It was super fun! Something different to do. Our moderator Kylee was fabulous!! She knew just when to offer a clue to keep up the fun and anticipation. Our room (zombie) was great for adults! If you want to do something challenging with your friends AND use your brain this is the place!

Hannah is amazing! I had a panic attack being in the zombie room and she helped me greatly! Her priorities were making it fun for us and the safety of the zombie. That kind of service is incredible. The zombie room was a blast, it was difficult, at times scary (for me), and lots of fun puzzles! Highly recommend!

Had a great time with me and my party. It was us three and Justin. We started with the ax throwing and everyone there was super friendly and awesome. Justin again made sure to highlight safety concerns all the rules and then made the experience extremely fun. After about an hour of ax throwing we started talking with both Justin and Ian about doing different escape rooms and decided to do the wizard escape room. It was a very in-depth and interactive room. The puzzles were great and do a great job at incorporating some story without making it so in depth that the average person cant participate. There are some great clues and everything is really thought provoking. I will be coming back with anyone I can. Justin was great and so helpful in everyway both with axe throwing and escape rooms. Cannot wait to go back.

Great experience had so much fun doing the Zombie panic escape room. Ethan was so amazing explaining to us what we are to be expecting and also showing us how to deal with the different types of locks we were going to deal with. It was such a fun and thrilling experience being chased by the great zombie Bubba. Had so much fun.Definitely will be returning again!

This place was a blast! Clean environment, Ians instructional was great and he was constantly available for new game instructions and throwing pointers. Definitely a good place to bring a group to for a fun time!

My friends and I have done a few escape rooms before but this was undoubtedly the most fun Ive had! 9 of us did the zombie apocalypse room and had an absolutely amazing experience!The room is designed incredibly well, and doesnt have unnecessary red herrings which eat up time and dont lead you anywhere. But without giving anything away, the most fun part of the experience was the atmosphere of suspense and anticipation they created.Our moderator was wonderful (shout out to Kate) and the actor playing zombie...sorry, the actual zombie theyve caught and kept in captivity, was SO in character (major shout out to Bubba).I highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a great and unique experience.

My friends and I had a blast here! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The escape rooms are extremely authentic and make you believe that you really do need to get out while also giving your adrenaline a rush. Axe throwing was also a blast! The staff member was so nice and took the time to make sure we got the technique down! He also gave us advice along the way on how to improve and really went the extra mile! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanted to have a good time with friends!

I attended Alcatraz Escape Games with my pageant sisters and we had the BEST time! Every room has been thought out down to the little details – the puzzles, the decor, moving from room to room. And to top it off, the staff is AMAZING – so helpful and fun. Lily, you made the perfect zombie! I would highly recommend Alcatraz Escape Games to anyone who is looking to have some fun and share some laughs! This is an experience well never forget!

My husband and I visited Alcatraz a couple months ago for the Harry Potter room, which we loved! We brought our family back this week to try the Zombie Attack room and it did not disappoint. It was definitely more challenging than the Harry Potter room, but was a ton of fun. And, the staff is great. They know how to make sure everyone is having fun.

Had a blast last night at my bachelor party. The staff was friendly, outgoing, and personable. I feel like we became friends with them. The Harry Potter room was awesome! Me and my friends all had a great time. We were helped by Sierra, and she did an amazing job! 10/10 would recommend!

What a rad place!!!!! We did the Harry Potter escape room and I loved it! I’m a total potter nerd and this escape room satisfied my geeky obsession. I totally recommend it! Even if you aren’t into Harry Potter it would still be totally fun. There are other rooms as well plus axe throwing! Great for a group or date night!

Had so much fun! We didn’t escape but next time for sure! We asked if we could still go through the game after to see what we missed and the staff was friendly and allowed us too! Def come out and try them out! Much more entertaining than the usual escape rooms since they use live actors!

I took my brothers to the Alcatraz Escape Room for their birthday and we did the Horcrux Hysteria Room with 5 other friends. The room is everything a Potterhead would want! We were able to escape with 15 minutes on the clock and accepted 1 clue to escape the room. We were able to split into two groups to divide and conquer the challenges and that seemed to help. The longer we were in the room, the warmer it became though. We started fanning ourselves with the book of spells, so it was even more inventive to escape the room. We asked for our picture to be taken at the end of the challenge (I had assumed this might be part of the experience but it wasn’t.) Our game warden Evie was very sweet and helped answer all of our questions. We liked the room and are definitely interested in coming back!

Took the family here for the Harry Potter room. Lots of fun, challenging enough for older crowd but straight forward in some parts so that the younger kids could help out. Definitely recommend it!

Evie was our guide for the Wizarding Hysteria experience. She did a great job explaining the room in advance so that our group was able to enjoy themselves without being impeded by trying to negotiate the nuances of the room and its design features. All in all, a well organized, fun experience.

What an awesome experience! Our group did The Row. It was definitely tricky to get out. Good thing Daisy was there to help us out. She did a really good job with her role. But be aware she likes to take stuff!

The Zombie room was the most intense escape room Ive done(probably because of the zombie that was chasing us, lol), but still very fun. Audrey was our host and she was really cool and fun to talk to! She did a great job monitoring us and was always helpful when we asked for hints(we only needed 3, which was pretty good). Diego, our zombie, was also great at his scary role and we took pictures with him at the end. They also gave us a coupon for the axe throwing, which we plan to do in the future.

Corey and Aubrey (Daisy) were so much fun!! We’ve done all the rooms and The Row one was the best yet and I loved all of the involvement the character had with us. Would love to bring back our families next time :)

The Zombie panic escape game was by far the best escape room I have ever done. This escape room goes above and beyond in their props and immersion! You truly feel like you are in a zombie apocalypse during the experience. The puzzles are amazing and incredibly creative. If you are an escape room lover this is a 10/10 must try!! I would love nothing more than to be able to do this experience again. It was incredibly fun!

This place was great! They do such good job. My husband and I were on vacation in Tempe and we decided to do an escape room. We did the Zombie room and it was a blast! The staff was super amazing and helpful. 10/10 will be going here again next time we are in the area.

My sister brought me in to do an escape room today. It was my first time doing one. It was so cool. Don’t know much harry porter stuff but she said it was legit. We were helped by Daniel and he was super friendly and helpful!

Have done many escape rooms and enjoyed Wizard Hysteria, it just didnt wow me. The decor was just so so and the room was too dark. The clues were well thought out but difficult to work on different ideas at same time. Great concepts for the rooms, we will try the other rooms at some point.

If you are looking to take a step out out of reality Alcatraz Escape Room Games is the place to go! Corey pleasantly welcomed us and clearly explained what we were going to expect. Diego had awesome acting skills; made us feel as if he really wanted to eat our brains! Keep up the great work guys we enjoyed every moment and have already told so many people about our great experience.

Really enjoyed our visit, Thomas was great as our prisoner helper. Going back soon for another go around, lots of fun!

A group of friends and I did the wizard room tonight! It was a blast! Im a big Harry Potter fan and I really enjoyed all the story elements in the room. The puzzles were great and challenging. We had to ask for hints but made it out in 57 minutes. I would love to come back for the zombie or prison rooms!

We visited the Harry Potter escape room, Wizard Hysteria with another group. It was our first experience with an escape room and it was awesome! Professor A. was extremely friendly and helpful. Looking forward to another visit!

Overall awesome experience! Our group of 8 did “the row” escape room and escaped with 10 to spare. We’ve done a few as a family and this one was one of the better experiences we’ve had. It was our first time experiencing lasers and live character involvement. Jimmy the inmate played the role fantastically. Can’t wait to try the other rooms especially the zombie themed one!

Thanks to an awesome group of women who were very well versed in Harry Potter, we were able to escape the Wizard rooms. Would love to do this again!!! Such a fun time.

For a first visit, I would have to say it was pretty amazing. The staff was incredibly pleasant and very helpful. Daniel was just the right amount of quirky and charismatic personality I would like for an escape room. We did the Harry Potter room. My mom is a escape room veteran but it was my sister, niece and my first time.We had a blast! The room was great. Clues helped us out and Jonathan was so nice. Would definitely go back!!

We did the Zombie room and it was amazing! Ive done dozens of escape rooms, and this was one of my favorites. The atmosphere and set design was so cool, and it was made especially better due to our awesome zombie actor Billy. She legit scared the heck out of me in the best possible way. 10/10 would get chased again. Our game master Audrey was also great! She was very fun and enthusiastic and helpful. Im definitely excited to do more of their rooms in the future!

Visited Alcatraz Escape Rooms this past week with some friends and played through Row. We were all pretty new to escape rooms, but Corrie (aka Officer Jones) gave us the run down and was super welcoming. I had a ton of fun! A definite recommendation from me. Facilities were clean, too. Not many places can say that lol.

First time doing an escape room for just about everyone in our large group (about 10 of us) The Harry Potter room was an absolute blast! Correy was our puzzle master. When we needed a hint, she was tremendously helpful, yet she didnt just spoonfeed us answers. Would highly recommend it to anyone. We will be back!

High paws for Alcatraz from my pup, Detective Jake Peralta service dog. I also give The Row and our trusty escapee Doug Judy 5 stars. We had so much fun and having a live actor who is hilarious in the room made the experience so much more fun.The props were realistic (real handcuffs!) and there were several surprises in The Row I wont give away.I cant wait to try to wizard adventure, though Im a bit nervous about the zombie room. Such a blast and thank you to our game master and convict for the awesome time.

Alcatraz offers a really great Escape Game experience. We managed to complete 2 rooms during our visit. It was so nice we did it twice! Corie and Ian were great staff. Very knowledgeable and engaging. Easy to book, great parking and immersive rooms to explore. Id highly recommend Alcatraz for your next Escape Game!

We just visited Alcatraz Escape Rooms last night. It was birthday celebration. We are Harry Potter fans and visited the Wizards Hysteria Room. It was Amazing. The puzzles were challenging and fit with the theme of the room. The rooms were beautifully decorated. We all really enjoyed all the little details that tied to the Harry Potter lore. Our game master, Professor A was awesome. The hints when we needed them were as much fun as the puzzles in the room. She helped take the experience to another level. We gave been going to many different escape rooms and this has been one of my favorites. We are looking forward to visiting Alcatraz Escape Rooms again to try a different room. Thank to everyone we had a Fantastic time!

Went here for my friend’s birthday. It was just us two, so less brain power than normal for an escape room. We did the Harry Potter themed one. The staff member Rochelle that helped was incredibly friendly and helpful! I wish there was just some type of prompting or clue to get the ball rolling on getting the horcruxes. However, I would definitely come back and try the two other rooms!

Smaller place with fewer games but I loved it here. The staff was incredibly friendly and they even let us try out axe throwing next door. Located in an odd complex but I hope this place will come up with new games.

This place is AMAZING! My friends and I did the Harry Potter room for my birthday and I’m so happy we did. The attention to detail was so cool! We made it out but not without hints from the awesome Corrie. She was hilarious, helpful, and so kind! Escape rooms are my new favorite thing and I can’t wait to come back. You don’t need to know any Harry Potter trivia for this room but it’s so much better when you do!

Our group of 4 did the Wizard themed room. It was the best themed room Ive ever done and tied for the best puzzles and game play. However, the management of this location should review other escape rooms and take into practice what is best for the customer. First, escape rooms should be private regardless of the number in your party. Why do you want to be locked up with people you dont know and then awkwardly trying not to step on each others toes to complete the room. Second, the maximum amount of people for the room was 12. We had 11. 11 people cannot be solving puzzles at the same time, nor could we all even fit in part of the room. Based on the amount of puzzles, 6 would be ideal for this room, 8 at the most. Finally, we paid $30 per person to possibly participate for 7 minutes of the hour, due to the number of people plus having strangers in the room that you dont want to offend. They insist on having the room be full without private bookings, yet we did not see any other groups in the building before, after, or doing the other available rooms at our booking time. For $30/hour, private bookings or offering another room with a different theme (when not busy) would have been reasonable.

Did the wizard escape with my BFF. Great room for beginners and Harry Potter fans. Sierra, our game master, was really cool.Great things about the room: the theme, the puzzles, the atmosphere. The costumes were an amazing touch that every Harry Potter fan appreciates for sure.Suggestions: you should have more magic-like puzzles. The first door that opens is hands down the best puzzle in the room. You should have more things like that to really let people get into character.

So much fun! Will be back! It was also really nice of the lady to let us switch time slots once we realized we were booked with a little girls birthday party. Went for the harry potter room and ended up doing the zombie room. Very happy with it! Very very well done.

Most fun Ive had being scared!

For my first escape room experience, I couldnt have asked for a better one. The staff (Cory especially) was incredibly friendly and entertaining, and we had a really fun and challenging time. We escaped with a few minutes to spare (no shame in using hints as a beginner). Im a little upset that my girlfriend had to die at the end, but I mean three of us got out, so I can deal with that math.

I went with a group of about 10 people and we had the BEST time doing the Zombie-themed puzzle/room. It was really impressive how there was more than one room, almost like a maze that has multiple doors. It kept the entire experience very exciting! Our game master Audrey and the zombie (Billie) did an awesome job!

This place is great. My friends and I did Zombie Panic! Ive been to a bunch of escape rooms before and this has been my favorite experience. The rooms and puzzles were put together so well, and having a live actor is brilliant. Shout out to Buddy! Best. Zombie. Ever. We did the Wizard room, and it was a lot of fun. Its one of the easiest rooms my family has done, but it was still tons of fun and well designed. I loved it, and the Game master was patient with us, even when we wanted several pictures in the room. (I felt a little bad because I knew we were their last customers for the night, but she didnt lose her professionalism even though it was clear she was very tired, so kudos to Prof A.)

My friend and I did the Harry Potter escape room, it was amazing! The room has pretty cool props and decor and the puzzles are tricky,yet doable. Sierra was helping us when we asked her for clues, she was so sweet and helpful. Will def come back :)

Im so happy to have come across this Escape Room. I truly believe it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had although my team struggled without clues but we loved the challenge! I appreciate Ian, a great employee who was very clear with the directions and put great effort into making sure we had a blast!

We had a blast in The Row room! We have done escape rooms before, and enjoyed the puzzles in this room. Not too difficult, not too easy. We escaped in about 39 minutes.There were a few elements that didnt seem to be working correctly, but it didnt take too much away from the experience.Audrey was a wonderful fellow inmate, we really enjoyed her!

Easy to find. Friendly and courteous staff. Had locker space to store belongings while playing. Very good quality rooms and puzzles. Easy to book online and has average pricing. My group really enjoyed playing the wizard room. Were definitely ready to come back again to do a different challenge.Just went back and did the row. I loved the Alcatraz theme and the inmate (Aubrey) was fantastic. Her acting was great and she added an authentic element to the room. Will definitely be back!

My group of 8 did the Zombie Panic room and we had the best time of our lives. Out of every escape room we did in Arizona, this was the best escape room I have ever done. One of the workers Ian was so helpful and nice when our group needed a clue every second of the game. Our zombie actor Corrie was amazing as well!! Our group was super scared and it was literally so much fun! Thanks to Ian and Corrie!!! We for sure will be back to play the other rooms.

This place was a mind boggling experience! My brain is actually throbbing because I haven’t had to think that hard in so long definitely was a good team building exercise. My favorite part was the zombie, Diego! He was so scary and realistic I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, mind boggling, & totally different experience

This was a fun way to celebrate achieving a goal with our team. We were new to escape rooms, and the staff did a great job helping us find our way during the experience. The room was designed nicely, the clues werent gimmes, and everyone had a great time.

The four of us were visiting from LA and wanted to try out some escape rooms in AZ during our weekend trip. We tried the Zombie Panic room and had so much fun! It was so scary and intense trying to solve puzzles with Jonathan the zombie scaring the daylights out of us. Audrey was also a great game master. Totally recommend this room!

SO MUCH FUN!!!! My group and I played the zombie room and that was the hardest Ive laughed in the past year. We had such a great time. Corrie and Thomas were so amazing. They were very attentive and made the experience one of the best experiences Ive ever had at an escape room. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve done a lot of escape rooms, but this place is by far one of the most challenging and fun experiences I have ever had. Ian has always provided the best service for every room I have done. Raquel also was an amazing zombie.

We did “The Row” and it was super fun! Really creative clues & puzzles and not scary at all. Definitely suspenseful but not scary!

I thought I posted before but apparently I didnt so Im going to review both times that I went.The first time my friends and I went, we did the Harry Potter room. Professor A was amazing, she gave a great tutorial, was super friendly and helpful. She made sure we were able to get some photos from our experience which I appreciated. She then got us signed up for our next escape room!The second time we went, we did the zombie room. It was a little terrifying but in a fun way that its supposed to be. Jonathan was a very scary little Zombie and made me jump/scream multiple times. Ian was a great leader directing us through the maze and only made fun of a blunder that I did in the room a little bit - but in a fun way LoLI hope they make more rooms there because I would 100% go to even more of their rooms. Great experience, fun puzzles and just an amazing time with friends

My boyfriend and I went here for my birthday and it was just the 2 of us doing “The Row”. I really enjoyed it even though we had a tiny team! The decorations were awesome and starting out handcuffed was super fun. It was pretty challenging and we needed a lot of clues but we made it out! And our inmate Tom helped us out a lot and even made us laugh a few times it was a really fun experience, I’d love to go back for the Harry Potter room!

We had so much fun here! It’s very well put together, the puzzles are hard to solve- but not too hard, each room is true to its name and almost magical! We loved it. Great way to spend time together and get to know each other even better! Highly recommend!

All around awesome place! If you want to expierience a great team building activity this is the place! The wizard room was amazing. Ian the manager, was a lovely guide and the ax throwing expierience is to die for! In small or large groups you definitely want to check this place out!!!

Awesome time! We originally bought The Row but there were technical difficulties, so Billie and Grace were super accommodating and offered us the Zombie Panic room instead. Grace was a great zombie and definitely freaked us out, and Billie was a fantastic game master. Some of the puzzles are definitely tricky, I suggest having a big group for the Zombie Panic. Well be coming back in a couple weeks to do The Row!

We had such a great time! The game maker corrie was so amazing and made sure we stayed well behaved but in a great and fun way! She laughed with us and cheered us on! This was our second room with Alcatraz (the first was the Harry Potter room) and it was even better than the last one! I went with my sisters and a friend, and we all had a great time. The room we went with was The Row. I was worried that a room focusing on escaping death row would be creepy, but it wasnt creepy at all. There was even a live actor included, Antonia (aka Rachelle), who did an amazing job helping us to escape. Were it not for her, we definitely would have died on death row. Emily, our puzzle master, helped us out too. Cant wait to try out another room!
