One of the best Hindu temple in north america. Starting from the deities, prayers and delicious south Indian food..its awesome. Service is the best. I called during their off hours with questions. Immediately, after I left a missed call, I got text asking for any help needed. I dont think, any non profit does this.

The place is lovely. But it is not a large compound. The main building is a work of art that truly needs to be seen first hand but this isnt a place your going to spend hours unless your praying. I still recommend this as a must see

The place is well maintained. It is a recently built structure. Not much guidance for new commers. Should not miss the food at the on site restaurant. Prices are very reasonable.

This review is not for temple, I really like the temple. But I’m writing the review to bring up how front desk people talk to devotees. Today morning I called temple to make an appointment for satyanarayana varatham. the front desk employee was talking unnecessary topics to her peers for 8mins like ’keep me a calendar for side.,etc.,’ she didn’t even say wait for a second. Such a careless employee. She spoke to me like she didn’t have any manners at all. I would like to complain this to committee. This is not the way how temple front desk people should treat devotees, people comes to temple for peace of mind not to face this kind of people.

Clean and Well maintained. Celebrating Diwali here was really fun and exciting.

Temple is peaceful and well maintained. But canteen needs some change. We bought 5 laddus which had smell of sambar. Looks like cleanliness is not maintained inside canteen especially in the kitchen.

Really liked this Temple. Felt as if Im back in India. Clean, divine and peaceful. They also have a wonderful canteen with most delicious vegetarian food I have had in recent times.Totally loved the experience and feel blessed to have visited here.

Loved this temple! It’s unique in the sense that it seems like a South Indian one but it has a North Indian aura to it. Not that it matters but it’s an interesting mix.We also happened to see an eagle’s nest on top of the temple and it was the most delightful add on to the trip.

This temple is huge. There is a Jain temple in the campus too. You can find all of your favorite God and Goddess here. They have a small canteen and they serve very Authentic vegetarian food at very low cost.

Totally safe to visit even during pandemic as they have covid precautionary measures implemented strictly.

I had a good experience here. Didnt know the rules though. You must take off your shoes and no photos. (I took 3 before seeing a sign) Awesome architecture and ornate carvings. I sat in briefly during prayer time and it was interesting. Parking lot was a bit rustic. Recommend

Great source for educational learning, and for those who are intrested in studying the Hindu religion/culture. People at the temple are extremely friendly. And make sure you are comfortable, and not rushed into the religion, they dont force it upon you which is makes you feel alot more welcomed, and a part of the community. The Majestic temple is one of the most amazing structures I have seen in my life, and coming from someone who has traveled all over the U.S. its a very impressive feat. The whole area as a whole just a gold mine for both nature lovers, but for people who want to experience unique cultures. To summarize I believe this Temple is just breathtaking, and demands to be seen in person. The hospitality is extremely welcoming, and is definitely worth exploring for those who want to learn something new.10/10

I was happy to visit as I was looking for a peaceful place for mind - body - soul, so my friend brought me. Signs all over said complete silence and no phones ( which I was happy about) however while trying to enjoy the peacefulness the lady working the door had her phone ringer on loud and was answering her calls - this ruined the experience .

Beautiful and serene Hidu temple with Saibaba, Hanuman and Navagraha at the bottom front on the temple and main deity is Vishnu with Lakshmi and Shankar, Subrmanya and Ganapati . There is Naga deva on the outside surroundings of the temple too.

I am giving this temple 1 star because the biggest disappointment is the Pujari who is on his cellphone when devotees are before him receiving blessings. He is not only disrespecting the devotees who visit the temple but the role which he plays in our religion. I have been to temples in India and all over the USA, I have NEVER seen a Pujari behave like this. If any one of us were on our phones while we were working, we would be fired.If he wants to be on his phone, he can do it at home. Not when devotees are coming to the temple to receive blessings and renew their faith. I hope that he, his superiors, the devotees of this beautiful temple, and any visitors call him out on his atrocious, disrespectful and embarrassing behavior.

Must place to visit in Tampa.All the festivals are celebrated very nicely here.All the main Indian mythology idols are worshipped with proper rituals.Another thing which attracts lot of people here is the Temple Canteen.THEY SERVE THE BEST DOSAS IN US!Go try their ghee masala dosa, it is the best!medu vada is also very tasty. They serve unlimited hot sambhar with every meal.

An absolute gem of Tampa. Gorgeous Hindu architecture that will please any gazer who walked onto premises of this temple. I had a pleasure to photograph an amazing wedding there and I felt like a kid in the candy shop, this location simply has so much to offer for a photographer. If anyone has a chance to visit this place you should do it!

Beautiful Hindu Temple and devotees can find statues of Ganesha, Sai Baba, Lord Shiva, Satyanarayana, Goddess Lakshmi, Murugan Swamy, Vishnu, Rama Family, Bajrang Bali. Temple Priests provide pooja services like Abhisheka, Archana, Homa, Kalyanotsava, Samoohika Sathyanarayana Pooja, Vahana Pooja. Canteen located in the temple serves very delicious food over the weekends and prices are reasonable. Lots of free parking.

I found this place on Atlas Obscura and decided to go check it out. They offer tours on their website and we signed up for the Saturday tour at 1:30. We met our tour guide and he brought us to a small classroom where he gave us an awesome presentation on Hinduism. It lasted about one hour and was very informative and well presented. After then, our guide took us to the Temple and we were able to go inside and look around. We ended the tour by going to the cafe they have on the grounds and getting some delicious Indian food. It was quite a cool experience and I recommend taking the tour.

The Hindu Temple of Florida in Tampa is an ornate place of worship. I ate the most authentic Indian food Ive ever tasted in the cafeteria adjacent to the Temple that is open on the weekend.

Hindu temple is the best holy place for Hindus and Indians. Very clean and well maintained temple. Many Pooja / offerings, services can be performed. They also have good Cafe where Dosa is really good. Must visit temple.

What a great experience. The movie is no frills with basic Indian cuisine. The prices are very reasonable. Its cafeteria style ordering, place your order at the register and pay. The menu listing is on the white board, no paper menus.This place is off the beaten path but well worth the visit.

This is a very nice temple. There are a lot of dieties in this place. The whole pure feeling really exists here. It is very well constructed and is very close to the Indian cultural society. It is open in the morning and the evening on weekdays and is open throughout the day from 9:30 AM on weekends. There is ample parking. They serve breakfast at the Prasad Sadan on weekends starting from 11:30 AM. Everyone should visit, it doesnt have to be a religious thing. You can just go here to get some peace and quiet.

This Hindu Temple is famous for its weekend Kitchen which is definitely not a miss. Food is authentic Indian cuisine from Southern India Mouth watery menu.

The Temple is beautiful and has idols of many Gods like Hanuman, Ganesh, Shiva, Sai Baba, Lakshmi, Ram-Seeta, etc. The ambience of the place and its maintenance is superb. Also, in the canteen you have a huge variety of Indian fast foods like Dosa, Idli, Wada etc. The costs are very reasonable and taste is awesome.

This is the one of the big Hindu temple in tampa. Also beside this temple theres Indian community available.

It was a great place and I personally had a Darshan of Siva, Ganesha, Subramanyeswara Swamy, Lakshmi,Sai Baba, Hanuman.

Hindu temple management is not spending all the donations for mahaprasadam whatever we contribute. Instead of they are encouraging the devotees to buy food from their canteen. I am not sure why/how people are giving good reviews on this Temple and their bad management. I never seen such a arrogant people in anywhere.

Im posting 3 stars because I only ordered a shrimp roll n wonton soup. Neither was that good.

Temple is calm and pleasant. There is a canteen as well. Food is great. The temple steps are of marble and at summer time it’s hot for people to climb steps bare foot. Over all my experience was good. I spent around 1 hour. Full relaxation and stress free. Jai Sree ram

My family lives on the same street as the temple (which is absolutely beautiful and amazingly well maintained). However I must rant in re to the ignorance,arrogance and just plain disregard from the visitors and worshipers the parking is a major concern for all that live or visit the area. They will park on the street right along the sides and not even in the grass right on the road so now its become one lane and traffic gets crazy during their open hours. The worst part is they have bought up all the property around the temple and one house has many members which brings more cars they need to utilize the parking lot of the temple instead of acting like they are the only people that use that road.other then that it seems like a peaceful place and drama free.
