Great place to walk with kids or dogs and not have to watch out for traffic. You can do a small lap around the lake or make it a longer walk by going past the baseball fields. The playground is mediocre, never many kids there. The dog park is a great place to hang out with your dog. The dog owners I have met have always been friendly and cleaned up after their pup!

This is a great park for the entire family! There is a trail for bicycling, inline skating, walking/running that goes around the perimeter. It surrounds a nice lake. Even when its busy it doesnt get crowded because of of how spread out it is. Love this place!

Great path around the lake for jogging or biking. Playground is small but the kids enjoy it and tons of trees to climb!

Nice circle track around a lake but the track is not shady. Great for morning or evening run.

The area for small dogs was not very grassy. It was well taken care of overall though.I think it would be better for large dogs. There was a large fenced in area for big dogs to run and play.

Been going to this lake for years. Great for walking the dogs or yourself. A place for friendly people and a separated fenced in dog area incase theres dogs you want to avoid on one side.

Great park for a walk, run, bike ride, relaxing by the lake, softball, or to bring your dogs (2 dog parks). The trails are paved and its usually very quiet. No playground for the kids and water fountains are sparse, so bring water and be ready for something else with the kids (bike riding, frisbee, etc.).

Great park. Has a great pond to fish in, paved walking trails, workout stations and play area. It’s very well maintained and clean.

My dog loves this park! For the most part the people are friendly and the dogs for the most part are friendly as well, but not everybody picks up after their dog.

I did the Pizza 5k here and was impressed with the nice running trail. It was a figure eight and the only obstacles were in a construction zone but it was not bad at all. Looking around at the park as I ran.....it is a nice place to take the kids and adults to do outside sporting activities.

So many amazing memories here. Great dog parks. Although, the regulars at the park need to learn to control their intact male dogs. Its not funny watching them gang up on the smaller dogs.

Decent place. We are there for our Rec League games on Thursday nights. Fields could use some TLC. Also, make sure you gone before closing time because the security guard WILL come by and kick that a** out!

Its an awesome place to take your family, take a walk on the trail, sign your kid up at Interbay Little League or take your dog to the park.

I feel it just needs to be better maintained and an actual open bathroom would be great. Also Ive never seen the sports fields open so you can use them. We like the dog park though! Also the walking trail is great the playground is slowly being renovated and made better.

Be careful with your dogs around others at this dog park. My dog was attacked and is now getting surgery done. Also my wife had to go to the ER at Memorial hospital for surgery as the dog almost tore her finger off. If you know who the guy (Caucasian 5’11” wearing red shirt and brown shorts) and I’m assuming his wife (Caucasian 5’4” wearing blue pants, and a sweater) are with the two larger dogs (same breed light brown and the other dark brown/black not sure of breed maybe pit bull mix) please let me know as I had to rush my family to the hospital and didn’t get their info.

This park has such a great trail for walkingand running, but unfortunately the city is not enforcing an ordinance that says all dogs need to be leashed when on the trails. Quite a few dog owners are allowing their not so nice dogs to run around unleashed, barking and chasing people and other leashed dogs. Its a safety hazard for those of us walking and running on the trails as you dont know when the dog is going to bite you. Its been going on for years with nothing being done about it. Obviously people are going to break the rules if no one enforces it. I had to stop going to this park because of these aggressive dogs.

Great park. I have lived near this park for the better part of six years and it have been a constant fixture in my time spent in Tampa. The fields are well maintained. The running track/sidewalk in clean and debris free. You really cant ask for more.

I used to like going here but now I cant bring my dog anymore. There is one lady who brings her dog and it is not neutered and always attacks my dog. I used to love going here but because of people like that who do nothing with their dogs my dog can no longer enjoy it. Its disappointing since its so close to me. They need to make people with aggressive dogs not come here or be in the play yard alone. Until then it will remain one star for me.

Large park with lots of grass and shade, water spigot to fill buckets, a couple tables with benches. Plenty of trashcans and bag stations. The park is split in 3 sections. 1 for older and small dogs and 2 normal sections.

My family went fishing here for the 1st time & it was very nice. My only problem is the amount of dogs that are off leash.

A pretty nice sized park in south tampa by MacDill AFB. They have some baseball and softball fields and a nice walking path too. Very dog friendly with even some dog park spots too

Love the dog park here. There are 2 large areas and a smaller one. When I say large, it looks like 3 converted baseball fields. Poop bags are provided, as well as several buckets for water. I have seen as many 2 dogs to as many 10. There are the occasional dogs that are too aggressive but most owners keep an eye on their dog. I have a small to medium sized one year old Terrier, who is very quick, so she can out run most dogs. So far i have not worried about aggressive dogs because she out run most of them as long as does not get cornered.There is also a nice walking path around the lake, as well several baseball diamonds used by little leaguers

My wife and I had an awesome time. We were invited by old and future friends to play in a cornhole tourney. Even though we didnt place we had a lot of fun!!

This park has everything you need and its clean and well kept trees and grass so I was able to see the air show from Magill air force base.

Great walking trail for kids and adults! They have a small playground as well. They also have work out stations along the trail.

Employees of the park need to begin reinforcing dogs MUST be leashed! Other than that, nice park. There is a lot of open trail, with no shade so lather up on the sunscreen!

Love this place. Never busy unless a ball game is going on of course. All 3 of my boys love having their birthday parties here. The pond is very relaxing to sit by, great sidewalk trail for jogging/running/walking and biking. Theres also a dog park which is hardly ever busy. Only downfall to not getting 5 stars is because there is ALWAYS broken glass surrounding the perimeter of the pavilions. The city needs to go around the only 2 pavilions there and rake/sweep/dig up the broken glass instead of letting it lay there and let the wind bury it.

The softball park has the worth parking lot and drive to the softball field and the City of Tampa dog park also at least 5 days a week there are over 300 people a night at the softball parks not to mention what goes to the doggie park

This is the biggest and best park near me to walk my dogs and work out, so I will keep on using it regardless of its drawbacks. Too bad there are a number of trashy people using the park who think its OK not to clean up after their dogs and way too many people who think its OK to let their dogs off leash outside the dog park area. This idea that because your dog is friendly its OK to harass other people and their dogs is not acceptable dog manners. Of course no one who really needs this advice probably uses the internet! Anyway, just another disappointment of South Tampa life.

Good dog park, although the softball players tend to try to hit homers for no reason, so watch where you park. The entrance to the park off of MacDill Ave is a Pokémon GO PokéStop.

All I have to say is Vicky Zimmerman sounds like shed be FUN to spend the day with. Yuck.
