This park needs attention. Maybe someone should look at Foster playground or Palma Ceia Lyons. For examples
Great park for the kids lots of space for them to run bathrooms are always locked though
Nice quiet place to sit and have a bite to eat.
Football field, basketball courts, playground and water fountains. Wouldnt go here at night.
Its big there are some places to work out and I believe, 2 baseball fields.
Camp Gladiator holds daily bootcamps there! Kids can play in the park while the adults get tortured for an hour!
This park is quite and very nice football field Pavilion barbeque pit kids play ground area great for kids and gathering
Great place to kill time on a sunny day.
There is a football field there and a basketball court plus 2 picnic tables under a Pavillion and there is a small playground with a set of 4 swings for kids and adults then there is a set of 4 baby swings. One thing I do say watch out for is ants on the football field they have it really bad there. Other than that its a great place to go play with friends and family and even have a picnic.
Skyview Park is a nice little section in South Tampa mostly used by the different sports leagues around the area including Rugby teams my only knock on this area would be the parking situations is very bad and at times it can be quite a clutter theres no vending machines out here so you will have to pretty much bring your own refreshments and you need them cuz it gets hot no overhead are canopies or anything like that
Skyview Park is a little South Tampa Secret. Its on a dead-end street just south of Interbay Boulevard and has a huge open field use regularly on the weekends for little league cheerleading and other organized sporting events for children. If you enjoy peace and quiet coming here during the day Monday through Friday would be excellent for you. Whether you like to jog, walk, read, or my personal favorite putting in my headphones and swinging on the swing set like I was still a teenager weather permitting youll be very happy you came. On the weekends Skyview Park is a completely different place altogether. The normally quiet Street the park is located on becomes flooded with wealthy families escorting their kids to the many different organized sporting events the park holds Saturdays and Sundays. If peace and quiet or being surrounded by happy go lucky well-to-do families isnt your thing then hitting up the park any night of the week just Before Sunset is perfect for a mixed vibe, and though you likely wont have the Park all to yourself you will have plenty of space to roam but will have other patrons also enjoying the facilities along with you.The park offers you acres and Acres of pristine, well well-kept grass, multiple basketball courts, a versatile soccer / football field, a baseball field, a complete toddler play set, childrens play set, and several covered picnic areas available for parties or special events.**Bonus, Circle C Ranch shares a fence with Skyview Park. So if you or possibly your children, enjoy horses or other farm animals you are almost guaranteed to be able to walk up to the fence and watch them from Skyview Park.If possible I will regret sharing my knowledge of this part with whomever happens to read this review, but I know how much I love this place and if anyone decides to check it out because of how much I love it... Then its all good with me. Just dont tell everybody about it. It can be our secret lol
I love this park.
A nice quiet place with benches and a basketball court. But the electrical outlets did not work.
Great public park with playground basketball court baseball field and football field
Love this park it very chill here
Small park, has a large field for football or just running. There is a functional playground area. Also this park has a baseball diamond and an entrance to a walking trail. The only issue I have, which is a big one...once we got out of the car we immediately found a hyperdermic needle on the ground.
Nothing great but field is nice
A beautiful park. There is a PokéStop on the way in and a PokéGym at the southern end. Nice place to have a picnic with your family.
This park is equipped with a baseball diamond, football field with uprights count and 2 full basketball courts as well as 2 picnic areas and a playground. What more could you possibly ask for from a park?
This park is located in the South Tampa area between MacDill ave and Dale Mabry Hwy. Just north of MacDill air force base. It has several base ball areas picknik grounds bathrooms fresh water pond to fish. There is a wooded trail to walk on that streches from himes ave all the way to dale mabry. You can see planes close up as they land and take off from the airbase. Directions is go all the to the end of Himes ave. or Macdill ave. It will be just before the entrence to Macdill air base or centcom as is known today.
Park was open but restrooms were locked up before the hours of the park were even closed I dont know if someone dropped the ball or not
Field was in good condition, gras was just a bit tall for our rugby game
