Located in Lake Accotink Park. This tunnel is well hidden but easy to find if you know where to look. Its on the right, from the parking lot of the parks visitor center, facing the street. A steep embankment leads to the creek and the tunnel. Once I found, I sat on the rocks and enjoyed the sound of the creek and the birds.

I went down a steep embankment to the left of the Visitors Center driveway to get to it. Seems odd that they dont have an easier method for accessing the tunnel but if you are able to get down the hill it is worth checking out.

Dont get your hopes up too much. Its a utilitarian bridge that goes over a small creek. Youll drive over it if youre driving into the park. You cant tell from the road but its a pretty good sized stone tunnel and its possible to walk through it if the water is low or if youve brought boots. I came across it while walking in the woods, thats probably the best way to come across it.
