sleeping in the Ramada to leave then we got to clean up all the garbage from under the picnic tables before we could even set up for the party. I will NEVER pay to reserve at this park again. Complete disappointment.

A marvelous neighborhood park with softball fields and lots of teams to play there. It also has party facilities you can rent cheaply (or not so cheaply if you plan to serve alcohol). I met a direwolf there -- actually an enormous Irish Wolfhound. Thats something to write home about. And I guess that means that you can bring your dog if you bring the doggie bag. Other than that its an excellent multipurpose area park.

This park has a wonderful location. The playground is nice and the sand has less trash in it than at some other Parks Ive been to. There are however many homeless people on the premise, which isnt necessary a bad thing. The grass is pretty dead but there are swings, so you tell me.

The playground is ramp accessible, and includes soft walk ways to the bottom of some slides and swings. There are also 2 ramadas which you can rent/reserve through the city. However the park had a lot of trash around the playground, ramadas, and other high traffic areas. I spent time picking up a lot of beer caps, random trash, and cigarette butts before a birthday party we had there. Bathrooms are big enough to be accessible, but did not appear to have assisted doors. Bathrooms were also dirtier than the usual for a public park. Overall its a cute park with good amenities, but its not very well kept compared to other parks in the area.

The park itself seems a bit run down. The basketball courts (there are only 2 hoops)and playground seem fairly old, but they still serve their purpose. On the bright side, there are plenty of trees, 2 ramadas with plenty of seating, 2 sand volley ball costs, and an area to play horseshoe. Overall, its a nice park if you live nearby, but not really worth driving to if you live a ways away.

The park is overall nice but is in a really sad state of disrepair. Broken playground equipment, rusting metal and barricades, peeling paint, I would rather take my kid to a better park on Tempe. That said the town is suffering money wise for parks and rec so I dont expect those issues to be addressed any time soon as renovations are expensive. Nothing dangerous, just run down.
