Small bit of Cuba in Tampa. Lots of seating. Good place to take pics but seriously small. No playground for kids, not that kind of park
Interesting to be on Cuban soil in this park. It needed a little attention, but was charming none the less.
Its cool that this is a little piece of Cuba in the US, but theres really nothing here worth seeing. Its just a small lot of land with a couple statues. It was very well maintained though.
Nice well kept property. A lot of history in Ybor you just need to look for hidden placed items. Photo opportunity everywhere with excellent backgrounds.
Lovely park ️
A very interesting place. Its actually owned by Cuba. The park has some benches toward the back and some statues of famous Cubans. Warning: summers in Florida can be brutal. Take sunscreen and water whenever you are outside.
Very nice. A peace of Cuba in Ybor City.
Cool that its actually owned by Cuba but not much to see there.
I love. Only takes a couple of minutes to stop by on a little history about the city
Neat piece of Cuba on US soil.
Great historic little park. Loved being able to enter park.
Visiting with family for the first time. It was very beautiful there and Loved it and was happy to be able to go and take pictures!
Soil from Cuba planted here. Jose Marti dedicated park. Great history. Why tell you about it? Educate yourself, visit, read, be informed, travel.
Good place for learning Cuban heritage
This tribute to Jose Marti I found very moving. He is a hero in Ybor City as well as Cuba.
Interesting, but locked. It was well kept and good signage. I would have liked to have been able to explore it more.
Great Historic place to visit
Excellent historical landmark. Beautifully maintained park. Take the local Segway tour and be brought directly to the park and hear its amazing story.
When you step form the sidewalk and into the park you leave the United States and enter Cuba, amazing
Always interesting to see Cuba in Florida!
Great place, but locked on weekends. Owned by Cuba.
Its a nice little park.
This very small parkt is a piece of Cuban soil, donated from USA to the Cuban migrants that made this part of Tampa, now called Ybor City, one of the most successful industrial experiences on the Florida history. Soil from all de Cuban provinces was brought to this park dedicated to the Cuban hero and poet Jose Martí, who came multiple times to request from the cigar workers their help for the liberation of Cuba.
Amazing piece of history and an interesting story. If you take the Segway tour of Ybor City, they take you inside of this park, on foot. The tour guide makes a special stop, unlocks the gate and escorts the group inside. He also locks the gate on the way out. #awesome
Tampa historical site.
This is a great little park with lots of shades all around and I wish I would come here soon.
Interesting place, easy to find in the beautiful neighborhood of Ybor.
It’s a really beautiful small park and represents such a part of the Cuban history in Tampa. The park is small and close early, you should ask the Museum and go with the tour.
Its a nice park and very well maintained with some really nice history. If you are in the area its a cool place to stop by and relax for a few moments but you can complete your entire visit here in 5 to 10 minutes but really depends how long you want to reflect. There is a statue which serves as the center piece of the park. By no means would I consider it a great value to the art community but the park is here to remind all of Jose Martis contribution to a free Cuba.
Makes you go back in time. Must go!
We love visiting this place.
Beautiful piece of Cuba!
The park is closed on weekends.
First time on Cuban soil...
Interesting history and plot of Cuban Territory in USA.
An historical landmark in Ybor City...
Very beautiful park
Calm shady place
The open hours in Google maps are wrong. They only open Monday through Friday.
Very beautiful and peaceful!
A well taken care of park. Too bad the house is no longer there.
A small park with quite an interesting history (and great source for a trivia question). The 0.14 acre park stands in tribute to Martí as well, complete with a statue of the revolutionary, but surprise!...... its Cuban territory. The park has been owned by the Cuban government since 1956, when it was bequeathed in a will to the Cuban people.
Me and my dog like to go and relax there
Go to Cuba, in Ybor City!
Had fun in Cuba
Cubans history.
Nice.
Cuban landmark in Tampa
Nice small park to see a historical piece of Tampa. Very limited hours.
Who knew I could visit Cuba on a whim, no hassles no baggage? A small plot of the motherland right here, in America!
This is Cuban soil. Deeded to the republic of Cuba on the tax rolls. In some ways an anachronistic unique piece of land.
Great history and reverence
Just a cool little park with an interesting history.
