We bought annual passes (best value in my opinion) two weeks or so before the pandemic and were unable to visit for months. They have been very accommodating and added more months to our passes. The Center itself is awesome! Weve been to LEGOLAND California several times and this Discovery Center does a great job capturing the spirit and feel of LEGOLAND. Employees are enthusiastic and excited, especially Noah and Master Builder Alec. The mini town is AMAZING!! I was not expecting the local theme and it was very well done. We paid $5 to participate in the Master Builder class which was a great value that I would highly recommend. The 4D theatre was a hit and our kids enjoyed the rides. For fitting into the corner of a shopping mall, this place has a lot going for it and we look forward to coming back a lot more!
Went to LEGOLAND discovery center on Father’s Day. Had a pretty good time. Mask are required in the mall but not inside LEGOland. A few of the attractions were closed down due to not being able to distance appropriately. But then things like the play area were opening, so didn’t really understand how they were picking and choosing what to keep open and what to close. Employees were constantly cleaning and wiping stuff down as much as possible to sure everything was clean. We had a good time and want to go back when everything is open and get the full experience. To be honest we probably would have waited to go if we had known in advance that servers things were closed.
Fantastic experience! My 7 year old and I played for 5 hours and really made the most of the place. We watched all of the 4D movies, built dinosaurs, built and raced cars, ate lunch, played in the Lego City and rode both of the attractions. There are legos everywhere and you can just roll up and start building. My only request would be a bit more seating in some the areas, but really this place is a great value for the experience. Buy tickets online in advance so you can save $2 off admission per ticket.
Hello came here with my son today. We had a good time he went down the slides there are a couple different rides, lots of interactive stuff to do.Little bit strange with the social distancing protocols, but not too bad. I recommend getting the annual pass but its only 20 more dollars and unlimited visits for the Year. Have a good time
An excellent location for kids to play and to have fun. I liked the variety of play areas, toys, rides, and an event room for birthdays and parties. The staff and owners were friendly and willing to work with you to plan an event and they were willing to assist your kids the whole day. There are side chairs for adults and a small concession stand to get snacks while the kids are playing. Try to visit this wonderful place.
Had a great time!! The kids really enjoyed themselves I’m so grateful there open during these times it really has helped out! Hopefully soon the last entry is at 4pm since I get off at 3 but everyone was great
We went yesterday we had lots of fun this is our second time being here. We adults enjoyed our selves too since the kids are a little older we had free time too to build with them the place looked clean and it wasnt as packed as last time! The ride at the beginning was fun I didnt have the opportunity to go on it last time but I enjoyed it with one of my toddlers definitely going back again. The only place I think could have a little improvement would be the cafeteria we had nachos, salad, Turkey sandwich, nuggets. The sandwich was old the bread was falling apart and really dry, the salad had frozen leafs amd it was very basic, the nachos well it needed more sauce, overall I think there is room for improvement.
We have always been a fan of this place! Members for over 2 years. My daughter has been here since 2 years old and has loved the 2 rides available, as well as the different rooms, the play area, and the food court. We will continue to go back, as they have enhanced their cleaning measures during Covid and made it a safe, fun day of play.
My kids had a great time. Noah was great!
Do not buy the annual pass!!! We tried taking my daughter a few weekends ago and the days were all booked up. Thought wow maybe they are just busy. Then we went on a week before her fall break thinking we should have no problem getting in since we could go on a weekday. We were wrong again, there were no days available! My daughter loves this place so much, but it is a useless pass if we can never use it. Waste of money!
Oh my goodness, where do I begin? I took my grandson and I really think I had just as much fun if not more than he did. It is absolutely amazing what you could build with Legos. I was in total awe. The whole display is indoors, so you can go any day of the year. I definitely will go again with both grandkids next time. You must go!
Ok so this is not an amusement park, but a center. There are two rides and one 4D movie. I spent $50 in tix and bought a lego advent calendar for $40, plus we had a snack. $100 for 3 hours max to go to the mall. If you’re expecting Legoland this isn’t it. It’s a taste of Legoland.Still, we enjoyed the memory of Legoland through this mini experience but would I have passed? Yes. My son is 9.Just a heads up.
Nice place to visit and have fun with the kids! If your kids are Lego fans, theyll love it!
I mean what can i say i love legos and they people are amazing. I wish i could walk around and see them more but great service they bring what u want to the front for you
Do not buy the annual passes. Since they reopened they will not honor them unless you book WEEKS in advance for slots they have set aside. They will not inform you of blackout dates. We bought 2 combo annual passes just before the pandemic and now are unable to use them. If you want to buy a normal ticket you can get in any day they are open. Terrible business practice. Do not support this business.*updateStill cannot book for 2 weeks out with an annual pass. Still can book any day with a daily ticket. Shame on you for doing this to annual pass holders in order to make more profit. We understand you are hurting but we stood by you during your close and were ready to support you when you reopened. However, this is extremely low. You should absolutely be ashamed and no one should be supporting you for this.
Everything was clean and well maintained. There was hardly anyone there and my kids were able to enjoy all of the activities without feeling crowded or rushed.
Great time, killed a few hours with some family fun. Even though some things were limited due to COVID-19 we were happy that they are open and taking precautions to stay safe. If you like Legos, then it is definitely worth it!
Very nice staff. Great job being covid-19 conscious.
Took my niece here today we had a amazing time I bought the two attraction combo deal so we did Lego land and we did sealife in the same day we had a wonderful time my niece loved the kids play area she love the Lego friends area because they had her name and her baby sister’s name she also enjoyed playing with the Legos of course we really enjoyed the 4D movie was a great day definitely will be back
Great store! Lots of different Lego products to choose from.
I was shocked by the $30 entrance fee. Definitely overpriced. Were had two for 1 coupons so that made the price appropriate. Look for coupons. Charging $30 for an adult is a RIP off. They kids enjoyed it. There were 2 little rides and a short 15 minute movie. The Kids played with the legos. Make sure to bring socks or they cant play on a jungle gym. Of course, they will sell you overpriced socks if you dont have any. They call themselves an amusement park to justify the high price. They are in no way an amusement park. But I grew up going to six flags so I know a real amusement park.
The boys had a great adventure we were visiting from Missouri for Christmas and this was given as a gift of experience. The ride lines were a little long but the two rides they offered made the boys happy. It was very clean and offered hours of fun we stayed for 5 hours. We would do this adventure again.
Its a good place to kill a few hours with a little. My 7 year old liked it, I was bored to tears. It was pretty a steep price for the two of us. The annual pass I think would be with it though.
Probably better during the week, not on spring break. This was very busy, with long lines (45 minutes for a ride) and not a lot of staff. The jungle gym was filled with rough housing kids - not too safe for little kids (under age 7). The good things were that the staff that was on site were EXCELLENT and interacted well with children. The site was very clean and the activities were fun. The 4-D movie was great. Over all Id say take young children (under 10 years old), make sure youre available to monitor them and protect them from rambunctious kids in the jungle gym. Bring snacks and water if you can.
This place is so fun for little kids, they love it. LEGOLAND is clean and very friendly. Many fun things to do there. Highly recommended.
A little pricey and not a lot of things to do...the combo with the aquarium across the hall improves the outcome
Went here for my sons birthday. It was pretty expensive but well worth the money. We did everything and spent quite a few hours here. The kids loved the 4D movies with wind, rain and snow during the movie. We watched 3 of the 4. The ride was fun too. There is food and a place to eat but it is on the pricey side. All things considered, this place was fun and we will come back.
Had a great time. Staff was very helpful and everything was very clean.
This place is great! Lots to do and for all ages. Food and prices are not bad. They have an offer to visit Sea Life for just $5 and you have 60 days to take advantage of it.
Loved every minute in there. Staff goes above and beyond.
This was a lot better than expected. High quality exhibits and rides with activities and such. Nachos were gross but side from that a great experience.
Nice place but You need 3 hours. I bought the annual pass in 45 dollars in sale on June-2019, and thats perfect because I can use it all days, go to SeaLife one day and another day switching to Legoland Center.
It was definitely fun for the kids but a bit pricey.
Great time! My family not had only snacks, rides, movie and of course played legos for hours! My boys especially enjoyed the race car area!
Awesome for the kids.. Pretty cool stuff built there..
Great place to spend hot days with your kids! And for lazy parents who dont like Lego pieces at home! My 4 y o. especially enjoyed riding a carrousel with me, and playground.
Amazing place but make sure your little ones have a pair socks and its $30 per person... kinda high.
This place is amazing! We come here every week and it’s a blast every time. The staff is always so friendly and interactive with the kids. My favorite part is Playmaker Noah’s lessons. He does very interactive, lesson-like activities with the kids. It’s something different every week. One week, they were building a trap for a leprechaun, and another time they were learning about bear habitats. We are always excited to go to legoland.
This place was a lot of fun! I think I had as much fun as the kids did! Also, if you get the combo tickets to include Sea Life, you dont have to rush and do them in the same day. You have 60 days to use the Sea Life tickets. My favorite part was the workshops.
This place is huge! My 2 and 4 year old spent almost 3 hours here and could’ve kept playing if it hadn’t closed for the day. I’d say that 4 is the youngest I recommend taking there. My 2 year old had a blast running around and playing, but most of the legos displays and building were over her head. My 4 year old was able to enjoy and understand how cool everything was. He was also able to do both of the rides, while the 2 year old could only do 1 of them.
This is a fun indoor activity for kids who love legos! It is not as clean I was expecting but it is not necessarily dirty, just used. They have two small rides and a room where the kids can get instruction on how to build things. There is a large jungle gym area and a cafe. Trying to build the items in certain areas was hard because none of the correct pieces were available. Almost like people built the items and then took them? Im not sure why the correct pieces wouldnt be available. The 4D movie was and mini-land of arizona landmarks was cool. I recommend getting in at 10am, it gets crowded as the day goes on.
Super fun filled lego afternoon for the kiddos
Pretty cool place if your kid likes to play with legos. Only two small rides. My son loved the play area the most.
All 3 of my kids had a blast! Ages 5-13. A lot to do and well worth the money. Order online in advance for a discount.
They allow you to bring your own snacks. There is alot of things to do that dont take very long, but the kids LOVE playing w legos for HOURS... you can just go let the kids run around and play... Feel free to bring a book. Its not so big that you would lose your kid in there either. Only reason it didnt get 5 stars is because all the pieces to build what you needed were not there... And the King of lego land (although very nice) could have been better... He wore a paper crown and a flimsy red cloak... The Master Builder had a really cool lego crown the King should have been using
Amazing place for the kiddos. It was enjoyed by all of the family especially the grands.
Great for children even greater for me. I love legos, it was a childhood dream! Great Covid-19 measures in place. Highly recommend it for a decent day out of the sun.
Great place for kids for a few hours. The movies are great. The kids enjoyed playing in the playground. The building activities were fun too. The prices of sets in the gift shop wasn’t that great, check prices online before you buy. They had a few Legoland exclusive sets.
So much fun but warning, its SMALL. There are basically 3 core areas.Area 1: Entrance and beginning ride. So much fun. The ride is interactive. Stay in the welcome area and ride the rides (only 2 inside)Area 2: Lego world exhibit with Arizona landmarks recreated. Beautiful!Area 3: Main area. This area has multiple lego building stations and it also has a 3D movie theatre, and play areas.Thats it. Its very small and can be done in an hour or less with older kids.TIPS:1. Check Groupon before you pay.2. Do not buy tickets in person. Online is way cheaper.3. Coupon codes are useless. No matter what you do, buying the ticket online without coupon code is cheaper. Once you add a code in, regular price jumps to in person price.4. Extra $5 for the book is a nice souvenir but not really worth it. Kids seem to get bored quickly with it and just want to play.5. LADIES! The 4D movie sprays water. So def have something to cover up because your hair and makeup will get wet. They do not warn you.
First time there, I was expecting more Lego models. Cool experience and the models of AZ cities was very nice. Cafe was good not too overpriced. To me it seems more like an indoor Lego playground than anything.
Fun place for a kids birthday party. They serve pizza and cake and have a private room for the party. The rides and 4D movie were cool. Of course tons of Legos everywhere too.
We had an amazing time at Legoland! The staff here is beyond wonderful. They treated our son like he was so special, and answered all our questions politely (even though Im sure theyve been asked the same questions a million times). All kinds of cool things to do in addition to building stuff with Legos - for both the kids AND the grownups. Legoland did not disappoint! Well definitely be back to visit.
This place was fantastic! All the staff we interacted with showed enthusiasm and kindness. There are a ton of activity stations but, CHILDREN MUST LOVE BUILDING or they will get bored. My daughter spent 2 hours building and racing cars. There are also 2 rides that are very fun and theatrically thrilling!
The kids really enjoyed themselves, but it was a lot smaller than the one in Dallas. They only had two actual rides and no splash pad.
I visited today with my three year old, and it was a wonderful experience. She had so much fun and I was surprised by how many activities there were. It was colorful and pleasant. We loved the rides too. Totally worth getting the annual membership for the aquarium and legoland together.
My son really enjoyed it. Only thing is once you leave you cnt get back in.. I wanted to go to SeaLife n return n couldnt
Super clean and not crowded at all! I was super impressed with the easy flow of the place and all the different creative areas they have for interaction, building, and even a nice parents lounge. Lots of courteous employees around and hand sanitizing stations throughout. Very well laid out, colorful and state of the art. Very impressed for the price. Perfect for a hot summer day! The 4D Movie was cool and everything felt very clean and comfortable. I especially love the set up of downtown Phoenix and the Replica of Tempe Mills. These were so impressive and so spot on with all the details!
Its more of a playground for kids to go to and build legos. My six-year-old had fun but its a little expensive for just a play area the rides were OK. But its built for kids 2 to 7 but anybody can have fun building legos just paying $20 to do it not worth it unless you do Annual pass. That way when ever youre there you can stop in and just have the kids play.
Awesome place for younger kids! The 4-D movie was great & I got rained on. We went early so the actual ride lines were a bit lengthy.
Love this place can spend at least 2-3 hours here with 5 year olds and there is reentry.
Great place to take the kids for a day of fun while trying to beat the heat.. although it is playing and having fun, the kids do so while also learning engineering, robotics, and even learn about dinosaurs.. but make sure the kids get the lanyard activity book, and get all the stamps in the book for the prize at the end
Lots of cool buildings, figures, etc. They have a fun ride for the kids. Perfect for kids of all ages.
It was ok. I wish they would have had more people to demonstrate how to make certain things...especial for a child who has never really been interested in Legos before. It was somewhat fun for our 5 year old grandson, but he didnt really know where/how to start.
Our son loves the competitions that happen at LEGOLAND. This is one of the car races they have. It would be awesome if they offered a sensory day once a month. We want to enjoy the room with all of the miniatures but it’s a sensory overload for our autistic child. The cafe has okay food that’s priced a little high for what it is, catered sandwiches and salads. 4D movies are fun! The rides are a good time.
What an awesome place! Actual fun for the whole family, we built, rode rides, the staff were so engaging and clearly liked children, particularly Noah, who was an exceptional addition to our experience. Our 3 year old had the time of his life.
This place is 10x better than I imagined it would be! My kids had a blast here. Every two minutes my daughter would literally stop what she was doing and dance! She was THAT happy!
We loved it and spent hours building. We go during the week so that its not busy.
Great time for the kids. Lots to do rides, build areas for legos, and a playland.
Great place to take young kids, make sure to spend sometime here to get your moneys worth. Lots of cool things to look at and lots of stuff to buy!$$$$ Great place to come if your kid is into legos!
I was pleasently surprised by this lil gem in the desert. Definably plan to send 2-4 hours here. We did not give ourselves enough time to explore and play and see all that this location had to offer but we will come again and again and again. I brought my 2 boys (ages 3 and 9) and a friend we were watching for the day to play. They built cars played in the indoor play ground rode on rides and we were cut short because we didnt allow ourselves enough time to explore everything else. We missed out on the theater and more. Looking forward to making this a summer favorite location. The price to pop in was a great deal when you tag it together with sea life, which is what we did. This is why we didnt have enough time for everything they had to offer. We didnt plan on doing it at all, but so glad we did! We will be back!
At one point I couldnt find my grandson and I notified an employee. IMMEDIATELY she was on the radio describing him to all employees. And just as fast a supervisor was there to reassure me they would find him. Sure enough - he was in the play structure.Loved the 3 D movie - not to long. My 3 year old loved it.Other visitors at Lego land were very nice and friendly.Bummed that the ride was shut down.My advise - they take a picture as soon as you walk in the door. Be sure the photographer takes time to get good pictures.
We went with our boys. It was awesome! Such a fun place and the kids loved it. The detective guy was a particular highlight - truly he was amazing so if you get a chance to do that definitely do it. He was pretending to be an old fashioned detective with the long coat and magnifying glass etc and helped the kids look for clues to solve a mystery. Cant rate him high enough - he obviously loves his job and kids and was the highlight of our trip.
Kids had a blast!@
Good fun for the entire family. My kids loved it! Good way to spend a day!
This place is amazing! So much fun for the kids and the staff is awesome!
I went here with my niece and nephew yesterday and the reviews were not great. Several of the “laser” ride blasters didn’t work. They did a great job disinfecting rides and the movie theater. The tables and food areas were filthy. We were there for two hours and never saw them clean anything despite overflowing trash and lunch rush. The legos and play areas felt sticky...the way old kids’ toys get. They definitely need an update or a major scrub down. We went to watch the 4D movie and ended up being held hostage by an obviously underpaid employee hopped up on energy drinks. Instead of a simple explanation of the theater rules, she went rogue doing a 10 minute, self-titled “lesson in patients”. I’m 39 and it’s one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve had to sit through. It included her climbing over seats to yell in children’s faces, a short lecture on being “lucky” to have the luxury of coming to LEGOland, and the list goes on. She was having a rough day to say the least. If we didn’t have to walk past her we would have left. Go to the aquarium instead.
We had such a good time here. Be prepared to chill out and build stuff with the kiddos. Some cool rides they can enjoy but the 4d theater was the winner. You can go out into the mall and come back in throughout the day which is nice. Will definitely come back
Loved this place! Pricing is great for everything you can do. My son wasnt quite big enough for the rides but we plan on returning when he is. This was his birthday surprise and he was so thrilled. I like that it is so open and the cafe is situated right in the center. It was easy to keep an eye on everyone and theres even quiet room for babies or sensory sensitive people. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully with a few guests in tow next time.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Steven treated to a delightful entry, where we received our annual passes and a through explanation of the fun we had ahead... Want to know more? Youll have to go... Its awesome!
Great place to bring your children to play and have fun all around. This is something for all ages
We’ve been here twice, and my son loves it-Including my husband! We spend hours here because of how creative the boys get. The front staff are very nice. Victor helped us, and definitely made us feel appreciated. Thank you young man for your kind demeanor in making our visit pleasant! As far as the facility it is clean. We do wish they changed up more the theme section in the “Dinosaur room” other than that we recommend it.
Small, but ok....daughter had a lot of fun...
The kids love this place but expect to spend $$$. Went during a weekday and it wasnt very crowded :)They have a couple of rides that are worth going on. A little play area for little toddlers. A lego miniland with some impressive displays. And a few areas where the kids can build legos. It wasnt crowded so it was easy for the kids to get a space to build but I would imagine on a weekend it might be frustrating. The have a little cafe with some pre-made lunch and snacks. Prices werent too bad for food considering where you are.Would go again but expect to spend $120 in tickets for a family of four and thats before food and the lego store that you have to pass through on the way out.Nice to have something like this in AZ and would go again
Had a great time!!
Older kids will probably get bored quickly, but it is a fun place. The little rides are fun, racing Lego cars is cool, and seeing the completed Lego towns are interesting.
Fun with Legos, enjoyable place in the AZ hot weather, good for kids 3+
This place was ok.There are cool legos to look at and several fun activities to keep kids busy. There are a couple of downsides first the admittance price for one day was a bit high. Second the food selection is minimal and not really good. Third the parents can not enter the play area to watch their kids and the employee doesnt watch them either, that isnt great for younger kids.
I think its way too small and disappointing for what you pay. There were few summer camp groups there that were running wild and my 2 year old got pushed and knocked over couple of times. Other building stations were too crowded. The toddler area reeked in urine smell which made me question how often they clean these legos? Hopefully my kids wont get sick. Will not be back again.
Had an amazing day here with my son! Tons to do and the activity booklet was well worth the $5. Totally worth the price since you can ideally spend all day there :)
We expected more of a park atmosphere. Once we got inside though is was wonderful. My adult daughter and I had a much fun as the grandkids!
During the covid19 pandemic you would think companies would easily and quickly give refunds for those requesting it. Not this company. We purchased family annual passes before the pandemic hit to use primarily for spring break when the kids need things to do indoors. Even when restrictions are lifted we dont plan on taking the kids to locations such as these for the rest of the year. So just extending our pass does us no good. Legoland should understand that. I dont even enjoy going to Legoland and the fact that adults are priced the same as kids is ridiculous. Parents just stand around waiting for their kids to get tired or bored. Whichever comes first. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
Loved it! Really fun for small children, very interactive
Great for kids of all ages and tons of interactive things to do. The 4D movie was awesome!
Great place for little kids. I havent really been there in a while since the whole covid thing but last before it was a great place to go to just play with little siblings or kids and have fun. I personally also love Legos so it was fun building and seeing the lego flying ride. Everything was great. Definitely recommend it.
Surpassed my expectations.Kids loved it so very much.
We went with our 1,5 and 6 year old boys whilst visiting from New Zealand.
We had a blast! So fun that we grabbed passes that include the aquarium. Dont forget to bring socks for your littles.
Bought an annual pass and sooo happy we did so.( They were about 40% off, and plus Aquarium pass included). My kids loved it, 2, 3, 7, 10 year olds. Looking forward to visiting this place through out the year.
We always have fun when we come here!My 4 yr old little girl loves the rides, theater and play area. I really like that we can also go to the aquarium for 5$ more and you can leave for a bit and get back in with a stamp. Great fun place to hang out!! Recommend for familys
Cute and worth the money. Even adults can go on the rides.
