It was past the park time and we got locked in. Gate is supposed to automatically let you out but it didnt. Otherwise great views! Perfect for watching sunset and sunrise.
Its a butte. Great view of the city. Refreshing.
That awesome bench you see in the photo has been removed and now theres nowhere to sit n watch the morning sunrise. :(
Cool overlook of Eugene/Springfield just a short drive up a steep paved road. The parking lot has about 6 spots. Way less popular than Skinner Butte. I didnt hear about it until a year passed by living in Eugene. View is 360 but obstructed on one side due to houses. Theres a bench in the perfect spot better than the overlook. Check it out!
Awesome, so much potential to be a real beautiful park, the parking lot is way to big
Cute park and lookout. Parking is closed though.
Nice views quiet place every time that Ive been there...
A Great view of the two cities. And very accessable if one were handicapped or just not feeling like a hike. They do however have hours and close a gate/chain near dusk so it is goos to be prepared for that as I was not
Kelly Butte Park is a great place for adults, couples, and sightseers. THERE IS NO PLAYGROUND. This place is not kid friendly as you will probably want them to stay in the car. 360° Views with beautiful sunrise and sunset viewing makes this a photographers dream. If you find this review helpful please LIKE it. Thank You!!
A nice quiet spot to view the sunrise.
An awesome place to watch the Sunrise.
Love coming here to see the sunsets/sunrise.
Quiet, peaceful view of Springfield and Eugene. A gem I didnt know about before! However, it is only a view park, not much grass our play area- just keep that in mind if thats what youre looking for!
Peaceful at night except when people come up there and sit in their cars with headlights on/idling. Inconsiderate.
Good alternative to Skinners Butte, enjoy a different view of lane county
Not a traditional park just an overlook with a neat view of the springfield area of the Willamette Valley
Nice seats, court. Bonus drinking area downstairs
Nice views of both the Eugene and Springfield cities both night and day.
No amenities, some pretty aggressive speed bumps, but All U Can See for free - spectacular view over Springfield, Eugene, and the Willamette River valley. We could see bands of rain squalls sweeping in from the west, as a kettle of hawks swooped by at nearly eye level, harassed by a murder of crows (Thanks Big One Up There - Ive wanted the chance to write a description like that for a time) a pretty impressively immersive moment. However, dont linger too long, the actual viewpoint is immediately in the directed radiation cone of a significant number of cellphone antennas which are about 40 feet up and maybe 100 feet away.If you believe that 1.2 & 5 gHz are potentially hazardous, move away from the viewpoint and birdwatch somewhere else.
360* view pretty much.
It was beautiful
A nice hike for those with experience on hills.
Its a pretty place to go especially if you like taking pictures.
Makes you wonder how people drive up those slopes especially if it were to be icy seems to me impossible beautiful view though
Such a beautiful tranquil place to eat your lunch or just clear your head.
Nice park. With very nice view
Good place to go to if you need to chill
Beautiful view. Worth the drive or the hike.
No one jumped
Wasnt very impressed. There are Veiws of Springfield but thats all youre going to get. Its to bad the city couldnt get a hold of the butte and made it like Skinner butte in Eugene . The view includes lots of roof tops.
Great 180 view
