I love this place. It has pretty much everything. Picnic tables spread out and under a pavilion. Barbecue grills. Boat launch. Playground for the kids. Clean bathrooms. Riverbank fishing (brackish water). The view of the fishing and pleasure boats going in and out of the river mouth is always interesting. Dolphin sightings in the morning hours and in the afternoon coming back out of the river. And dont let me forget the beach, it is clean. Tidal currents can be strong at times, but some geriatrics use this to their advantage to exercise. 6 Stars.
Love this quiet little nature trail and park. Quick walks so you dont over do it with the puppers and heat.
Nice little park with bathrooms and a playground. There are also some great little natural Florida trails. The trails are great for a mtn bike ride as they are shell base but do connect with the Pinellas Suncoast trail system. About 2 miles of trails with 2 nice single track loops.Bring your bug spray and would not recommend after dark since it is very dark. There is a bridge over the river and some good spots to fish. If your in the area and looking for a place to maybe have lunch by the water or stretch your legs, this is it. Usually easy parking and no crowds.
So beautiful and serene. Long walks with a multitude things to experience. The playground is great, restroom is a good plus. I suggest packing a picnic and meandering through the trails. Some spots are breathtaking.
Location is great. Needs the second trail bathroom to be open. Could be a great place. Options for camping would be great to.
Pretty unkempt. Could use a major overhaul. Great location, though.
Nice little trail to take a walk or go for a bike ride very clean any must do trip for anyone
I ride my bicycle to this park from time to time and love that it has access to the Pinellas trail. I also like that it has trails to go fishing out on 2 of the docks that are nicely off the beaten path. Great family spot or just time to see the water and be by yourself to enjoy nature at its finest.
I was out on a friends boat & saw the park. Looks like a nice place to go with children. They have a small beach & play ground for the kids to play on. What a beautiful view of the water.
Fun safe place
Wonderful playground for toddlers and older children. Great hiking trails to stretch legs or talk a casual walk with family. Even your dog will thank you! Check it out.
This park is close to home of my grandchildren. They visit regularly. Everything seems to be in good shape and safe for the kids.
One of my favorite parks. Great trails. Mostly along water (Anclote river). Pinellas trail runs through the park. Great place to ride bikes or put in kayaks/canoes.
Cool place for a stop very hot in the middle of day early or late is best times
Had a nice time walking the trails and Geocaching. Didnt see any wildlife but it certainly seems to be a place that you might even though it is in an urban area. Some trails take you along the Anclote river and others into wooded areas. One trail entrance has a playground and bath rooms.
Always nice and not too busy bathrooms are good too.
Amazing find! Easy trail heads right to the river!
Nice shell-covered paths, good walking
Its quiet. There arent any people loitering or asking for things. My daughter was able to play safely. There is a beautiful nature trail with wild animals
Boy friend loves it
Great walk, nice trail, clean restrooms
Its a small, somewhat secluded park. We found a huge turtle that lives near the playground.
Cute park, clean restrooms, pretty shaded with trail that connects to other anclote parks
Really needs some updates. Limited play equipment.
Brought my 4 year old son here for some fishing. Be forewarned, its quite a walk down the trails to the fishing pier. My son struggled after a bit carrying his small fishing rod and water bottle. He pushed on like the little champ he is!The signage could be a tad better on the trails. None of them actually mentioned which way the fishing pier was. Luckily I snapped a picture of the trail map before we walked in.The fishing pier is pretty good for a couple of people, but would get crowded quickly. The railing is fairly high too, not allowing my son any chance to cast out because it was above his head. Defeated, we hiked back to the playground. The playground is very nice and clean. They have 2 playsets(toddler and kid sized) and a small swingset. The park was open, but the bathrooms remained locked while I was there.
No dogs allowed
Great park with parking and access to the Pinellas Trail
Fun for kids
Beautiful and unspoiled trails that lead to the awesome Anclote River which connect to the beautiful Pinellas Trail!
I WILL ALWAYS BRAG, REMINISCE, AND CHERISH THIS PLACE FOREVERMORE!
Nice little park but the ants bugs and spiders are out of control and everywhere usually only go here to walk the trail or ride bikes not for the park
Never many people, always lots of nature! We love this park! The only bad thing is sometimes there are unsupervised teenagers looking like they are up to no good.
Great place a picnic, peaceful & clean
Great place to take an hour or more and walk the trails.
This is a great park for bicycle riding and walking. There is much more to it than what is visible from the parking area. It is a great picknic place.
Its a great walk but the bathrooms are all locked??????
Great nature park, nice play area for the kids. The trail goes all the way to the river and eventually joins up with the Pinellas trail. Truly one of North Pinellas great parks.
Nice park. Access to bike trail. 2 observation/ fishing decks. Has canoe/kayak launch area.
Very natural very quiet
Its a great park but it is currently closed and has been closed for the last week for maintenance it looks like theyre cutting a lot of the overgrown trees and vines
It was awsome
A great place to visit
Great place to get back to Nature with the kids
Fun..my daughter loved it.
Great place for walking, bicycling and nature watching. It connects to the Pinellas Trail, and it also has a playground for the little ones, and restrooms.
Its a great park but not well kept ant piles were everywhere and i wish they had at least one more bigger kid swings so siblings didnt fight over the one swing.
Pretty small park, but has decent playground. It also has public restrooms.
Nice park with hiking trails and access to the Pinellas Trail.
Great location to start your bicycle ride
Beautiful trails clean park.

Nice park along with a place to swim and walk under shade.
This is a cute little park with a few short nature trails and access to two trails into Tarpon Springs.
Love this park. Trails and fishing pier.
