Its not just for kids! This place is always fantastic. We stopped in on Saturday, July 21st, and the ladies that were there were very knowledgeable about all the moths, butterflies, and caterpillars inside. I learn something every time I visit. It is free, but they have donation boxes set up. Its a neat place to see, but be quick when you open and close the door so the butterflies dont get out!
I dont have children to take.there all grown.but I love going with my wife. Great photography place.
They were super friendly hosts and gave us a lot of information about the butterflies and showed us cocoons and explained everything. Such a great learning experience even if it is small. There were so many butterflies several different kinds and all maturities. They will land on you and lick you. So cute.
So beautiful. Pokemon go brought me here, but the butterflies kept me there
Just beautiful
My young grandchildren received such a great education from the young man operating the Butterfly House. He was so knowledgable and showed the kids the catepillars and the different types of butterflies they become. Such a great jewel in the Queen City.
Lovely staff. Enjoyed the place. Recommend to all.
Awesome place. Dont miss it. Run by volunteers. Part of taxpayer funded city parks.
Fantastic garden, well maintained, free public beauty for all!!
This is a great place to take the kids. It is in the Nathaniel Greene Park, and there are usually some pretty cool butterflys there
All kinds of wonderful butterflies! They place them in free after hatching and you can take part in special event tagging and release of the Monarch Butterflies when they do it each year!
Very interesting!
Needs more butterfly’s
